Hugely Disappointed. Have bought from them in previous years and been satisfied, but this year has been terrible. They seem completely unable to estimate accurate dispatch times and stick to them. I get the impression that they are one of those companies that over-do the marketing and take as many orders as they can, without having to resources to fulfil them. Very frustrating and means that we simply will never order from them again.

Ordered 3 bags of compost March 29th and paid £44.94 which included my FREE delivery of £17.97. As of April 20th composted had not arrived. I made numerous phone calls and sent emails chasing my order until eventually someone did answer and told me, my order had not been processed. I was told I would have to wait another 21 days for the delivery. This was not acceptable so I cancelled my order. A full refund was promised within 5 working days. Since I cancelled my order I have had to make more phone calls and send more emails to get my refund. Eventually I received a refund on JUNE 1st. To my astonishment the cost of my phone calls, chasing my delivery then refund cost me £48.05. So ,ordering 3 bags of compost which I didn't receive cost me £48.05. Was Blooming Direct sympathetic? NO This company should be investigated by Trading Standards.

Order two trees through wowcher, this was about 3 to 4 weeks ago, never arrived. Some direct to customer services who said Yodel couldn't find me. I gave my contact details to blooming direct who apparently shared with Yodel... no call no plants, requested a refund but no response, plants will be dead by now. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase through wowcher or Blooming Direct

Blooming direct are suppose to be supplying my 2 fuchsia trees whom I ordered though living social another usless company who have been payed have been chasing them for over 3wks said order was with blooming direct would be delivered 21 June wount hold my breath first and last time will deal with them ,advice do not deal with wowcher,living social our blooming direct bottom feeders that all thay are

Absolute rubbish as a firm dealing with public, I feel they must be related to Plant Store who are also thieves via Wowcher.

My order went in on 20 April. I accepted that in the difficult circumstances of lockdown delivery would take longer than usual. I was told up to 21 days. It has been 28 days and no sign of any delivery. All e mails get an automated response saying that it could take up t 21 days. No answer when trying to phone them despite the automated message saying that someone would respond in 15 seconds. Al in all a very poor service.

I understand that during the covid virus it was difficult for firms to deliver goods. Having said that it was over a month before I got my order. When it arrived the plant plugs were in a terrible condition and have only been able to use 35 plug plants out of 80. The packaging was fine so it was not to do with that. The plants looked badly looked after.

Ordered took 6 weeks to arrive. I appreciate it’s difficult times but really feel this company has over stretched themselves. Emailed to chase and never received a response, eventually got through on the phone and said my order would be dispatched within a week. It arrived this weekend and I am hugely disappointed. Such poor value. The plug plants are tiny and virtually dead. One perennial which cost £7 looks very poor. Such a waste of money. I certainly won’t be placing another order and wouldn’t recommend anyone else does.

My bank (used debit card) charged this company’s bank for my full refund, surprise 24 hours later I get a personal email saying they’re on way. All come dry and just thrown in a box and half dead. Plugs were just loose, some could’ve even be saved. Japanese anemones meant to be 9cm are about 1cm and look like a little leaf poking out of the soil where I’ve planted them. Awful awful service. AVOID.

Firstly, the Freephone number for this Company is 0800 9558 558. Ordered 80 plug plants 35 days ago. Received today (Tuesday)after being sent out on Thursday. Amazed any are still alive after 5days in transit! 69 plugs arrived in various states, the rest was empty compost. Needed a magnifying glass to see the Petunias and better packaging all round, so they don't fall out and get crushed like mine. No point complaining, they have not replied to my emails thus far in the process! When I rang to enquire where my delivery was I was told "There is a worldwide pandemic on you know". Really?!! Will not use this company again, they overstretched themselves and the quality has suffered. The main lesson learned is to check several review sites before ordering, amazing how reviews can differ! My experience has been consistant with the other recent reviews on this site.

Placed an order on 8th April. Confirmation of order received saying delivery would be 7-10 days. Nothing received almost a month later, emails only get an automated reply saying delivery will take 21 days.....and to only chase orders after that time, further email queries receive exactly the same response! Completely useless customer service.....suggest people shop for their plants elsewhere.

Demand is obviously too much for this company, shut down the website, stop taking orders and fill the orders that have already been paid for, no response to emails and premium rate phone number which leaves you on hold indefinitely.

I ordered 40 Begonia plug plants from Blooming Direct.When they arrived they had been squashed into a narrow plastic box -and bent by the postman. When I opened this box many leaves and stems were broken off .I managed to save only 15 plants out of the 40! (and to be honest I am not sure that they will survive!) I contacted Blooming Direct twice but they never had the decency to reply. I understand that they are very busy during the Corona Virus but this is not good enough ! I have purchased other plug plants this year and they were in a similar plastic box but then they had an outer cardboard box for protection .I will never use this company again .Poor customer services and poor packaging.

Hi Don't order from this company! Placed a £75 order with them and only the compost arrived, no plants. It's now more than a month and nothing. No response to emails and no-one answering the phone. Absolutely shocking!

Ordered on 31st March still waiting for delivery, customer service is non excitent and a Premier rate phone number which I was not aware of until the bill came. I have now contacted PayPal to refund my money. I understand we are in an unprecedented situation but just an email to let us know what's happening would go a long way. Just ignoring the customer makes them nervous.

BUYER BEWARE. Do not buy from this company. Ordered goods on 28/2/20 but 3 weeks later only part of order arrived - after I complained. Never received rest of order. Sent numerous emails - no response. Telephone number - premium rate only and you are left in on hold for ages whilst they take your money in telephone charges and no one ever answers. They owe me approx £80 - sent email cancelling rest of order and asking for refund - no response. It’s a Scam!!

Ordered on the 31st March. Customer service is appalling, they don't answer the phone, they don't reply to emails. Sales staff try to help but even they can't access my account. I was told I might receive my order this week. Terrible service. All other online nurseries have been amazing in the current crisis. Will now contact the retail ombudsmen. Courtesy goes a long way!
