“I added a promo code to get an extra 5% on my buyback; it didn't upload that way so I didn't get the credit for using the app for the first time. Very annoying”

“The fact that you tried to penalize me for sending in several books separate from my main order is aggravating. The books I sent were extremely heavy, and I could not add anymore to the box without risking the box breaking during the shipment. You shouldn’t penalize people with shipping costs if they have to break an order into two separate shipments.”

“Payment process is very slow. System says 3 to 20 days. Average payment time is 20 days. Postal service confirms delivery, system confirms check in as 3.14.26. As of today, 3.31.26, payment still not received.”

“I don't like the automatic box checked for insurance. There have been a few times when I've been in a hurry to get the books in the mail and complete the form without realizing the box was checked. Please change the automatic nature of this option to enable people to opt in as opposed to opting out.”

“I wish I had a better experience. The book took over a month to get to me, and then it was not the edition I had ordered. I need the 3rd edition specifically for my work project, and I was sent the 2nd edition. I am having a hard time finding the original order to know if that part was my error or not, but the fact that it took a month to arrive (and for me to see it was the wrong edition) is a problem. The condition of the book was pretty rough as well. I will not use Books run again.”

“The flimsy packaging ripped and my book was hanging out of the package. Thankfully it wasn't raining or the book would have been completely ruined. I also wouldn't say this book was the quality that I paid for. It has more wear and tear than I would've thought for the quality rating I paid for.”

“Paid for expedited shipping(2day), and it still took 5 days. Customer service never responded when I reached out. Prices were fine so I'll order again, but will stick with regular shipping if its the same as expexited and just eat the extra cost this time.”

“When I have received my book it was falling apart! They duck taped the spine together. There were also a lot of obnoxious stickers all over it. It took forever to scrape a little bit of it off. The book is readable non the less. So it will do.”

“Book was listed as very good. I don't know what the standards are for your site or AbeBooks (where I purchased it), but it was not very good according to Ebay standards. A page came bent from top to bottom. I do not have a picture of this because I managed to straighten it enough that I can't find it. Top corner of the cover and all the pages are bent slight forward. It is possible if not likely that the damage could have been prevented by the book having had more protective packaging, but some spots look suspiciously like water damage. In case it's a shipping issue and the book was shipped in nice condition, I'm giving two stars instead of one. Was shipped in a timely manner. Could have used more protection perhaps, but was comparable to other sellers who I also get bumped up books from.”
