Was easy to order and received confirmation the cake would arrive on 18th October between 11.15 & 1.15. It arrived at around 5.40pm & my husband saw the courier flipping the box like a football as he walked down the drive! However, it was so well packaged within its box and again within another box that it was totally undamaged. It was well received the next day for my sister’s birthday. Having read other reviews on here now, I feel we were very lucky that our experience was good. It looked lovely and tasted very nice too. Would order again but now feel unsure due to having read other reviews.

Do not use this company!!! I ordered a cake for my mother's 90 birthday on 16 September 2024 to be delivered on the 16 th October The cake was due to arrive on Wednesday .The cake delivery window slot came and went with no sign of the cake. I checked on the delivery company and they had put the wrong post code i called bakerdays twice, both times the phone went through to voicemail, I left a voicemail but no one at the company the decency to return my call. After 6pm the delivery company updated their website to say new delivery date and now my correct code . I tried to contact the delivery company they were as useless as this company who wants a cake that’s been sat in the van since Wednesday! Am update the cake arrived 3 minutes ago the box was dented and damp I would say that the cake felt damp and was it worth over 40 pound NO the next time I want a cake i will go to Marks and Spencer.

Cake delivered on its side, Delivery driver swore at us, told us he knew where we lived after threatening us. Complained to Bakerdays to be told they would investigate. Three weeks later issued not resolved but told by their customer service team, well you did get your cake! Very small overpriced cake, avoid at all costs and go and get a supermarket cake. I will spare the courier company the embarrassment of putting up the video of the driver swearing and threatening us!

This is the second time Bakerday’s have let me down. On the first occasion the cake arrived a day late and the order had been charged twice to my credit card but was promptly corrected . On the latest occasion I was charged 4 times for the same order. When I spoke to customer services, the guy blamed me for ‘refreshing the page’ during the transaction, which I didn’t, he was not at all apologetic and it took several days for it to be refunded. He reordered the cake over the phone but in order to correct the online order he asked me for my password??Not how I expected it to be resolved. The cake arrived on time, this time and was lovely as they always are but ordering via the web site needs to be revised as it is bordering on fraudulent.

I ordered a cake for my 80 year old grandma whose pretty much been at home since covid. I wanted to cheer her up so ordered her a letterbox valentine cake. It would have made her day. I put a note to the courier company DX that the cake could also be left in her porch, which she ALWAYS keeps open. Delivery drivers aren't patient, if they ring her door bell, she would not be able to run, she's 80 so the porch open would give her time. No cake arrived, yet I got notification so she checked everywhere after I had to spoil the surprise. Worried, she searched with neighbours and now very upset, which isn't what I wanted my Grandma to feel, I was supposed to cheer her up. No cake, absolutely nothing! I checked for a picture to see where they allegedly put this parcel as it said "delivered to porch" no picture was downloadable. I contacted Bakerdays and they weren't bothered at all, they showed ZERO concern that I paid money, but most of all that an 80 year old elderly person was left worried, upset and cakeless. They just said to me it was dumped by bins, hold on!!! Since when is the bins the porch???????? The courier LIED and Bakerdays enabled them in this lie. The cake was NOT anywhere. Bakerdays, didn't give a damn! And offered 25% off next purchase. HOLD ON! Where's the cake?! I was prepared to take a credit note for the cost of the cake. I had planned to use Bakerdays as a company to use to send cakes instead of birthday cards. I had planned to introduce to a client to use for their staff as its a quirky gift, but after treating my 80 year old Grandma like trash and not giving a damn about no cake and so blase that I paid money for this cake and enabling DX to lie, I find this fraudulent and abhorrent. AVOID!!!!

Stole money, no delivery, not received a thing! Fraudulent company! Contacted them about it, lied and ignored me. DO NOT USE! I will be contacting ActionFraud and Trading Standards.

Paid for special delivery of a gluten free cake for delivery on Saturday 23rd December 2023. In time for my sons 7th birthday on Christmad day. Cake did not arrive, no one available to ask if the cake was on its way at 5pm on the 23rd. Let down as were all of the other people on this review site. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION-DO NOT RELY ON THEM, DO NOT USE THEM!!!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY For the 2nd time Bakerdays have let me down. Last time my husbands retirement cake did not arrive. This time I was assured the company had been taken over and I would receive my delivery on time. Now my two young grandchildren 3 & 6 will not be receiving their Christmas present of a personalised Grinch Christmas cake because the delivery has not turned up because the delivery company DID NOT receive the cake on time for delivery. Absolutely appalling customer service!!!!

Cake did not turn up for Grandsons 9th Birthday. Blamed delivery Company and had no empathy for the ruined occasion. Only seemed interested in shifting the blame even though paid £10 extra for Saturday delivery

I recently ordered my sons second birthday cake from bakerdays. It arrived in perfect condition and it was absolutely stunning. bakerdays really accommodated to my requirements and the cake tasted amazing with everyone commenting on how nice it was. I would 100% recommend bakerdays to anyone, I will definitely be ordering again!

