Hi Katie, sorry to hear about the delay to your delivery. I understand that the delay was caused by the Royal Mail who are still experiencing some delays with parcels. I believe our support team did keep you up dated about the delivery and offered a replacement. In regards to the quality, the coffee you received is highly rated by our members with a score of 4.8 out of 5. All our coffees are speciality graded and freshly roasted to order and we have many award winning coffees included 10 Great Taste Award winners. We hope you don't have any further issues but please do in get in touch if you do, we typically reply the same day to our members queries.

Could have been a good idea, if it were not for a shockingly poor website and account management. Having received a gift voucher, it took 2 calls to the company to get a code and place an order. Even then, the website kept thinking the code had been "used" so did not accept it. Eventually, having given up for a few months, the system reset and it accepted my code. However, during the "confirm subscription" process, the site no longer accepted my code and charged me £10.99 for my free coffee! And yes, the coffee that should have been free arrived in 2 days. Even now, over a month later, having tried to cancel my subscription, the site tells me its pending (that is even after the website upgrade). It would have been a good idea, and I probably would have continued with the subscription. But, its such a poor system, I would suggest you avoid.

We have subscribed to Beans for a few months now and the coffee has been excellent. However, our last delivery was the same coffee as the previous delivery. Although it was nice, it would be better to have a variety each and every time perhaps.

I was sent a bag of coffee that had a date that was either a roast date or a use by date, unsure of either as no year I disposed of the coffee. It was a free trial so not really impressed so will not use them again,I was contacted by the company concerned about my review but have not heard anything about the investigation I have received an email to change this review as it has been dealt with, at no point has it been dealt with just a reply implying I am wrong or confused with the dating process, my emails were with Richard Jones so have a chat with him as this will clear up your (so we thought that it was clear) comment.

Hi Matthew, We are sincerely sorry to read this review and to hear that you threw away such an amazing (and freshly roasted for you) coffee. I can confirm that the date on the bag is the roast date - it is written (or stamped) in the area that says 'Roasted for you on:' so we thought that it was clear. This was not the first coffee bean that I've tried and was one of the worst. Very sour and unless you add milk and sugar it was not what I was expecting from chocolatey flavoured Brazilian coffee

Very enjoyable, seems to work best with milk based drinks as opposed to an espresso. Really smooth & had a fruitiness to it. An easy drinker, we definitely got through these beans quicker than we usually do, so enjoyed our coffees this week.

Absolutely adore the service: great coffee, great people, absolute value for money especially if you are constantly in search of a new coffee to taste, and want to stay away from huge companies and bland tastes.

Brilliant if you want to try new coffees, and explore the best roasters and coffees in the UK as you will get something new and different and a surprise every time. If you'd like a particular type of coffee, I recommend emailing the support team as they'd definitely help you get it on your next delivery.
