Thanks for the review Mark - apologies there was an issue with delivery. Despite our best efforts on packaging, we do unfortunately get a few breakages from time to time. Our strict policy is for the box to be returned to our warehouse & we dispatch a fresh case of beer in its place.

“BOUTIQUE BEER; What a great service, I ordered them Sunday afternoon and they were delivered on Tuesday afternoon! Was more than pleased with the selection, as we had been to one of the breweries on holiday this year in Bamberg, Germany and remarked how good it was. This is how I know that a search had been made for the best beers from around the world.....Thank you Beer Hawk”

“Was pretty disappointed with the selection of beers that arrived, one bottle is covered in dust so looks like it has just been pulled from the back of the shelf. Granted I got my crate of 8 beers through my east coast rewards scheme it states that I would receive beers from the "forefront of America’s craft beer revolution; Anchor, Goose Island and Brooklyn breweries"; I received one American beer from Chicago, the rest were from Scotland, Derbyshire, Austria and Belgium. Won't be claiming my points for this again.”

“Fantastic service, clear website. Pricey delivery charge, but worth it as was kept informed the whole process, when te package was on the way, and it ended up outside my flat door when I came home the next day. Very quick and very good. Excellent.”

“Having been very satisfied with Beerhawk in the past I was very disappointed with the latest delivery. A sodden box was delivered, upon closer inspection it was clear that a bottle had been broken and the broken bottle had been removed. The box had been re taped and no effort made to provide a replacement.”

Thanks for pointing this out to us - we were unaware of this issue, as this is in clear breach of our delivery policy. Despite our best efforts on packaging, we do unfortunately get a few breakages from time to time. Under 0.5% of our deliveries are affected, but if one is, our strict policy is for the box to be returned to our warehouse, and we dispatch a fresh case of beers in its place. It seems that, for whatever reason, this policy wasn't followed by the driver. We've now sorted this, and I'm pleased that you've got your beers along with a credit at our store to put this right.
