Start prices low and then charge you a lot more even when your not using it

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy with the charges you've had with Bulb. We never want to charge more than what you're using, and if you're submitting regular meter readings we should be billing you to them. Seems very good customer service. Slightly disappointing to receive a price increase within a couple of months of joining bulb. But seems very efficient so far.

Good customer service, and I really like that they’re green, but gave a very inaccurate quote for power. I’m paying a lot more than expected

I'm sorry for the discrepancy with your quote and what you're paying, though. When we generate a quote initially we go on average usage for a property of that size in your postcode if we don't get actual usage figures, which can sometimes be inaccurate. i would recommend this energy provider. it is online only which initially worried me but has in reality been easy to use with no issues at all. I have saved money on my gas and electric each year and have autonomy on my bills and payments.

The most transparent energy company ever, with a super simple user portal and the best customer service. Regular emails from Bulb will always keep you in the loop, and they're written in clear language that doesn't feel like a hard sell.

I switched to Bulb as British Gas could not fit theor smart meter in the shared box as there wasn't enough space. After talking to Bulb I was informed that your smart meter would fit and I would have one when I switch. Well I didn't pass the credit check as I had been in prison 15 years, so Bulb promise of Smart Meter never took place. Still not impressed

Hi Stew, I'm really sorry we've not been able to install smart meters for you just yet. We only credit check members when they're moving from prepayment meters to credit meters, it's not a condition of having smart meters installed. Easy simple way to set up an account online and be able to monitor it. I like the ability to submit an online reading also and check your payments and balance.

They do what they are supposed to be provide power I feel they could be more accessible when things go wrong like when my token key wouldn’t work over a weekend.
