When we checked the egg chair it was obvious that it had been opened and returned! There was a cut cable tie, the plastic bag containing the cushion was tied in a double knot and two of the feet were missing. One of the rattan strips was loose (which we have now glued in place). We eventually found the missing feet. The box was quite battered when it arrived (we have pictures). To conclude we will retain this item as it is for a 50th present and we may have issues with another one but we would think twice before making another purchase .

My order was over a week late with no communication. Condition of box was broken and dented.

Good product rubbish delivery told it arrived asked where & when, we will look into it 7 days later it arrived same tracking code

Not sure if it’s fair to blame Batley. I kept receiving notices from the delivery service. Said the package had to returned because of breakages. However, when the package arrived it took me such so long to unpick all the tape cut away all the bubble wrap. It was then I heard broken china at the bottom of the box. It was only one small side plate. On the + delivery man was nice. Mx

Not impressed, bad communication, I'm fed up with company's giving the impression that something is in stock, taking your money and then telling you nothing. Had been to two other companies before Batley's and in total it took over nine weeks to get something that they all said was stock. Very unimpressed.

Batley has good prices and delivery prices are fair, but be prepared for a wait as delivery is painfully slow. Allow a few weeks for things to arrive.

Didn’t arrive when expected. Had to make a couple of phone calls, and was told the same thing that the water butt would be delivered within two days. May have been an issue with the delivery company .

My order was fulfilled reasonably quickly by yourselves. However, I am still waiting on my order to arrive 😔 Due to the fact I live in Scotland and you use DX Freight for delivery, I am not expected to get my product until 28th April which will be 3 weeks after placing my order. They only deliver in my area on Mondays and this is delayed because of Easter. Have to say I am very disappointed with the delivery service

Nice item at a great price. The reason for the lower rating is that I paid £7 for express delivery. Order placed on a Wednesday evening, delivery estimated Fri-Tues. Got notification on the Tuesday to advise of dispatch, parcel delivered Thursday. Not what I would call express and not worth £7.

Product GOOD Price. GOOD Deliver Four Days dispatch and then sent next day delivery would have been here quicker if sent on three days career and dispatch next day!

Although the bulb fitted and works,this is not the one I ordered. The pictures on website showed the best energy saving bulb. I was sent the worst. Not happy. Batley were great. Well packaged. Thankyou.

Have already aired my difficulties with my order an look forward to being problem free with next order I will be make no in the next day or two. However it has to be said that tho response to my complaint was without fault. They responded to my notification immediately and a senior person dealt with things immediately. I hope to have a long term relationship with them.

Ordered roofing sheet screws and eaves filler. Screws were exactly as described but unfortunately the eaves filler wasn’t the size described on the website, the length and profile didn’t match the ones I had previously installed. I e-mailed Batley DIY who replied quickly but was told I was mistaken and they had sent the correct ones. I replied to explain that the manufacturer states the 3inch profile eaves filler is 680mm in length and the ones I received are over 900mm (making the profile completely wrong so wouldn’t fit my roof) that was a few days ago but I’ve not had a reply back unfortunately.

after waiting for items to be delivered and an email from myself to the company, I finally got an email back to say they did not have a couple of items and would I like a complete refund or partial. I got the order and a prompt refund.

The props are very rough need sanding. We had to change the bolt through the middle as it kept coming out and replaced it with a longer one with a bolt at the end to stop it falling out. These props are very narrow compared to my old ones. . That's my fault I should of measured my old ones first.
