Tried for a few weeks, some coffees were very good but when taking the initial taste questionnaire to build a profile of coffees that would suit our palate we specifically stated that we do not like fruity finishes on coffee. Sadly this was completely pointless as we regularly received coffees with a fruity note or finish

We have subscribed to Beans for a few months now and the coffee has been excellent. However, our last delivery was the same coffee as the previous delivery. Although it was nice, it would be better to have a variety each and every time perhaps.

Quality of beans completely varies - last 2 have been unusable.

Nice beans, but just put off by the 'sponsored by delongi' I want to feel that my coffee comes from a beautiful artisan shop smelling of cake and fresh grind, not from a sweaty salesman in Currys trying to sell me overpriced gadgets and worthless insurance.

Coffee was okay, just not to our taste. Delivery took a long time. This may have been down to Royal Mail strikes?

The ground was too fine which resulted in a poor flow from my cofee machine. Real shame as the flavour when used is wonderful. Only issue I’ve ever had and still very happy with the service and quality overall.

Beans Coffee Club opens up the opportunity to sample a wide range of coffees based, so I understand, on varietals of the Arabica coffee bean from different countries around the World. So far so good. The response to an initial email was slow, but the response was acceptable and appeared fairly well considered when it came. But the problems for me arise when the coffees are described. When coffee is described as having - Tastes of Plum, Tangerine, Caramel and Milk Choc, I am completely lost. Personally, I do not detect these flavours in any way at all and could not possibly use them to describe a coffee. I must accept that my taste ability is not sophisticated enough to appreciate the subtle distinctions between all the different coffees available - they are just entirely wasted on me. It appears that my taste is for a coffee with a small percentage of the Robusta variety of coffee bean blended with Arabica. To be told that the suppliers to the Beans Coffee Club only use Arabica beans as they are a better quality bean, was disappointing on two counts. (1) Not all cultivations of Robusta are poor quality, although in general it is lower grade and mostly used for cheaper products. (2) Evidently it would appear that my preference is for a lower grade of taste - hmmm, not sure I'd agree with that. So, if you can make a fine distinction between different presentations of Arabica coffee beans, then the Beans Coffee Club is for you. The club certainly provides an easy way to try Arabica based coffees from around the World with a comprehensive resume of each.

Personally I use the beans to make latte coffees and I have to admit I like a stronger coffee to the ones I have tried . But it’s a great idea to try all sorts of different coffees

The coffee we got was kind of weak and lightly roasted, so we ended up getting a sour tasting cup from it

Cancelled second free batch not to my liking. First and second grind were different in granular size with there being no option for returns ie you either like it or not I guess I’’m not into chucking ~£8 in the in every 2weeks No complaint about service I’m just go to stick to a coffe I know I like rather than feelin trendy “oh get a different coffee every week” lol

The beans were very sharp. I prefer a milder coffee flavour

Really good idea and nice coffee but I just can't justify paying £7.99 for 250g of beans when I can get the same amount for less than half that price in Tesco! Maybe it doesn't taste as good but in these times a saving is a saving!!

Dear Rate Beans As Covid has altered my taste buds I am sure that I cannot evaluate the beans accurately....so the beans freshly ground by me taste like a good cup of coffee, so at least I have nothing negative to say. If this changes, then I will be sure to let you know. I imagine from your keen interest in wanting to provide quality, encourages me.

Unfortunately, the beans I ordered were out of stock, though the payment had been processed (later I got a refund). Also, there is no shipping and delivery information on the website, so until I directly asked about the delivery, I didn't know when to expect the parcel. As for the coffee it hasn't been shipped yet, so I can't yet comment on that.

Maybe a bit too perfumed for me. A better if made strong and left to brew for longer.
