#1. They always overcharge you as compared to other Volvo dealerships. Sometimes up to 80% more. #2. They charge you for things that you never asked for. #3. They have a new payment policy. If you don’t pay by cash or check and choose to use your credit card, you won’t find out till you give them your credit card that they add a 3% charge to the bill. No where is it posted till it’s too late. #4. They never return your phone calls. Nor do they call you when they say they would. #5. They don’t have enough qualified and certified mechanics. Per Richard. #6. Try to make arrangements for a loaner. I’m told they only have ONE available at all times and can not tell you when it will be available. I’m surprised they are still in business. 7. Try to buy a Volvo. There are none on the lot, to look at or test drive. This has been my experience. I have documented proof of over paying etc. Stay away from Dick Dyer.

Worst experience ever at a dealership. Go to Charlotte, the experience is so much better.

I have to be honest, WHAT IS UP WITH THIS PLACE? I want to buy a $65k car, I visit, the salesperson acts so completely uninterested in selling the vehicle, asks us no questions (not even our names), is on his phone texting, doesnt mention any features or selling points of the vehicle. Then after we leave, we hear noooooothing... I appreciate not being pushy, but this guy asked no leading questions to understand what is important to me in a car to help him find a vehicle to match my wants/ needs. I then go online and see exactly what I want but wasnt showed in-person), so I followed up with the salesperson and when he answered my call at 9:30am it sounded like I woke him up, he was so unfriendly and uninterested. Then suddenly we got disconnected mid-call, again no follow up, nothing. Do you WANT TO SELL CARS HERE? Its like they are filling seats with bodies, but nothing more... before this guy, I walked in a chatted with a girl who did not even know the difference between Momentum and Inscription packages on the vehicles... I had to tell her. Good grief! The sales people know nothingggg about cars and dont seem interested in selling them. What a resounding disappointment. Volvo and Dyer & Dyer... do better.

In the past 3 years, the service has deteriorated and despite trying to be understanding and conciliatory, things got so bad that I decided to purchase a new car, not a Volvo, after buying 4 Volvo’s from DD and referring many potential buyers, from an entirely new dealership. The service was completely awful and was so over a long period of time. Volvo has lost me because of this. I lost complete confidence in Dick Dyer.

I swore off your dealership a few years back. I had made a deal over the phone to purchase a new Mercedes. I drove about two hours to get there. Once there, I was told that the car had been sold to a walk in customer. The guys kinda had a laugh over it. NOT funny to me. I was treated very poorly. The thing is, I was a very good customer, bought several cars from you and always had them serviced there. YOUR LOSS.
