“Booked a cottage for my in laws for my wedding weekend well in advance. As they were getting on the plane to America they were told they had no accommodation. They did not provide a suitable alternative. Disaster for the wedding, so stressful. Everywhere else was booked. We will never use then again.”
“Using booking.com is easy and reliable. I have been traveling, to Europe, for over 30 years. In the olden days you used to have to send a letter to the hotel that you were interested in. First you had to find a hotel in a guidebook, write to them, wait for them to write back to you, send your nonrefundable cashiers check, and then hope that everything went well upon your arrival (sometimes it didn't work out real well). Now, if you use booking.com, you go online, choose your hotel, and secure it with a credit card. You can manage your bookings very easily. We like to make our arrangements way in advance, so it is great that you can change your mind if you need to.”
“They told me they would refund my trip but a month later nothing. I just called in and after no help I asked to speak to a manager and she said I could not. Then said she was going to end the call. Would NOT recommend them! They make it hard on you if travel plans change.”
“I've them many times and never had a problem always a good price and give loads of free cancellation on lots of booking and one time it came in handy and I had no problems cancelling at all”
“From booking, I made my reservation to the hotel in Paris. Quick and safe. I love it because I could see some real pictures with the room, see some ratings on the hotel, and also the location on the map before I got here.”
“I recently booked two hotels through this site. I have received booking confirmations but neither booking was correctly registered with the hotels. I was lucky at the first, they had a spare room. At the second I needed to find a new hotel at midnight! Not recommended”
