“Just bought the 'Mystery Case' and as much as i like to try different beers from anywhere, i'm sure i would never have come across some of these. It's going to give me a bit of inspiration to a bit more 'semi blind' tasting of some of the numerous beers available. Also bought a dozen glasses which came robustly packaged and in perfect order.”

“First time of ordering from Beer Hawk about a week ago. Excellent service..very impressed..! I ordered on Thursday, delivered on Saturday. I didn't have a problem, so I didn't need to contact the team, but I feel sure had I needed to, any problem would be resolved painlessly. Their keg prices are comparable with French & Belgian stores and I know because I live in East Kent and frequently hop over the ditch to shop. Looks like I won't need to any more. I'm yet to try the FREE keg return system, but there are plenty of drop-off points within a mile or two of my home. It looks simple enough - even for me..! Thanks Beer Hawk Team Cheers...!!!”

“I ordered some beers as a gift for my dad. I live in Australia and was delighted to find a couple of Aussie brands that I could send him so I was ok with paying the premium price for them for a birthday treat. However I wasn't happy when they arrived and had an expiration date within 2 weeks and was quite upset to hear that when he contacted you he was told that you didn't see it as an issue and didn't offer a replacement. Luckily the brewery here in Melbourne was more understanding and have arranged a replacement. If you're going to charge a premium price for your product and also be a business that survives on repeat purchases and recommendations, surely you should have premium customer service to match. Fobbing off a man in his 70's for the sake of re-sending six beers is ridiculous. Won't be using you again and won't be recommending your site.”

Thanks for your feedback Rebecca. I'm sorry you weren't happy that we couldn't send out replacements to your Dad, but the stock we hold would have all had the same dates on them as they would have been part of the same delivery. I understand he spoke to one of my colleagues & they explained the situation, sorry you felt like we were just fobbing him off. Cheers, Hannah

“Out of date beer delivered (not a 'mystery' box). You need to review your quality control procedures, pretty basic stuff. That was my first and last online beer order. A lesson learned and I will buy from a retailer where I can see the product I am buying in future.”

Really sorry there was an issue with one of the beers in your case. I understand you spoke to one of my colleagues & she instantly arranged a refund for the out of date beer with our apologies. We do try & keep a quality check on the dates of our beers, but this one unfortunately got missed. Cheers, Hannah
