Only the instructor in the car, and he decided to cut us off while being completely oblivious. We were not in his blind spot either. Then afterwards completely ignored us

I would stay away from this company especially if you are to become a driving instructor and if you have customers queries, they don't want to know. Read the T&Cs first before if you are still willing to go ahead. They gave me bogus info on my rights especially on cancellation and took my payment and said they will forward me the T&Cs afterwards. Now they won't attend to my emails and phonecalls. Very unprofessional and my case is still ongoing.

Nearly got run off a roundabout by female driving instructor by Carshalton boys , I had clear right of way and she gave me a mouth full . If that’s the standard keep well clear

Research before choosing a driving school please so annoying I got my daughter a gift voucher for her 18th Birthday last August, I did it on line thinking it would be easier Bill Plant had an instructor in the next road to me so I thought that would be perfect, I rang up a leased once a month the check the availability I ask them what would happen when the gift voucher ran out 🤔 I was told that it would be our fault so we would have to issue an extension February came (which was 6 months) I rang up and they would only issue me with another month, I was told my the lady I spoke to Elizabeth that she was going to send a shout out to all the instructors in the Old Swan Liverpool area, I was far from happy because they were quick enough to take my money when they could’ve told me there was no availability before I waited 7 months still no joy luckily to cut a long story short I did get my refund however this was an 18th Birthday present, I still have to start again from scratch

My partner has been having lessons with Bill Plant for over a year. He was due to have his test at the end of January 2024, but 3 days before was informed by his instructor (after he did not reply to texts for over a week) that he had been sacked by the company due to having a mental breakdown after the sudden loss of his Brother, resulting in my partner being unable to reschedule his test as the deadline had just passed. Bill Plant was also unable to find him another instructor which he had to chase for himself and was not informed at any point by the instructor or company of this to prevent this until it was too late. After numerous phone calls and emails to the customer service (with hour long waits and promised call backs that never happened, excuse was they have too many complaints to deal with) he has now been told they refuse to refund him the cost of his test even though he missed it due to no fault of his own only theirs and after spending hundreds of pounds learning in a car he will not drive again. My partner has also now been left with no driving instructor and months wait before he can redo his test. Disgusting customer service, clearly treat their customers just as bad as their instructors and just want your money. A decent company would just refund what was owed, accept fault and profusely apologise for the inconvenience caused but none of this has been received. Driving school of the year - voted by who?

Utter waste of time. There instructor's never responded to my daughters messages to book lessons even though she had paid in advance. Complained to there main head office about the instructor covering PL13 2JP area. was told someone would follow this up??? no response.

Where can can I start. My 2 sons were taking lessons with Bill Plant driving school, We didn't realise it was a franchise but it is. The guy who started to teach my lads let us down constantly. Ringing 30mins before lessons to re arrange and then letting us down completely and not making it at all, The worst incident was when we booked our youngest sons test and agreed the time with the instructor, only to be told by him just before the driving exam that he had decided to go on holiday so we couldn't use the car for the exam! Another occasion he was on the way to pick my lad up for a lesson and then text him to say he was sick. Then a few days later it transpired he had gone to watch the match. Finally we re booked the exam and also booked a second test for my other son. The instructor then informed us that something had gone on with his licence has been suspended and he was not able or willing to do any more lessons ! We contacted Bill Plant directly and asked if they could sort out a car for my lads tests as they were used to the cars Bill Plant teach in. They told us there was nothing they could do. This was after paid them a good couple of thousand pound in lesson fees. Absolutely disgraceful company with no regard for pupils whatsoever. All they are after is the money off you

Dave, operating in the Rotherham area just told me I can’t use his car a week before my test and when i said I could delay it a bit, this wasn’t good enough and told me to find a new driving instructor.

