“Buyee is a pretty decent way to buy things. I have used it on both Mercari and Yahoo auctions and have certainly gotten some good deals. They complete purchases very quickly and things are shipped to their warehouse fairly quickly as well. I do have to ding them on a few things though. They don't ship it out very quickly after you pay, and package consolidation doesn't seem to make things much cheaper than the 500 yen it costs to do it. My biggest complaint is that they miss-categorized one package and I had to contact them twice and it took 3 days for it to be properly re-classified as a small parcel which saved me more than 1200 yen. I also feel that they should be actively warning people about the slowdown of EMS shipping to the USA during this situation with coronavirus. Had I known before I shipped what I had to look up on the Japan post website, I would have shipped DHL instead.”
