We were delighted to receive the beautifully gift wrapped voucher. However- as others have stated- trying to book is incredibly time consuming and frustrating. Emails take 10 days to answer (because of covid?!) we still have been unable to book our two day break after trying for nearly a month

I bought a buyagift for my daughter, wife and a treat to myself for all our birthdays. Costing a few hundred £s. It was meant to be a micro flight experience. Finally we got a date to go with good weather conditions in Rochester Kent. But my family and myself were extremely disappointed when we got shown the aircraft. To our horror it was not a micro flight at all it was what I can only say was a small plane. Nothing like the picture advertised when I bought the experience online. We alll on took the flight individually and wasn’t even able to take control and described as well. Now I have tried to contact buyagift 4 times and 3 times had a live chat with a member of buyagift staff, all this since 21st August and each time been fobbed off that someone will deal with this and get back to me. It’s been 8 weeks now and still no reply. The customer service is appalling and I would never recommend buyagift to any one.……. I am still waiting a reply to this day. I’m not asking for a total refund but maybe some sort of compensation as it wasn’t what I bought and still have the documentation to show for it.

Do not buy the One Night Hotel Stay for Two with Dinner there is not a single hotel that doesn't require a financial upgrade of sort and on top of this most found require an upgrade that is MORE value than the voucher itself and more value than just booking the hotel through any other website and throwing the voucher in the bin!

Warning: Do Not Use Buyagift. Book directly instead. Most of these reviews which say how great they are "must be fake" and requires investigation, as several friends and family have also experienced issues with vouchers and poor customer service from Buyagift. My wife and I redeemed the buyagift voucher plus an additional payment of £41.00, to book the family Shrek World and london riverpass boat cruise, for our daughter's birthday. However, the day was ruined! We wished we never used buyagift and purchased directly instead. Firstly, on attendance at shrek world, the voucher was not recognised by their system and we had to call a Manager at the site to discuss the issue, after 45mins and embarrassment they finally allowed us entry without paying but said it was as a goodwill gesture and only on this occasion. The riverpass voucher was not accepted, as we were informed the voucher is invalid and needs to be updated to be redeemed at Westminster Bridge pier (not London Eye), both (London Eye and Westminster) piers confirmed we can not board without a valid voucher, therefore this experience voucher was not used and we had to pay out of our own expense for a very short boat trip, although the money was supposed to be used for a meal at a restaurant, but we promised our daughter the boat ride. As a result we had to get a fast food takeaway and the birthday plans for our daughter was ruined! We submitted a complaint, however the Customer Service at Buyagift is absolutely appalling. There is no contact number to speak with someone, obviously because to avoid speaking with the overwhelming number of unhappy customers! Instead they use a very time consuming chat service or email process. Someone by the name of Josh/Joshua was assigned to our complaint case, however he seemed to not care about our ordeal nor the importance of resolving the matter urgently. When we used the chat service and email again we hoped a different person would respond, but we had the same person, lacking any empathy about our circumstances. We submitted our complaint and request for a full refund on 27th June 2022. We were told they give their suppliers 10days to investigate and respond. Despite waiting and after several attempts to chase a response or a refund this carried on well outside the given timeframe. It started to appear they knew about the issue and was trying to keep us waiting until we gave up, as they attempted to send an email advising "Case being closed" as they expected us to monitor our emails for a response from them at random times. 5th September 2022, we finally received a response, offering us only £10.69 refund, which is appaling behaviour and well far from sufficient!

I bought my husband a driving experience we went to hooton park track there he was told the car he was supposed to of been driving was not there but he could up grate to another car .more money they asked for this was with psr don't buy one of there deals it's a rip off.

Not very good at being able to contact Buyagift when a customer has a problem with the voucher, when they do contact you they don’t read the email reply then they email you back saying they closed your case. Absolutely abmissmal customer service.

Still not received my E Voucher from June this year. A gift for my husbands birthday and nobody responding to my emails. So upset about not being able to speak to someone to help me with this.

The hotel dates I wanted wasn’t available. I checked with customer service before biting the tickets but was told I have to purchase th e ticket before they could check availability.. U should be able to check the dates u want first. Not impressed really. I have used the online form to request refund. There is no contact number for queries and you could wait for hours without any connection on the chat function. I am still awaiting my refund

Total scam. Bought a driving experience, tried to book 5 months in advance of expiration, and no availability. Only 2 dates for a track near me and all the cars were booked. Extremely poor customer service (web chat only) and no refund, only voucher. This scam company uses cheap 3rd party companies to NOT fulfill the services they sell. Avoid.

Totally and utterly useless ‘customer service’. You can’t call. Live chat is often off line. I got disconnected 6 times before I finally got through to an advisor. They were helping to verify my refund then I conveniently got cut off again. I immediately emailed saying what had happened, how disappointed I was and that I wanted someone to get back in touch with me. No one did. So now I have missed the 30 days statutory period for a return and no one will help me. Leaving me out of pocket. I will NEVER shop here ever again and I would recommend that no one else does. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Redeemed a gift voucher from Buy a gift via one of their affiliated partners Adventure 001 & unfortunately contracted COVID (positive test provide to them) the day prior. They refused to change my booking as we did not provide 7 days notice.l did not have COVID 7 days ago! Ridiculous! They said it was my choice not go and apart from feeling very unwell how irresponsible would it be to go to an event knowing you had COVID & could spread it. Shame on you buy a gift for being associated with such an appealing company.

Booked the hotel but through illness could not go hotel would not rearrange dates and Buy a Gift has a no cancellation policy. Found the hole experience very frustrating now someone has been paid for doing nothing I have lost my Gift 🙁

Not happy at all you charge then when it comes to booking there are no spaces available till October. I wanted to do this with my husband as he has terminal cancer and a few weeks left to live so know we are not able to have this experience.

Great to get a voucher from our daughter for a 2 night break. Unfortunately, the voucher was worth less than what was paid and the places we were interested in visiting had no availability or you could not book online. Eventually, I found somewhere and was asked for an extra £189 when booking. So I upgraded to a double room (the extra 189 was for twin) and an extra night to give us a decent break, paying an extra £306, on top of the voucher. When I looked on the hotel website I saw that the room would cost about 360. So, my daughters £130+ voucher didn't really give value, did it? I think this is a fab idea, but it doesn't seem to be like for like value.
