Brilliant finish. Betta living were the only company that could come up with a design for the awkward space we have in the loft. Pleased with the overall service received from all at each stage of the process.

Hi I am Chris's mum who actually had the furniture fitted. I was very satisfied with the sales person who visited my home, the surveyor was okay and the fitter was superb. But the delivery aspect of your service was total rubbish and chaotic. I was told my order would be delivered on a particular day, I took the day off work and was then informed that the goods would not be delivered on that day at all, as the driver hadn't turned in. This was a Friday and the fitter was arriving on the Monday morning at 8.00 to start the job. I asked if the delivery could be made on the Saturday so that it would be in place for the fitter and was asked if 9.00 on the Saturday morning was okay with me, which was fine. I waited, and waited - 9.00, 10.00 - still no delivery. Phoned someone at 10.30 to ask where it was. 11.00 still no delivery and as I was due out to an appointment was leaving my house at 11.20 to be greeted by the delivery driver. Only ONE delivery person to unload my large order (my son and daughter in law actually helped unload) as we had an appointment at 12.00 - but we were still late for that appointment. Not good ! I was then out on the Saturday for the rest of the day. However, I received a phone call on my mobile at 3.30 from the delivery driver who said he had forgotten to deliver a full pallet of goods to my house and wondered if he could deliver it. As you can imagine I was NOT happy and told him that he couldn't and it would have to be delivered first thing on the Monday morning. WHAT A TOTAL SHAMBLES - this totally stressed me out. The fitter arrived promptly on the Monday morning, at 8.00, and was updated on the delivery situation. The fitter was your saving grace - he was superb - had there been any problems with this aspect of the job I would have sent in a complaint and requested compensation for the day I took off work to accept the delivery and then it didn't arrive. I was also on the verge of cancelling the whole order. Perhaps you should still consider some compensation for the shambles of two days Friday and Saturday 14th and 15th August. Fitters were great. Tidy and thorough. Even helped me when I needed advice on the design. Would recommend .

Showroom staff very efficient and attentive.Bedroom selected and onto our first home visit.My wife and I were both very disappointed with the "double glazing" approach to giving us an acceptable quotation..........we much prefer a straight and honest cost of our selection instead of inflated prices heavily discounted. Our fitter,Peter Battey,was fantastic!...........early starter,very tidy and polite and spent time with us on completion to go through every detail. We came to BL by way of recommendation to be told our friends would receive a £250 "thank you".In the showroom we were told that would be made by vouchers against your showroom website but told it would be "cash" by your first salesman.Your own documentation states "by cheque"...confusing!!! At the end of the day we would be happy to recommend Betta Living to our friends. Malcolm& Freda Rutherford.

The fitter and delivery people were all nice and friendly. The quality of the work done by fitter especially was good and the general service provided by Betta Living was a good standard.

Sales process - frustrating and "old-fashioned" Under pressure to place order immediately to take advantage of ridiculously high discounts; random calls to Manager to agree further discounts; all very rushed and got the overall design wrong. Survey process - excellent. Corrected the sales rep errors and spent the time necessary to get the design right. Very knowledgeable and willing to discuss ideas and alternatives to improve the purchase. Delivery process - excellent Quick delivery with dates agreed by phone and adhered to. All items off-loaded and placed in the room ready for the fitters. Fitting process - absolutely brilliant Skilled, tidy and first class-craftsmanship cannot fault at all. Payment process - unnecessarily longwinded. 4 stage process. Pay the sales rep a deposit. Pay for the materials prior to delivery. Pay the surveyor and pay the fitters. Overall This is the 2nd time I have used Betta Living and despite the tortuous sales and payment processes I would recommend them. They are not the cheapest but the quality of the goods and the fitting are well worth the extra money.

