Worst online experience – avoid this retailer Soak.com (also known as Bath Empire) has the worst combination for an online retailer – a/ being a really poorly run online business (eventhough this term might even give them too much credit as guess is better termed as an old-fashioned retailer who decided ‘hey, let’s go online….’) and b/ they have chosen the worst logistic partner, DX, that appears to operate completely in their own world with no control from Soak.com. My recommendation is to stay well away from soak.com – my list of problems is long and with several orders this has been going on for weeks with basically no interest from Soak.com – - First order non-delivered twice despite booking confirmed; re-booking took weeks and countless calls - Web-site description of items mis-leading and once pointed out several discussions to get someone within Soak.Com to listen and action replacements - Second order non-delivered twice despite booking confirmed; at this stage haven’t managed getting the goods and have cancelled instead - The Soak.com management team couldn’t care less about customers and take days to get on the phone, will constantly argue rather than resolving customers issues and will not take any responsibility for their organisations responsibility to the customer nor their responsibility for their poor logistics partner - Soak.com will send information about delivery however this is not real time information according to the call-centre but ‘automated’ so its meaning less Avoid, avoid, avoid! I am out of pocket for having contractors waiting for deliveries that never materialise, don’t make the same mistake as I have, go somewhere else!

We purchased a bathroom cabinet which we collected and upon opening I discovered the item was faulty. When i called to get a simple replacement, they said they cant as the item may have possibly been damaged by myself when i collected. the item was packaged in 2 boxes (1 inside the other and lots of polystyrene) and so would be near impossible for me to damage when transporting home less than 1 mile away. They said i should have opened the box before i left site to check everything was ok. i bought the product in good faith that it would be in perfect working order and shouldnt need to open before i leave site- no other company does this, so why soak does im not sure (or maybe all their items are of very poor quality). getting the faulty item replaced is near impossible and the customer service is absolutely awful. any customers trying to purchase from here PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE (even if you have to pay more go somewhere else). The company and their products are truly the worst i have experienced, and trust me i have experienced bad places before (even taking one to court). We have now sent a recorded delivery letter and awaiting a response. i will say this once more DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. TOTALLY AND UTTERLY GHASTLY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!

Second time my order hasn't been delivered, would love to cancel my order altogether but can't get through on the phone and no one seems to reply to my emails. I will not be using them again.

Soak managed to deliver the wrong shower door, simple to rectify you would think, I'm afraid not. I tried phoning, I never got an answer, even after letting it ring for 20 mins. Email, this seems to be the best option, best that is if you are happy with a response which is at best 2 days. After being fobbed off for 3 weeks, I was eventually given a day for collection of the wrong unit and delivery of the correct item, wrong unit collected, no sign of the right one. more emails, more excuses, 2 more times I was promised it was out for delivery, 2 more times it didnt arrive. On the 3rd occasion it arrived, it only took 8 weeks for them to sort out their mistake. Since then I have been offered allsorts of incentives to remove my reviews, I;m afraid the horse has already bolted.

Like others on here ordered for 2 bathrooms, received goods, some missing, some broken and some completely different to what I ordered, this was 05/04/2016 and today 17/08/2016 I am still waiting on goods and refund. customer service is non existent, avoid like the plague.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHARLATANS, they trade under:- ibathuk, soak.com, luxury for less and bath empire. be warned you will spend hours on the phone, email and waiting for delivery and collections. Avoid the stress and buy local, it will be cheaper in the long run.

Every thing with this company is wrong. I ordered some radiator and send took nearly a month to be delivered and 3 times they deliver the broken radiator and the last time when i had it , didn't have the bracket and took another 2 weeks to have that. I advise you not to do any deal with this company as i promise you will regret that.

I have never felt the need to review a company online before as if I have had a bad experience in the past I have spoken with them and had any issues resolved. In this case I feel so strongly about warning others about the terrible after sales care I have taken time out of my day to do so. We placed two large orders with Bathempire/soak.com as was having both wetroom and bathroom redone. Order was delivered with no issues, workmen come to install bathroom under the sink units only to find both of them was damaged and not useable. We called and only way we could get a replacement was if my husband was to take units to them to exchange! My husband had to take an afternoon off work to do this! Workmen was left not being able to complete jobs as items from the order was missing (fixings etc) we are now currently waiting for a fixing kit for the shower screen which we was promised would be with us on Monday. Didn't arrive so I called again today to be told that they are having issues with their system and it won't be with us until Friday. I have explained what am I to do without a shower and a three year old and how the jobs can't be finished because of missing parts and they are not interested. Asked to speak with a manager to be told this isn't possible as our company policy is to raise a 24 hour call back. Still waiting! Natasha was the lady I spoke with today and felt I was talking to myself and she wasn't in the slightest interested in helping me. I would never order from them again or recommend to friends or family.

They supplied me 5 tall bathroom cabinets and I found one of them severely damaged. I opened it late (beyond 14 days) as no handyman was available. Now they are declining to return this item. They are not a member of furniture ombudsman so difficult to get the claim. Still I am trying. Probably my experience is same as Ted Oliver.

We ordered a shower door 10 days ago. Delivery was confirmed for Friday, but we haven't received anything. On Monday we called customer service to check what is happening with our order. We've been told that our order was loaded in the wrong van and redelivery date is Wednesday. We asked why no one advised about the changes. Today, as is Wednesday, I thought to call customer service and check if our order left the depot and for our surprise we found out that product is damaged and they will have to replace and arrange redelivery with can take another week or more. We've asked to speak with the manager and no one is available. Maybe, if we are lucky, in 48 h will be contacted by the manager. Poor services and communication is '0'. Is annoying as we have booked the builders to fix the door initially for today and we postponed for Thursday, now we have to wait another week or so to rearrange everything.

