I found the process of using a gift card very poor. Took days to credit my visa the amount that was going on the gift card. The gift card amount should have come off at the time of purchase not days later.

We have shared your frustration with the use of Gift Cards for a long time and apologize. Gift Card transactions are a major reason why we have recently moved to a new credit card processor. They have a different back end system and have committed to work with us to eliminate the Gift Card payment conflict. We will be implementing the new Gift Card processing component in the very near future, and hope you will remain a binnacle.com customer. The feedback you and others provide drives change, and we welcome it.

I ordered 40 ft of 3/16 in Dyneema and received 1/4 in. No big deal, advised them, they will send 3/16 in.

Hi Stuart, I see your order was shipped Nov 30 by UPS and still has not been delivered as of Dec 12. I will contact UPS and follow up with you by email. Thanks for letting me know

Initial order was missing one of the charts, even though the invoice clearly stated all the charts ordered. Some charts (brand new!) had slight tears and small dog eared corners. Clearly, the charts could have been better packed in the triangular UPS shipping container and extra attention paid to check the order was complete. After I received the missing chart (which was promptly shipped and received two days later) it was clear the chart roll was much better protected and Binnacle had taken extra care in shipping the missing chart. In the end, the charts for our journey will be well used and the well detailed information will be invaluable. Thanks Binnacle for promptly correcting the order.
