“I collect Boys Annuals on this occasion I ordered Warlord 1987. Advertised as Good / Very Good. Package arrived and was advertised. In factvi would say it was Very Good and delivered in record time.
In all the orders I have recieved from various dealers Brit Books are one of only two who included a receipt and a customer care email and phone number.

“The book l ordered was described as Used ,Very Good when infact it was just the opposite.The cover was separating out,the pages discoloured ,often turned at the corners n obviously well worn.The only place it was fit for was the BIN.!!!!!”
“Shameless scammers. They use stock images and a description of "very good condition" and send out books that are in poor condition. I believe that they rely on people not being bothered with the inconvenience of taking such low value items to the post office for a refund.”

“Bought a book from these people. Book was damaged, a number of pages badly creased. Complained. Sent photographs. They offered a 20% discount. I declined as the book was useless to me. They asked me to send back the book but refused to pay return postage as that was 'not their policy.' I have not dealt with a company as dishonest and unreliable as this ever. I wanted a particular book with a cd and confirmed with them first that the cd was in the book and britbooks assured me it was so i purchased and the book arrived without the cd and i am unable to get my money back… they finally contacted me to offer the book at a reduced price, but it was the cd i wanted and i said no to their offer and haven’t heard from them since…. I have had my money taken from me under false pretences and the company is not resolving their false selling!!! i will never order from them again!!!”

“I ordered 2 books, via Abe Books, which were supposed to arrive on or before 13 Oct. When they had still not arrived by 17 Oct I contacted the seller. They could not tell me the whereabouts of my order, and so refunded me in full. Disappointing though. I still would like to know which courier they use.”