I booked 10 lessons for my daughter, no one contacted her within 48 hours, she went on line afterwards and was told someone will contact within 24 hours, no one called, we called and where told another person will contact us in 48 hours, no thanks, they refunded my entirely

Thieves thieves thieves don’t use billplants they are thieves they scammed me of £74.99. DO NOT USE BILLPLANT THEY ARE THIEVES I PAID ON THE 18th of FEBRUARY TILL NOW I CANT GET MY MONEY BACK

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Absolute worst company for driving lessons Instructor Greg is the worst he turns up late or doesn't turn up at all after you sit there waiting! No message no phone call. Quick to take your money tho off course. Carried on having lessons because I just wanted to pass and didn't want any messing and now I get no reply from the Absolute eye sore Instructor, company is soul draining. Also barely learn anything it's a joke surprised this company is still going.

Rude instructor, use to shout in the lesson,he use to compare with his hood learners and he use to come half an hour late for the driving lesson. Waste of money.

Absolutely shocking I rang in December to arrange lessons they said I would hear back in 48hours which took a week n 3 more phone calls, I then arrange lessons with Danielle for the 8th of January she never showed up an I got a text half hour after my lesson to say she had a family emergency an was in the hospital an could we re arrange for the week after which I thought yeah totally fine the following week she never shown up again an text again after my lesson time saying she was in hospital. I've sent endless screenshots so many phone calls n miraculously the instructor is still in hospital so they can't confirm I've not had a lesson even though the messages prove otherwise. Since all this has happened I've had 4 lessons with 4wheels and got my test booked

From Hull : Extremely Unprofessional and Rude Instructor at Bill Plant Driving School As a father, I am utterly disappointed with the service provided by the driving instructor, Stacey Verity, from Bill Plant Driving School. My daughter experienced frequent cancellations on Stacey's part. After numerous irregular cancellations, we decided to pay 24 hours prior to each 2-hour class (£70). However, on one instance (yesterday, 12/02/2024), I made a payment (£70) within 14 hours of the scheduled class on 13/02/2024. Despite this, Stacey refused to conduct the class and insisted on charging my daughter for it. This is despite the fact that I made a timely payment and had not initiated any cancellations myself. Not only was Stacey unprofessional in her handling of the situation, but she was also rude when requested to refund for the class that was not conducted as agreed upon. It is unacceptable for an instructor to retain payment for services not rendered, especially when the cancellation was not the fault of the customer. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by Stacey. I urge others to be cautious when booking classes with Bill Plant Driving School, as my experience with their instructor has been nothing short of disappointing

Stay way from this scamers I have payed £335 deposit for driving instructor course and after couple of days I decided to cancel but they refused to give money back they never answered on the phone I have to wait 45min to speak to someone and then they pas to another person and another person and another person no one cares about you when they got the money

What a terrible company, customer service is not good. Quick enough to take your money but can not deliver the instructors. Everything they say is 48 hrs, waited a week for anyone to contact me. Don't use this company!!!!!!

From day one, Bill Plant has done nothing but lie and make excuses for the poor quality of the business. It is run purely as a training provider for unqualified driving instructors. If you want a fully qualified instructor, don't go to Bill Plant.

Instructor 1/5, Sham Mushtaq, Harrogate/Leeds areas. In my experience with the driving instructor, there were several issues that left me dissatisfied. Firstly, there was an unexplained gap of 8 weeks without any lessons, and I only received an explanation when I approached him. Despite my consistent availability for 6 out of those 8 weeks due to unemployment, he attributed the lack of lessons to my schedule. This contradicted his initial promise to ensure consistent lessons. Additionally, the instructor was aware of the urgency for me to pass my test quickly but could not provide regular lessons. Eventually, I had to request a full refund, which took almost a week to process. Overall, the lack of transparency, unfulfilled promises, and inconvenience led to a negative experience with this instructor. Absolutely wasted my money and time. Clearly has a habit of taking on more than he is able to handle, said he had 35 students. I feel like I have been scammed. Do not recommend, read the other review with this instructor who also gave a 1/5 rating.

Waste of time A refund doesn't happen, need to go though my bank. Customer service is a non existence joke I would never recommend them
