“I recently used Brakes to Go for brake work on my car, and I had a great experience with them. The scheduling process was easy thanks to their online system, and they promptly emailed me the estimate. When I asked to add a brake fluid flush, they updated the estimate without any hassle. The technician, Tim, was fantastic. He texted me when he was on his way, including a link with a map showing his truck's location. When he arrived, he explained that he would perform an inspection to see if the work I requested was needed. He patiently answered all my questions and provided a clear understanding of the process. Later on, Tim texted me when the inspection was complete and confirmed my brake pads and fluid needed replacement. He then performed the repairs, and I felt confident that my car was in good hands. Throughout the process, Tim kept me updated on the progress and let me know when he was done and had my invoice ready. It was nice to get these process updates, and I appreciated Tim's attention to detail. The work was done quickly and efficiently, taking a little over an hour, and there were no surprise charges. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire team. The convenience of working from home during the entire service was a huge plus. I didn't have to waste any time driving somewhere and waiting, and I could keep working at my own job during the entire service. I was only minimally interrupted to move the process along. Overall, I had a great experience with Brakes to Go, and I will definitely use them again for any brake work I need in the future.”

“They were fantastic! Brake job was done well. Technician explained the process completely before starting. He checked my front and back pads and rotors and replaced both in front and only pads in back. Timely, quick, no mess and at my house. So quick and easy! I highly recommend.”

“I want to leave an honest review of Brakes To Go. I have a luxury car I say that because they offer brake service for every make and model of vehicle. I knew I needed pads and rotors for my front wheels and felt pretty sure all I needed in the back was to have my rotors turned and new pads. Most of you will need what I needed. I set an appointment online, and they called to confirm my request, so the day after our ice storm I had a service tech in my garage preparing to work on my brakes. First off let me say I’m giving them a 5 Star Review simply because my car brakes like it’s a brand-new car. This is for you older people out there. The only con I want to tell you about is that they do not have the capability to turn your rotors. This is a process where they machine your rotor back to a smooth surface on both sides of the rotor. Instead of machining your rotors, they install brand-new rotors. My tech was Dylan and he was excellent! He took his time and did the job right and left my garage looking great. Let’s talk numbers, I called the shop, I usually go to and asked for an estimate of the cost to install new brakes and rotor all the way around the car and I can tell you I saved myself a little over $500 by having a brake service come to my house and install my brakes. Remember they come to you. I’m retired and I felt no pressure whatsoever to do business with Brakes To Go. I highly recommend them to my close friends and to those that will read this review.”

“This was our second time having our brakes done by Brakes To Go. The tech arrived on time and was very friendly. After briefly discussing the issues we were having, he inspected all four wheels and after a closer inspection of the rear brakes, recommended replacing the rotors, pointing out the irregular wear.”

“It was an easy process to set an appointment online and then have the brake technician come out to where I work and fix my brakes. The technician was very professional and very thorough. He even told me that I only needed to have my rear brake pads replaced and my front pads were good. It is nice to find an honest company.”

“I looked at the best brakes in Austin and Brakes to Go came up first with 5 stars. I called and was immediately put at ease. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the technician was great. He was knowledgeable and explained everything and answered all of my questions. My brakes were fixed at my home and I could not be happier. As a side note, I did wind up taking my car to a dealership for another problem and my brakes were excellent.”

“It was a painless experience. The technician showed up, explained to me why my handbrake didn’t work on the day of freezing weather. Then measured my break pads and installed rear pads in record time for a competitive price. I was very impressed. No sitting in waiting rooms. Just had to move my truck to a flatter location. All round, very impressed with the service.”