I came across Betta Living whilst visiting the Thurrock Retail Park. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I arranged for a design consultation and was booked on 6 May 2015, with Tinu Owolabi. Tinu arrived promptly at the allotted time and was extremely professional throughout the appointment. Tinu provided me with an array of choices, whilst ensuring my design ideas were taken into consideration. Tinu worked tirelessly in order to ensure all finer details were covered (my appointment finished quite late!) I would not hesitate in recommending Betta Living. The second phase took place at the beginning of July and Betta Living advised that it would take roughy 3-4 days to fit as I had wardrobes fitted in two rooms. I have had wardrobes fitted by other companies, I would like to point out that the thing which sets Betta Living ahead of other companies is that they include the inside "backs" of their wardrobes, thus giving a completely finished look. My final comment is in relation to the cost, as I do think they are slightly over-priced. It would be good if these costs were reduced somewhat in future. Other than that, Betta Living is a great company and provides a good service.

I was a returning customer to Betta Living and chose an economy product in the range on this occasion, however I was delighted to see this did not mean skimping on quality and fit. The services of the Surveyor and Fitter were excellent and they ensured they delivered what I actually wanted. The fitting service was quick, slick and tidy, making it a pleasure to have this service in my house. I now look forward to many years of pleasure in having built-in wardrobes in two bedrooms and I would not hesitate to recommend Betta Living to anyone looking to enhance their bedrooms.

Our initial contact was extremely good from meeting with the designer to formalising the final measurements for our design both appointments were booked and arranged at our convenience. Unfortunately the fitter did not arrive on the due date because transport failed to deliver the materials. We were not informed until the morning of the fitting. A second appointment for fitting was made but the materials still hadn't arrived on site by the evening of the appointed day. Eventually after making yet another complaint and threatening to withdraw the order the materials arrived onsite at 7:30 am. One driver had been dispatched to deliver the materials by which time the Fitter had arrived whom kindly helped the driver unload. The Fitter did a superb job within the time constraints, but he was a contractor after all. Get your act together Betta living and manage your departments more effectively I lost 2 days pay from work as a result of your poor management. Denise Kind

Great quality product and a great installed finish. Would have given this a top rating if it wasn't for the fact that my sister who referred us on the referral scheme still has not received her money.

We have not had furniture fitted yet so feel this questionnaire is a bit premature. So far the only issue is that we were told by the designer that we pay when the work is completed after being asked for full payment we checked the paperwork and realised that money was required 2 weeks prior to fitting. We feel that the designer did not make this clear

Consultant was good, took 4 hours to customise and thrash out a price. The fitter was very good except he drove across my lawn! Leaving tyre tracks. The bedroom looks great but the doors close weirdly ie close nearly then need another push to close fully.

The finished bedroom was excellent, but the chips and marks on the wall and ceiling could have been avoided by the delivery team.

FISHER (B64102) - Fitters Ken & Tommy This is the 2nd time I have used Betta Living to fit a bedroom and the experience has been the same both times. The rating would be 5* (very good) but the sales side badly lets the company down overall. In summary the sales process is frustrating and poor, the product is high quality and the fitting is excellent. Ken & Tommy fitted my first purchase and I specifically requested them again due to their top quality workmanship. The sales process is like 1970's double-glazing at its worst. Hugely inflated "full" prices with massive discounts on offer and telephone calls to Managers to offer further discounts. Once you get through all of that the process is much better - detailed survey, finalised order, delivery and installation are efficient, simple, prompt and first class. Ken & Tommy are excellent fitters - communicative, neat, clean, tidy and skilled workmen that produce a first class end product. Betta Living is not the cheapest but the furniture offered, the flexibility of design and the fitting make it a stand out choice overall.

B62541 excellent service apart from the delivery of the wardrobes. They should have been delivered Tuesday for fitting Wednesday. When they did not arrive I was told by the delivery company that the driver had ran out of driving time, very unprofessional. The fitter arrived on the Wednesday morning bright and early but alas the delivery did not arrive until 10.30 which meant the fitter waiting for over two hours. Simon the fitter was very professional and did an excellent job of the fitting and clearing up but he could have been finished much earlier if the delivery had been on time. Unfortunately the delivery service is letting the company down. N Kennedy
