“It took longer than I anticipated but the item is excellent and perfect for my purpose of carrying gear to music gigs.”

“When we checked the egg chair it was obvious that it had been opened and returned! There was a cut cable tie, the plastic bag containing the cushion was tied in a double knot and two of the feet were missing. One of the rattan strips was loose (which we have now glued in place). We eventually found the missing feet. The box was quite battered when it arrived (we have pictures). To conclude we will retain this item as it is for a 50th present and we may have issues with another one but we would think twice before making another purchase .”

“The poor delivery time offered was not kept, 2 weekdays late. I want a product suitable for fruit trees but the enclosed literature does not state this, it omly details Roses. If used on fruit trees what precaution sre need if any. I am unlikely to use Batley again unless they do something special to help me. my trees are now in utgent need of treatment E. Wilkinson”

“Not sure if it’s fair to blame Batley. I kept receiving notices from the delivery service. Said the package had to returned because of breakages. However, when the package arrived it took me such so long to unpick all the tape cut away all the bubble wrap. It was then I heard broken china at the bottom of the box. It was only one small side plate. On the + delivery man was nice. Mx”

“Not impressed, bad communication, I'm fed up with company's giving the impression that something is in stock, taking your money and then telling you nothing. Had been to two other companies before Batley's and in total it took over nine weeks to get something that they all said was stock. Very unimpressed.”

“The item I required was out of stock at my usual go-to suppliers. We found it advertised at Batley DIY so ordered it. I emailed them my phone number as the one on pay-pal was out of date. The reply was swift. The consignment turned up after 9 days but with the Easter weekend in between. The correct item arrived, new and adequately packaged.”
