I ordered 40 Begonia plug plants from Blooming Direct.When they arrived they had been squashed into a narrow plastic box -and bent by the postman. When I opened this box many leaves and stems were broken off .I managed to save only 15 plants out of the 40! (and to be honest I am not sure that they will survive!) I contacted Blooming Direct twice but they never had the decency to reply. I understand that they are very busy during the Corona Virus but this is not good enough ! I have purchased other plug plants this year and they were in a similar plastic box but then they had an outer cardboard box for protection .I will never use this company again .Poor customer services and poor packaging.

Still awaiting plants ordered through Wowcher, I did expect a delay, however I did expect my queries to be responded to, wowcher were not interested and told me i had to go through the merchant website which appears to be closed.

Where do I start. Placed an order on line due to ‘Lock-down’ on 17th April. Wanted to add 2 additional items to order but was told this was not possible. 7 days later received an email confirming the 2 items had been added to my order and the money had beef debited from my account. Rang them on the high tariff number explaining I had sourced the items from another company. Got a refund after a bit of a struggle. As for the original order still awaiting delivery. They have clearly taken on too many orders and are unable to offer a creditable service. Have today emailed the company insisting on a full refund if plants are not delivered by Wednesday (21 days from order)

Hi Don't order from this company! Placed a £75 order with them and only the compost arrived, no plants. It's now more than a month and nothing. No response to emails and no-one answering the phone. Absolutely shocking!

Ordered on 31st March still waiting for delivery, customer service is non excitent and a Premier rate phone number which I was not aware of until the bill came. I have now contacted PayPal to refund my money. I understand we are in an unprecedented situation but just an email to let us know what's happening would go a long way. Just ignoring the customer makes them nervous.

Placed an order on 1 April...realised there would be a delay in the circumstances....money taken from my account on 8 April...heard nothing further...emailed ..no response...website now closed! I think this is disgraceful service..

Ordered from this company because of lockdown. Despite the high price, we waited a long time for delivery. Wrong product! They are difficult to contact. We wait in hope of a reply from them.

I feel better off than some of the other unfortunate buyers but, even so, my stress levels were sky-high trying to deal with this company. No replies to any emails and, as already mentioned, I ran up high bills in trying to get through by phone. I waited patiently for 21 days and then started to wonder what was happening. By 31 days after my initial order, I realized there was something major amiss and escalated my complaint. The company should not have taken on more orders than they could manage: it seems unfair on all the people waiting for their goods to arrive, causing anxiety in an already awful situation. I was lucky enough to have paid by a method which meant I could get a refund quite quickly.

A week after placing order I received a letter regarding a discrepancy asking me to phone. The phone number listed was chargeable but this was not acknowledged on letter and after three unanswered calls to the number my regular phone bill had an additional £12 of premium rate calls. When I approached Blooming Direct to ask if they would cover the phone charges they patronisingly wrote that their contact details are clearly stated on their website where there is also a freephone number (but this was not mentioned on the letter!) No product, £12 hard up and 2hrs of calls and emails wasted. Very bad customer service. Avoid!

Similar experience to other reviewers. I placed an order on 8/4/20. Chased two weeks later and received automated response to say allow 21 days due to current situation. Tried again after this deadline to be met with nowhere to go. Please can someone help. I only ordered from this site as a result of seeing it on MSE email. I am owed plants or £35 which ever Blooming Direct wish to give me first

BUYER BEWARE. Do not buy from this company. Ordered goods on 28/2/20 but 3 weeks later only part of order arrived - after I complained. Never received rest of order. Sent numerous emails - no response. Telephone number - premium rate only and you are left in on hold for ages whilst they take your money in telephone charges and no one ever answers. They owe me approx £80 - sent email cancelling rest of order and asking for refund - no response. It’s a Scam!!

BUYER BEWARE! Do not use this company- it’s a total rip off. Ordered on 29/03/20, compost arrived approx 3 weeks later after complaining but no plants. I am owed approx £60 for plants. Sent numerous email but only get automated response and no one answers phone. Sent email cancelling order and requesting refund of my money but no response again. Customer service is non existent. Think this company is a scam.

Ordered on the 4/4 - cancelled the compost part of the order which they confirmed but did not refund any money. Still haven’t received the plants and no response to loads of emails. Sent email cancelling my order - no response 😡😡

Ordered on the 31st March. Customer service is appalling, they don't answer the phone, they don't reply to emails. Sales staff try to help but even they can't access my account. I was told I might receive my order this week. Terrible service. All other online nurseries have been amazing in the current crisis. Will now contact the retail ombudsmen. Courtesy goes a long way!

RIP off. Ordered 5th April still nothing and number ringing out or hanging up on you. No reply to my emails. I will be contacting my back this evening to charge their bank - can be used if you have used debit card. I want my £80 back! I’ve been ripped off.
