I ordered a raised bed, paid £15 for shipping for 2-4 days, waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. Contacted the store and they apologised and sent it out, it arrived a few days later but was the wrong size and the wood was split and coming apart. I have contacted since and still yet to hear anything. Terrible service

Ordered chimenea for a birthday present 2 have been delivered but badly damaged. Courier took it back some called Michael emailed me but 2 weeks have passed and still no chimenea which happened to be a birthday present Sunday passed.

Cancelled my order. They accepted the cancellation and return of money within 10 days. The item i cancelled arrived a week later no refund and emails since ignored!!

Very, very poor customer service when dealing with faulty and damaged items. Contacted via email and telephone - service no better. Would not reccommend. Trading Standards contacted.

I am awaiting a response to the fact that I believe that I was delivered three 21 inch blades rather than the 24 inch ones that I thought I had ordered.

To clarify, the product image on our website does indeed show 21-inch blades, which is what was shipped to you. However, we value your feedback and want to ensure your satisfaction. Therefore, we would be happy to offer you a couple of options: Return and Refund: You can return the 21-inch blades to us, and we will issue a full refund upon receiving them. The ostrich duster looked incredible in the photo... In reality it's appalling. I've seen more feathers on a battery chicken. Furthermore, the poor quality of the few feathers attached leaves fronds on the cobwebs which still hang on the wall. The extending pole works. As you've probably surmised, I am not impressed.

Whilst their prices are reasonable and delivery is quick if there is anything wrong with your order the customer service is appalling. I was sent an incorrect item and have been trying to get it corrected for two months now.

I AM MORE Than UPSET WITH YOUR COMPANY AS I WAS SENT THE WRONG SIZE ORDER I sent email upon email explaining their error and made several calls to be told I was correct and they were in the wrong and offered an insulting refund of a stingy £5.00 when I paid £11.00 for the goods for the right size and £7.00 postage=£18.00 total, unless they correct the refund payment to me I will never use them again and will make my complaint public on line. Thank you for your review. We're sorry that you received the incorrect size of product. We spoke with you on the phone and apologized for this error, confirming that we would issue a refund to compensate for the inconvenience. We sent you 4 x 250ml bottles instead of the 4 x 290ml bottles you ordered. This means you received 160ml less than expected, which is equivalent to less than one 250ml bottle. We have refunded you £5, which is just under the price of two 250ml bottles, and we believe this fairly compensates for the shortfall. Thank you for your understanding.

Few minutes after placing the order, i realized the color was not the right one so i emailed Batley customer service immediately to either change the order or cancel the order. I chased 3 times and now they sent me a product i dont want. I called and had a fairely rude and unhelpful person on the line who told me to just wait for their response (it has been 2 weeks now….). In summary, safer to buy your item from an established store.

The item arrived broken the nutcracker head was completely broken off with wires hanging out, not surprising as it was not adequately packed. It was delivered with only a covering of bubble wrap around it. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed with product and service/communication. Delivery was a week late - this cost me money as I could not complete the job for my Client. I left 3 messages on the answer phone and at least 2 emails, all without response. I even asked for a refund as I had to go to B&Q to buy the required melamine board to complete my job. When it finally turned up, all four corners are bruised and battered. Some of the edges are dented and scratched. Basically, useless!!

Bought a hot tub ,first time putting it up it was going flat within a day or to tried to contact the store heard nothing,same with email's. All I wanted to do is swap it for one that actually stays up which I was well within my rights as was only few days old .

I'm not impressed. I ordered a pair of Rudulph characters for Christmas, all the illustrations/graphics used in the marketting materials show 2 reindeer. When the parcel arrived only 1 character. I subsequently phoned the shop and spoke to the assistant about my complaint. The shop owner wasn't in, but she said she would speak to him and get back to me. No further response has been received from the shop! All quite dissapointing and the purchase very misleading. I guess that is what sometimes happens online.

Despatch time was excellent. Delivery time was good. BUT, the carbon monoxide alarm actually supplied to me was not the model that was illustrated on the online screen or on any of the paperwork, including the delivery note. I specifically ordered the model illustrated as it would have fitted straight onto my existing wallplate. However I have installed the different alarm that was supplied. My advice to you is to supply what you actually list. NB: The alarm that you illustrate on this questionnaire is what I ordered, but not what you supplied.

Your customer service is a joke you give a deliver date and not dispatch the item until after the date when you contact customer service for a date of told your don’t worry your order will be fulfilled very soon (Michael) then no reply from you at all would never order from you again!!
