“My God, I don’t know if these people are seriously doing business or if it’s a scam going on. All I can say is this. When you place your order, they take your money, you get your order number. The order says 5 days. 3 weeks later and I had to keep chasing them up. In the end I received 8 out of 12 items, after being promised that I’d be receiving the full order. Anyway s, avoid this company like the plague. I believe when you place your order, that’s when they place the order with China. This was my first and last time ordering from this place. On another note, while looking into this business, I found out that they’ve been closed since February of this year. So how come they’re still taking people’s orders.”

“The poor delivery time offered was not kept, 2 weekdays late. I want a product suitable for fruit trees but the enclosed literature does not state this, it omly details Roses. If used on fruit trees what precaution sre need if any. I am unlikely to use Batley again unless they do something special to help me. my trees are now in utgent need of treatment E. Wilkinson”

“Took over a month to deliver my order. Even then they refunded part of it they never had. No communication at all unless I contacted them first. Awful company to deal with.”

“I bought paint and paid extra for quick delivery within 4 days. You took 9 days to deliver. By which time I had bought paint locally and had finished my painting job. You broke your promise to deliver as you said you would. I’ll never buy from you again. When I next visit Batley, I’ll drop off your paint and ask for my money back.”

“Items ordered took over 19 days to arrive. Tried to contact Batley but voice mail was full and email contact did not work and kept getting bounced back. Have tried to cancel order before items were despatched but was unable to contact the company. Have now gone to PayPal to recover my money. Have also requested a return of items via Shop app but still no communication with company. One very disappointed customer.”

“Communication shocking had to get PayPal involved to get a refund will not respond to emails keeping in touch with customers orders are very important only sent 5 items out of 13 with no back up date to follow avoid”

“The one star is because the parts were orderd, an e reply from Batley came to me very quick stating possible dates for delivery and tracking details would follow. Over 1 week and no tracking details forth coming. I sent one more e asking when i would get said delivery, the reply was "they had trouble sourcing some of my order. I asked for them to cancel the order and refund me. that did not happen,and no reply. The order turned up 4to 5 days later. If you want parts asap dont use Batley diy”

“I ordered a raised bed, paid £15 for shipping for 2-4 days, waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. Contacted the store and they apologised and sent it out, it arrived a few days later but was the wrong size and the wood was split and coming apart. I have contacted since and still yet to hear anything. Terrible service”
