Ordered and then realized they use ground shipping. Could have been airshipped. Small item. Disappointed

We provide all of the shipping information in the shipping tab of each product page. I am sorry if you assumed it was shipping air but nothing in our shipping information would suggest that. We provide estimated shipping times for each province and for Alberta it shows 4 -5 business days. Unfair rating because we did not nothing wrong

I received the parcel which was great BUT unfortunately, the product was in a backorder situation. This caused much concern for the delivery date. I had originally started a standard delivery method when ordered which was over a month lead time BUT the order status did not allow sufficient time before haul out. Expediting the shipment would have solved this timing issue. I got the delivery 2 days after haul out. I had to go back to packing my stuffing box via the old method but would have enjoyed the Dripless system better. So, now what to do with this Dripless Seal is the question.

Hi, I just checked your tracking number and it shows that your package is out for delivery today which is on time delivery according to UPS. When we ship an order we email the tracking number to the customer so you can follow the progress. If you did not receive the tracking number please email us.

Hi, I just checked your tracking number it it shows your package was delivered this morning. If you did not get it please email us. We email a tracking number to each customer when the order ships so that they can check the progress. Your package was delivered 1 day later than scheduled due to the COVID-19 disruptions taking place in the country. This is indicated on the UPS website tracking screen

I called on a Sunday to place an order. I was advised it was best to place my order online as it would then be addressed and filled Monday morning. The website said I would be notified right away if an item was not in stock, to see if I wanted to delay delivery of the overall order to wait for the out of stock item. I also checked on line and every item I ordered was showing as in stock on the website. My order was not filled until Friday, after I called to ask about the status of the order, having not received any shipping info. The order was waiting on one part. I was not notified. Very disappointing as my sailboat launch was delayed unnecessarily while waiting for the bottom paint. Very frustrating. I think customers count on reliably of service more than price differential or shipping costs. That should be your priority. On the positive side, on realizing the error, you did ship the goods high priority, at no extra cost to me. Thank you for doing that.

Screw was past tight and ripped the seal on the valve. Defective from the start. Very disappointed.

Everything was very good until I went to install the navionics card, the card will not fit the dragonfly 5pro. Card is to big , it is the Raymarine navionics+bundle. MSD/NEB - 3/R1 I need help.

Hi Gerard, the card is a MicroSD/SD card which means the Micro card (the size of your baby fingernail) is inside the larger SD card. You just have to use your thumbnail to pull it out. I will email you a picture.

The product I purchased did not arrive as expected. I expected a coastal PFD which was suitable for coastal sailing and ISAF (World Sailing) compliant. The PFD delivered did not have the leg harness that would make it compliant. The photo of the product listed an optional leg harness. I was under the impression the harness was an optional inclusion not another product which can optionally be purchased especially since I could find no such item for purchase on the Binnacle website. My options are to keep it and try to find a leg harness at a cost undetermined or return the PFD at my expense. Overall unfortunately, it has left me wary of ordering from Binnacle in the future.

Hi, thanks you for your feedback. This is the first time I have had this complaint about this PFD so I carefully checked the product description and pictures. The description does not say a leg strap is included. In one picture there is a small insert showing the leg strap and it is clearly marked as "Optional" which means not included. We sell a lot of these PFDs and have only had a couple of requests for the optional leg strap so we do not stock it. As always you are welcome to return the item if you are not satisfied.

The "Binnacle" portion of this experience was fine. The shipping portion however, was abysmal! If you have any choice in the matter, NEVER have anything shipped UPS, they are, by far, the worst company, shipping or otherwise, that we have ever dealt with.... and for that reason alone, we will never buy from Binnacle.com again.

I had two problems with this order, the Labrador cruising guide had to be rebind as the holes in the pages were not done properly. The cruising guide for nova scotia, being a 2019 edition, did not cover the areas mentioned on the store website (west pei and madeleines). First time I am not fully satisfied with my purchase at the Binnacle. I decided to keep the items I got as it was easier to have the book binding redone locally and the NS cruising guide still has some information that might be useful down the road.

What I received is not what I ordered and it appears that the site has now been changed so the product I wanted is no longer shown. If Binnacle wants to make substitutions then they should contact the customer. I now have 2 coils of rope that are unsuitable and about 5,000 km. and a lot of expense to get back.
