"I bought an as-is Leap V2 a few months ago and it's been fantastic. It was advertised as a \"covid-chair\" meaning that it was purchased by a company before covid and sat in an office for five years unused. I rolled the dice and was very happy with what I got. A new chair at a fraction of the cost. This thing had ZERO signs of use. The fabric smelled like....new fabric. There was one piece that was damaged during shipping and BTOD replaced the part and had it shipped to me incredibly quickly. Their customer service is fast to respond. Would buy from them again. "

"The refurbished Steelcase Amia is a tremendous value.\r\n\r\nThe video reviews of the comfort of the seat pad and back rest are accurate. Both the seat and the back rest are extremely comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time. The back rest has shifted my posture to a more ergonomic and healthy position. The back rest's lumbar support is effective. I do feel it and it helps my back. This is the first experience I've ever had with a chair with lumbar, so I can't compare it to the Steelcase Leap or any other chair. My only complaint is that the adjustable lumbar support will on occasion slide down lower on my back. It's not difficult to readjust it, so it hasn't been an issue for me. I don't know if this is a common problem that rests in Steelcase's design or in BTOD's refurbishing--or if this is an issue with my chair only. \r\n\r\nThe back rest recline tilt function is good. It isn't as smooth as other chairs that I've owned, but it works and supports me well since I like to recline back in my chair a lot. The tension adjustment functions quite well.\r\n\r\nI got BTOD's standard fabric covering for the seat and back rest. The fabric is comfortable and feels very durable. The indigo color is vivid. However, the fabric retains some body heat, so if you really want the ventilation of mesh, you'll need to look at another chair.\r\n\r\nThe arm rests are amazing. Extremely adjustable, so I can really dial exactly where I need the pads to be to support my elbows. I got the BTOD replacement arm pads, and they are very nice. Just the right amount of firmness and grip. The covering causes no discomfort with my skin, and my elbows are in no danger of slipping off the pads. \r\n\r\nThe frame, seat base, and the cylinder are all excellent. I am confident that I will get 12 years or even more from this chair.\r\n\r\nI got BTOD's roller blade wheels, and honestly, they work TOO well. It is incredibly easy to move the chair on these wheels. I often place too much effort in pushing the chair, and it will really roll around, regardless of the surface, smooth tile or carpet. I'm not really complaining, but if you are considering the BTOD wheels, be aware these wheels are legitimate.\r\n\r\nOverall, I feel I have gotten a $1000+ chair for half the price. I have a great warranty from a company that appears to stand behind their products and refurbishing process.\r\n\r\nI have attached a photo so all can see what my old chair, \"Ol' Scrappy,\" was like. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with my upgrade."
