Card market has stolen over 2,594 euro from me! I recently joined cardmarket.com to sell some cards and try it out, I saw mixed reviews but wanted to give it a chance - THIS WAS A MISTAKE! I sold the following cards for a total price of 2,594 euro: 1 Volcanic Island (unlimited) 1 Underground Sea (revised) 1 Null Rod 2 Force of Negation (foil) 1 Klothyx, God of Destiny 1 Scourge of the Skyclaves (foil) The buyer of the cards signed for the package but then told me in private message to refund him the money and he would send me back my cards, as he doubts the authenticity of them. He then sent the cards to cardmarket staff who told me (I have the screen shots as well, I am actually taking them to court for this) they *believe* the cards are not authentic and 'doubt' that I purchased them from where I said I did. They then refused to reply to me for several days until at which point a customer service agent "Matteo" replied to me that according to the brands directive (however ignoring the European Union laws and laws in Germany) they decided to keep my property and not return it to me as they *believe* the cards are not authentic. In this case cardmarket has assumed the right and responsibility as judge, jury and executioner seizing my propert in value of over 2,594 euros. I expect the staff to return all of my property at once, feel free to consult your lawyers. I have already began the process to start litigation if my property is not returned. The next step from this review will be publishing across reddit, youtube and MTG forums my experience fully documented of the theft of my magic cards from cardmarket and the audacity of their staff to pretend they have the right to seize an individuals property.

Anyone who suffered misjudgment from them in any way, shape or form please contact me under this e-mail address: cardmarketcase at interia.pl I will fight for my rights against them in court in Berlin and demand compensation. They will block your account for no reason. Just on a whim with no explanation. You have no consumer rights there. But that will change.

Horrible Experience with this company. Sold 3 copies of a card to a buyer. Week later he states it has not been received. No problem - so I respond to wait a week more, if it doesn't arrive I have the proof of postage so can open up a claim with postage company. A week later, he opens a dispute that it has arrived, but now the order is damaged and incorrect. I receive a notification to resolve. Again, no problem - I reach out to the buyer to find out more information and obtain proof to try get this resolved. I receive no response. So I'm unable to do anything further. Cardmarket decides to restrict my account fully, preventing any sales. After reaching out to their support even after stating they are not responding I'm told that it is my issue to resolve. I requested pictures from them and they don't provide me anything. I'm just expected to refund them and take a loss with no proof, no direct communication with buyer or I cannot use the site. I'm just glad this happened with a smaller order, because it clearly shows they will side with a buyer no matter what and just expect you to take big losses if it was a large order. On another note, each response from the support staff took roughly a week, and one of my emails, I even had to send another follow-up email because they just decided not to respond to my previous email. So on top of horrible service they take forever to respond. Avoid this site.

Had some good experiences in the past, but recently found out that if you don't confirm the arrival of an item after 31 days, that cardmarket will automatically mark it as having arrived without your constent or knowledge. Even if your still waiting for the item to arrive or it's got lost in the post. They don't even ask you about it first. Just straight up marks it as arrived, that meaning that contesting it is now impossible, and that the seller gets t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ your money. Great system >_>.

Customer support has gone absolutely downhill since they went over to their new support system. It's like they opened up a new support office in the zoo in the monkey section.

TRUE EXPERIENCE: They don't add any improvements. Their service is the same as it was 6 years ago with the same problems occuring again and again. Huge lags, their www is sometimes suddenly out of service during the day, there are limited browsing options, high fees and very expensive shipping from some countries. But the worst is the "customer support" that is not supportive. Bad treatment of customers.

I spent years building a great account on this market site and. One day support suspended my account for no reason. They won’t let me sell or buy cards there anymore. I tried to ask why this happened, but they refuse to tell. Please be very cautious with this service.

The worst customer service you can imagine. Slow, rude, spiteful and not ready to hear you out. Superficial analysis of the issue so that they can close the ticket as soon as possible. Not helpful uless thay have a copy-paste text ready to insert within your ticket page. Not interested in real help. The site is ok, the customer support deserves zero stars.

Vague customer service answers if they don't sort it out I'll be making 100s of accounts and keeping as many cards in multiple baskets with no intention of buying them

Card market customer service is non existent if your worried about things going wrong and needing help from the website don't use card market they will NEVER get back to you

They are like a country protecting their multinationals , they only care about big sellers , if a seller with over 1k sales does anything wrong they answer you in disdain as they know the support team got their back also if there is an equal level of sales between both parties and there is a problem seller will always be seen as a holy person who can do nothing wrong also buyers have to wait a minimum of 1-2 weeks on a refund and sellers 3-5 days

THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND GAVE THEM TO A SCAMMER. THEY IGNORED ALL THE PROOFS THAT I HAD BEEN SCAMMED. UNACCEPTABLE AND TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR FEE. STAY AWAY.

I live in Italy, I bought some cards from a German seller (18/01/2022), that never arrived, I contacted the shipment company on the Italian side (24/01/2022 - date when I also opened a ticket on cardmarket.com). They said that the fault was of the currier which has not delivered to me the package. Then I gave the evidence of what was said by the shipment company to both the seller and cardmarket. So, after and some talk with the seller, I contacted the customer service the 24/01/2022. I was already told by the shipping company that I could ask for a refund, since the fault is theirs and they’ll give the money back to the seller (or cardmarket). It was the 02/02/2022. But cardmarket told me that I have to wait 12 weeks! 12 WEEEKS! I have also insisted with the German side of the shipment and, eventually, they would have let known the seller about the issue. It was the Here comes the funny part, after some time, many emails and many complaints, the seller contacts me telling that I was eligible for a refund since the shipping company on their side has noted and admitted the responsibility and that they would inform cardmarket (2/02/2022). I was like: “that’s it, I’m going to get my money back, right away”, what a fool I was! So, the 18/02 I asked card market where is my money, and I received a reply today stating that I they are looking for evidences and I could wait 12 weeks to get my money back. Is it normal? Shouldn’t I receive the money back once the shipment says delivered but it is actually not, I mean I can understand a week or two but it is more than a month now, like Amazon, eBay etc. Silvia, the girl in charge of solving my issue was slow to answer (once every week), she did not answered all my questions, she was superficial and careless, I haven’t felt this badly treated in a while! In Europe we have laws that enforce the seller to give customers money back if anything wrong happens to the shipped product or during the shipment. Is cardmarket aware of this?

I'm not sure who all these idiots are writing these reviews, I've been selling and purchasing off CM for over a year now, from sellers everywhere in Europe and have not encountered an issue yet. The staff is quick to react to any issues and always resolve them fairly. Best platform to buy cards in Europe!

Horrible company who prioritise money of what is right. A buyer was trying to blackmail me for money, threatening to give me a bad review if I did not refund him and they backed him as he had 4k sales compared to my 80. Despicable company.

Worrst customer service ever. They justcharged a wrong account with my 7000.- even though I made the transaction correctly. Customer support is not accessible and gives no response!

Cardmarket deleted my negative review in request of the seller. Seller has 100 percent positive feedback with atleast 15 deleted feedback. Customer service put my ticket on solved without answering