Bath Empire, now changed to Soak.... soon they will change their name again......Spent over£4,000 on refitting two bathrooms, found one cabinet badley damaged, they refused to replace stating it was outside their 14 report policy, their customer service is CRAP, they only want your money which was paid in full. Bad news for them I will take this further and we have over 5000-000 ditributors on our site. I put up about their bad service and told do not use them and pass it on. I love big fights in Court, I will see them soon, will never buy from this crap company again.

I ordered a bathroom suit that looked like it came with everything in the pretty picture but on arrival when I checked it there was no bath panel so I rang up to order a panel just to find they were going to charge me an extra £60 delivery on top so sent an email to the complaints department and they dropped the charges eventually. The panel turned up and it was completely the wrong one so sent it back and got the correct one. Got it fitted sealed all around it with sanitary grade silicon and within two weeks it started to blow up with water damage, not sure what I expected it's just cheep chipboard so complained again and haven't heard anything back. Never again will I buy anything from this company.

AVOID! Now renamed as "SOAK.COM",still AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I purchased a basin wall hung unit just over a year ago, it started crack on the side walls and drawers recently. I emailed them with pictures asking nicely for a replacement since it's under "10 year warranty", but I was rudely told that the cracks are caused by "water damage"... I drove me nuts as "It's a basin and its in contact with water everyday!!!" We use it just like everyone else... The conclusion is - "10 year warranty" is just a sales trick, it never existed. They're just interested in getting your money and run, just like they changed their name from BATH EMPIRE to SOAK.COM The truth is that they can run but they can't hide, so avoid buying anything from them as they will change their name again soon!

Ordered a basin / vanity unit and paid for next day delivery. The product was not delivered the next day, and the customer service team simply went to ground until it was eventually delivered ... Helpfully then emailing to say it had been delivered. Unfortunately it was damaged and needs returning, however the customer service team have once again proved uncontactable and a week has now passed.

My husband and I ordered a new shower and shower tray from Bath Empire, who are now called Soak. The shower tray arrived without the waste and waste grill, no problem called Bath Empire/Soak up and the missing part arrived over night, brilliant, could not fault the service and this is what I had experienced using Bath Empire previously. However, the plumber then fitted the new shower and there was a hairline crack in the plastic valve inside and water was gushing out inside the wall, I called Soak only to be told that 2 days previous the customer service had changed and now nothing is sent out overnight, they do not offer that service anymore. I offered to pay for Royal Mail Special Delivery but was told that was not a service they offered (I am pretty sure Royal Mail still do offer this service) and I would have to wait 6 days for the part to arrive. I asked for the make and part number so that I could buy the part from a plumbers merchant but apparently the product is made for Soak in China and parts cannot be bought for it. Day 6 is today, no parcel. My husband had received an email though, to tell us to clean the part, that would fix it. Oh cleaning fixes cracks does it! I called customer services, no part had been sent out, they said they did not know what the problem was and so sent the cleaning email out instead. No contacting us to ask for additional explanation, even after my original call had explained the water was gushing out of the faulty valve and being promised that the part was ordered and would be with me within 6 days. Needless to say I am fuming, we have a building control inspector coming out tomorrow and will now have to cancel or pay for the inspector to make an additional visit. I again offered to pay Soak for Royal Mail Special Delivery so that we could get it first thing tomorrow in time for the inspection and once again they do not offer this service! Apparently they have to take the part out of another shower and then pack it up and send it Royal Mail first class, that apparently means today is Wednesday and I will not receive it until next Tuesday, Royal Mail's first class service really must be going down hill! However, I was offered that I could pick it up from them as they have loads hanging around (oh I thought you had to take one out of a shower). So I could take the day off, drive 170 mile round trip! I asked if anyone would be prepared to take the parcel to the post office for me if I pay - oh no "That is not our procedure, if we offered that all our customers would want it"! So, here I am waiting to see if next week a part arrives! I was too scared to put the phone down without the order being placed, this was promised to me last week and so how can I believe that today is any different! I can't say the gentleman I spoke to was rude, he was getting frustrated with me for asking for good customer service, all I am asking for is a simple part to be put in the post for me and I will even pay, even though it should be free as the product is faulty! How can a company change it's name and then change it's customer service, for the worse!! Aren't changes supposed to be for the better! I have now checked Soak.com website and their delivery policy for orders under £399 clearly state: Standard Delivery £3.95, Next Day Delivery £4.99. I am happy to pay the £4.99, why can I not have my part! What a diabolical company. The "We don't offer that service" is clearly a blatant lie. What they mean is that service is only offered to people spending money on a new order, customers like ourselves who have already spent their money and just want a faulty product rectified can wait 2 weeks for the fault to be repaired. DO NOT TOUCH this company if you require customer service or a product in full working order! One Star is TOO MUCH, I can't put ZERO!

Purchased a High Quality? shower cubicle from Bath Empire in November 2015. After 6 months use, noticed doors were becoming more harder to close. Further investigation discovered that the bottom door roller bearings have become rusty and seized. Reported this to Bath Empire under the warranty terms with many emails. Said they have sent new rollers but not yet received! Finally spoke to someone on the telephone today but got the impression that they didn't give a s**t. was told more rollers will be on there way and they would not be liable for any costs involved in having the rollers replaced by a tradesman. Lets wait and see, but I bet the rollers do not turn up!
