“I was very disappointed with the cake to be honest . It was my nieces birthday and it was her 40th . The cake icing was exactly as we ordered that was ok. However the sponge was descrbed as half choclate and hald sponge and we expected half the cake to be chocolate and half sponge when in fact it was alternating layers. The sponge was dry and not very deep and would not have served 18 -30 people so really disppointed”
“The cake was beautiful to look at,decorated amazingly but sadly not great to taste.was so sweet was sickly and too much lemon that was overpowering.
Wd love to buy again but plainer wd be better as no one could eat the lemon one.
Such a shame as have ordered before and couldn't fault previous ones

“I ordered a PJ mask cake with cake toppers and PJ mask candle. Cannot fault the prompt delivery of the cake, which came on the date selected. As the cake toppers and candle was not with the cake I contacted customer support by phone who informed me that these will be delivered separately by Amazon that day. Indeed I did receive a package from Amazon but there was no PJ mask cake toppers nor PJ mask candle instead a set of pj mask toys. I again contacted customer support by email, this time I was informed they have ran out of cake toppers and candle. At this point it left me no time to get any pj mask cake toppers and pj mask candle, so I was left with a cake that did not resemble the cake I ordered and paid for. It’s just a shame when I initially contacted customer support she did not tell me there was a problem with my order as I could have tried to rectify this myself. 4 year old twin boys were left disappointed on their birthday. Although Customer support offered me 50% refund which I might add still waiting for! This is not the point and would of preferred to of got what I actually ordered and paid for. Will not be ordering from them in future. Communication needs to improve by them and tell customers there is an issue with any of the products.”
“I've been trying to contact this company for a week about changing a delivery date for a birthday cake but have had no answer or reply after leaving messages with my order ID and co tact info. I keep calling and calling and i just get through to the answering machine which is no help when there emails etc say "for urgent enquiries please call us". I wont be using them again because of this. Just buy local if you can.”

“No confirmation email to say order received, kept our fingers crossed they would arrive. Arrived a day earlier than we specified so were not fresh when we are them. Quite dry. Images in icing were blurry. Disappointing.

Cake arrived promptly and in good condition unfortunately the personalized name had been iced incorrectly. I sent an email with photo of the cake but Bakerdays have ignored me. Then to make matters worse when the cake was eaten on 17th June, (delivered on 13th June), the sponge was quite dry. Very disappointing”
“I’m really loathe to write a negative review of a small business but my attempts to rectify the issue with the company have been completely ignored. I spent almost £80 for a celebration pack, including 3 helium balloons, a cake and candle. The cake was fine but I received just one balloon (not the balloon I ordered) which was completely deflated. The candle was completely missing. I sent an email, with photographic evidence and asked for help, they initially responded but once I asked for a partial refund, which I thought fair, I was completely ghosted. Chances are you might have a positive experience with this company, but is it worth taking that risk when you are planning for a special event. Really, really poor customer care. Go elsewhere.”