Ordered cake for grandaughters birthday.sent my daughter wrong cake.was revolting colours nothing like we ordered.half of base.got party tomorrow and no cake.and the refuse to do anything about it.Do not order from them.

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** Having ordered from Bakerdays on 15/03/23 I had several issues with my order, not least that they failed to deliver by the promised date (17/03/23) or even the date they amended to (18/03/23), absolutely shocking customer service means the issues still haven't been rectified despite several calls, emails and messages on Facebook (they have now blocked me) and we still do not have what we paid for! Please read the reviews before ordering from this company as I didn't and now regret it wholeheartedly. Will be issuing a claim in the small claims court if I don't get this sorted this week. Completely ruined our mother's day surprise for our elderly mum. They even had the cheek to apologise for the way i felt, not for MAKING me feel that way! Rude ignorant and downright shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Dissapointment. I have called on friday and I was assured that my cake will be delivered on Saturday the next day. Saturday at the time of delivery I got message that the courier was busy and my delivery was postponed on Monday! I also paid extra for delivery on Saturday. The birthday was ruined thanks to Bakerdays. They even didnt respond to my emails. not a single apology, not a single regret. Also it was described a cake of 10-12 pieces, the caked arrived of a size of a palm! it is a complete fraud!

Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered a cake and ballon as a surprise for my daughter’s 21st birthday and chose her exact birthday for her to receive it. Bakerdays delivered it 3 days earlier than her birthday to her university. As she was out of town till her actual birthday and bakerdays delivery rep did not mention that there was a cake in the big brown box and did not notify neither me or her of the delivery, It was kept in the storage room for days. After chasing bakerdays to find out what happened to our cake, bakerdays confirmed delivery 5 days later and we went to claim the box. The cake could not be eaten and bakersdays showed no remorse. Just offered a discount on my next purchase as if money was the problem. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO EMPATHY AT ALL and the cakes are much too small compared to the advert. I can’t comment on the taste as she had to throw the stale cake away! Beware of this company and read all the reviews. They spoilt a very significant occasion for us!

I was really excited to order from this company because my partner lives far from me so I wanted to give him a surprise for his bday. I order the cake on the 27th of January paid a £15.00 “two day” order fee. The cake totalled £31.99 for a letterbox cake which was a lot for such a small cake but they guaranteed it would be there on the 1st. It did not arrive. We phone customer service and we were told we’ll get a phone call back. When she phoned back she said the cake wouldn’t arrive and might be the day after or two days after she couldn’t give a date. Don’t need the cake now! The birthday has passed. I paid the crazy postage price because I needed the cake for the birthday. Phoned saying I want a refund and was told to email. I’ll post an update on how that goes but seeing the other posts I have no hope that I’ll actually get my money back. I would not recommend this company at all. Update the cake still hasn’t arrived and bakerdays emailed saying they don’t know what happened and they can send me a new cake or give me credit. What a joke why would I need a cake now and why would I want to reorder from them. BAKERDAYS YOU ARE A SCAM!

just don't order from here. i used them before so i thought i use them again to order a cake for a surprise for my daughter. well customer service very poor no one picks up phone same message we're extremely busy leave message. i asked for cake to be delivered on saturday paid for saturday delivery which wasn't cheap well got message from dpd to say it be delivered i. 2 april one day early so it spoilt the surprise as asked it to be delivered saturday 3. tried calling these people no message don't reply to emails not a good service so avoid ordering from here as you will be left disappointed.

I ordered a cake 3 weeks before my husband’s birthday! All I received the evening before his 75 birthday was the packaging.. no cake . We were having a zoom party and by the time Bakerdays were open they offered me a cake a day later or my money back ..I suggested that as they had messed up I deserved both .. they didn’t agree so we never received the cake.. I don’t rate a company on their mistakes but on how they fix them.. Bakerdays ruined my husband’s birthday and didn’t have the customer relations to fix it and get themselves out of trouble .. Will never use them again !

I have ordered this cake online 3 weeks before my mom's birthday, just to be sure about the delivery date. The parcel came in a very nice box, wrapped 3 times so it could remain perfect and the surprise was huge :) My mom was extremely happy about the presentation and about the taste. As soon as I asked for a slice photo, I was informed that the cake had been eaten, it seems it is too delicious to resist longer. The reviews website does not allow me to post photos, however, I can assure you the delivered product exceeds the expectations. Therefore, I am a happy customer and will definitely come back to this shop. Highly recommended!

Ordered cake. They sent an email saying order received. Took money from bank account. No cake on day required. Supposedly they say some technical fault occurred so order not processed but they still took my money. Now trying to get money back and they are not being helpful. Would advise not to use this company.
