“Ordered the bbr f -zero kit with engine. Unpacked it, nuts screws & washers littered in the bottom, no clue what other small parts fell through the box hole. Seat had small tear. Rear brake caliper was connected to the bike & was busted. Seriously no parts list, no manual you have to watch incomplete videos from a bikeberry guy who probably gets better patrs & pieces. Rear wheel must be missing a spacer or it wouldn't get sucked and jammed into the disk brake. Motor does not fit correctly unless maybe you buy the special bracket. "Racing" Air filter touches Frame and way to close to the tank petcock. Gas cap no doubt would have future issues fits like garbage. Everytime you touch the bike paint comes right off 😆. Aluminum frame pretty useless. Emailed twice, no response. Don't, waste hard earned money on that thing, basically like throwing money in the trash. Had better luck with cheap Huffy frames.”
“It's been a complete nightmare from the beginning. I have never been able to make this thing start. I bought a kit from this company, and paid a little more, because I assumed they must have better customer service, since their prices are higher. I'm pretty disappointed, cause the motor still leaks, and won't start, and they haven't done anything to help besides tell me it's my fault. Maybe they're right. I even told him it was probably my fault, and he still just keeps telling me that, even after I agreed with him. Thanks guys.”
“My 16 year old saved to be able to buy an engine for his bike.. according to the sites measurement information the engine he bought should have fit his bike.... it didn't, so he purchased the recommended mountain bike on bikeberry that was a two week wait. The engine fit barely but after recieveing the bike he had to order a special mounting bracket that wasn't mentioned by customer service. Another 2 week wait later... we got it all put together only to find out the cdi is a dud... so again to customer service who said they were sending another.. 2 weeks later still have not received it and was just told its on back order til??? If you want a chance to return or exchange make sure right out of the box you test the cdi with an ohm meter because once the engine has been mounted they won't let you return it. My poor kid has spent over 600 dollars on a paper weight.”
“Defective product, missing, parts, lousy assembly directions, and horrible customer service. They never refunded what they said they would, they never remediated the missing parts or the defective manufacturing, and now they are completely ignoring me. I've spent hundreds of dollars for a bike that is still lying in pieces on my living room floor months later. It cannot be assembled due to manufacturing defects which have been photographed and sent to them as they requested. Later I found another site of reviews for this company - all of them terrible and with similar complaints to my own. Don't trust this company for online sales!”
“DO NOT BUY from bikeberry.com! Bad policy=bad customer satisfaction. I purchased a bike for $630 and it arrived defective due to the front fork being bent to the point of not being able to even put the front tire on. So, not even being able to ride the bike you'd think that they would exchange the bike for customer satisfaction...NOPE! Seems customers satisfaction is not a priority. I have all chat transcripts, saved and on file, from 3 different days trying to get this resolved. I have photos of the defect and the packaging it was shipped in. The packaging was perfect on arrival but in one of the chats they tried to say shipping could’ve damaged it even though photos were already sent. In the first chat log, they wouldn't provide me with a return authorization. They do/say whatever they feel even if it’s not accurate/true. Also, their return policy page states that they will refund or exchange a defective PRODUCT, and after 5 days of normal use. Remind you, I wasn't able to even test it for 5 days because its defective beyond rideable out the box. So what did they do? They state that the fork will be replaced because that's the defective "product", and that their warranty policy will override their return policy..HUH? Here's the issue: I did not buy the fork as the "product", I purchased a brand new bike as the product. The fork happens to be a part of the bike but again I did not buy a fork. I spent $630 for a bike, NOT A FORK. At this point, I’ve had enough, I’ll NEVER purchase from Bikeberry.com again. We’ll see if they honor their 1 year warranty if the need arises. So, they send the fork, and now I'm responsible for replacing the fork and fixing a brand new bike that I haven't even rode yet. I also had to disassemble the front brake just to be able to transfer it over to the new fork, it’s been a complete headache. Bikeberry.com has awful customer satisfaction policy and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHOPPING ELSEWHERE! They didn’t even offer any compensation for the hassle…TERRIBLE!”
