Quality is excellent, however I followed the sizing chart exactly and the coats are FAR too large. Really disappointing.

I have used BOT items on my horses for years and have been very satisfied. So when my agility dog needs a jacket I thought of BOT. I have seen many dogs sporting them and happy owners. When my jacket came I was very surprised to see no hind leg stays. The jacket would Just slide to one side or the other within several strides. Surely this was a production error. Nope. Don’t have any jackets with leg stays. I have opted to keep the jacket and have some elastic straps added as the jacket is really what I want and need. However, for the price and coming from a horse company I am disappointed.

Hi Nancy Our US team agrees with you. The original Mesh Dog Coat did include the hind leg straps. When the new more ergonomic Bay Mesh was designed and tested, the development team was convinced by the field tests that were done, that the hind leg straps were not needed and not wanted by many of the testers. We agree with you and think that the leg straps should be made available and used or removed as the owner sees fit. Thank you for your comments and we are working to make these changes. Jim

I’ve been a long-time Back on Track customer and have always been extremely impressed with their horse products, especially the mesh blankets. I’ve personally seen the benefits on sore, older horses—reduced recovery time and improved warmth in the haunches before endurance rides. Because of that, I expected the same level of quality for my dog. Unfortunately, the bay Mesh Dog Coat has been a major disappointment. Despite carefully measuring and ordering according to the size chart, the back of the coat does not reach the stifle area and frequently flips up with minimal movement, leaving the areas I wanted covered most unsupported. Even more concerning, the fabric developed two large holes within just one week of use. My dog only wears it indoors during the day and briefly outside for potty breaks—never for outdoor play or brush exposure—yet it’s already torn. For a product at this price point, this feels extremely flimsy. To add to the frustration, shipping took quite a long time. Considering how much I’ve loved and trusted every Back on Track product I’ve purchased for my horses, I’m highly disappointed in the quality and durability of this dog coat.

I really like the coat I have for the dogs as it definitely keeps their muscles warm & flexible. But the hock brace, despite the proper fit & positioning, made her Achilles tendon sore.

I cannot tell yet much of a difference with my tennis elbow. I still feel plenty of pain during different movements. Maybe with time there will be improvement.

The first time I tried to purchase your Dixie Dog Hack brace-I could not do so. When I did receive your product and put it on her she immediately tore it. I can see that your product does help her--but she's been working on one leg and almost has the boot off. She's had them for just over a month. She was able to pull on the velcro and kept up until the boot is in pieces. She should not be able to do this. Now I have to get a whole new pair.

Encountered problems and a long wait to get my order. Having paid for 2 day Fed Ex delivery didn’t receive product until I had several back and forth emails with Back on Track. Customer service eventually made good and resent out another order. It seems it is better to order Back on Track products from other retailers rather than from the company directly from their website. Very disappointing customer service experience

Wanted to order the women’s v neck short sleeve in black but has been on back order for months. Finally had to settle for a gift card! Not happy couldn’t get the product to wrap

Your customer service team on line and in person are amazing!! I can’t say enough great things about them. Your manager from Equine Affair needs to be sent to training for compassion and customer service etiquette. I informed your online help of the horrible things I heard and saw from him. His response was to go on the defensive and tell me I was wrong. I was not the only person there that heard what he said and took it the same way. His response should have been an apology not a defense. This is truly unacceptable behavior of a manager of such a great company. If anyone higher than him would like to see the email chain please reach out. I showed people who were with me that day and they agreed he was horrible to his workers and the people shopping there.

I like the products but didn't like the return policy. The boots I purchased were a little big and I wanted to exchange them. Instead I had to request a return label (which I still haven't received) and then get store credit before I can buy the correct size. Kind of a hassle compared to other places.
