“Delivered on exactly the right day, full tracking available. Cake was fresh, nice flavour and consistency, red velvet, with a nice fondant icing in exactly the correct colour and wording of my order. Size looks small but actually it does the correct number of people. Great if you want a personal cake for a special occasion”
“The cake tasted good, and would have looked lovely except that it arrived damaged as a result of the courier not taking care and not holding the cake upright when delivering.
I told Bakerdays it was damaged, (showing a photo), and they offered to send a replacement. I was grateful for this and asked if it could be delivered for the morning slot as we were having the cake at lunchtime. I didn't receive a reply to this, and no replacement cake arrived either. When I emailed again after the event, I didn't receive a reply then either. I was always polite, but feel like I had been "blanked"!
