“Was sick so couldn’t fly. Tried calling them to cancel my flight. No answer from them. So they cancelled my flight and won’t reimburse me or book another flight. Customers services u have to pay for the phone call. They are rude and abrupt when they do pick up and are no help at all. I lost a thousand pounds over this flight. Worst company in the world. “On our return from Skiathos, Greece we received an e-mail from Budgetair stating our return flight time to The UK had changed from 19:50 to 22:50. We then decided we’d better check at the airport to make sure this was correct, it wasn’t! The flight time “was” the original time of 19:50. Had we taken notice of Budgetair’s flight time change we would have missed our flight! We would never consider using Budgetair again and would never recommend anyone else using them either. DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR!”

Why can I not give 0 stars? This company are crooks. They change the booking once you have submitted it. Luckily I spotted it immediately the first time and cancelled and re-booked quickly. This time they removed my luggage, but I have taken photos of each step and the booking details that came up on the website after I booked. I think they charge for luggage twice anyway as the ticket name at this stage was Plus which includes 2 x 23kg with SAS. They are dishonest at every turn, and very unhelpful when you phone them. Judging by the other reviews it looks like they alter a lot of bookings in order to make the customers pay more. I have submitted a complaint, but I will not get that day and a half of my life back, and it will take longer to lower my blood pressure.”

I called to try and get this corrected but after being on hold for over an hour I was informed that it would cost be an additional £175 to get my flight corrected. The customer service was terrible and I would highly recommend avoiding this company and paying more to book with a better, more reliable site.”

The issue that I have experienced was: FRAUD!!!
Their IATA liscence belongs to another company - everywhere says they are a scam.
We booked and both Claire and I tripled checked booking before paying. Without doubt our RETURN TRIP from UK was 17th July. We have just printed e-TICKET as we fly to UK on Saturday. To ou HORROR the ticket reads 17Th June!! We phoned to change flight - the woman was rude, evassive and unhelpful - they want R26 000 from us to change flight to what we origonally booked. THIS IS FRAUD!!! WE CANNOT AFFORD THAT and may have to stay behind in South Africa and miss my neice's wedding.
This meant that ITS URGENT AS IF NOT RESOLVED BY SATURDAY WE WILL MISS MY NEICE'S WEDDING
OUR RETURN FLIGHT IS INCORRECT - WE BOOKED 17TH JULY RETURN NOT 17TH JUNE

To do it some justice, customer service is prompt and polite.”

I've called then 3 times, one of them on the energency line - no answer. I queued 30min, wasted lot of money and no answer.
It just feels like a phantom company, a scam.

“Budget air is scam! I booked and paid yesterday 18th Apr 2019 and today when i emailed to ask where is my tickets they said sorry airline cancelled it! When i asked why? they did not have any answer and when i call to their head office the employee who was the manager also said the money is with airline and then again he said the money is with bank and all the time giving me stupid technical ticketing answers!!! (I worked for many years in Airfrance / KLM as KAM and i have a very wide ticketing knowledge and procetures! I am sorry for the stupid decision i made!”
