Like many others, I bought a code for Hogwarts Legacy and, whilst I was charged (although, luckily it was a pending transaction), I received no confirmation or no receipt. I put in a ticket for support and was responded to within an hour requesting a screenshot of the receipt that I had already said I didn't have. When I repeated this to them, I received absolutely no response. After 24 hours of no response, I put in a second ticket, this time with an attachment of the pending payment in my account. I had a response from another member of the team saying that I would get a update from him when he had some information from the relevant team. After 4 whole days of silence, I replied requesting an update and was only sent an automated holding email detailing a series of issues in handing out codes for Hogwarts Legacy. I replied to this with the relevant information...and received the exact same automated holding email as a response. Another 24 hours later, I once again requested an update and received no response beyond a third rendition of the automated holding email. At this point I lodged a complaint by issuing another ticket. I complained about the length of time it had taken, the lack of human communication and the generally poor customer service that they had provided. As if to prove my point, the person who responded just sent me a copied and pasted version of the exact same automated holding email. My pending transaction will be automatically cancelled by my bank tomorrow as it will be the 7th day that the money has been held back. Something tells me I will not be getting this game. I have previously used this website and have been happy with the service provided. As have many of my friends. This is the first time that something has gone wrong with a transaction that we're aware of. However, whilst this is the first time that I've had to deal with customer support, it has been handled so atrociously that it puts me off buying a single game code from them ever again.

My worldwide game key wouldn’t activate in my country after purchasing. Support asked for the code which I gave them, then proceeded to ignore all other emails from me. They never responded or fixed anything. They stole my money. Waste of time too.

keys don't work and the help is non-existent, will never use again, advise others to do the same also. ended up having to go to my bank to sort out the matter

Absolutely disgraceful. My 10 year old used his birthday money to buy a couple of games. Firstly the instructions on how to access the games is poor but when you do mange to work it out, you can't download the games because you need a certain amount of laptop storage! At no stage in the purchase process was this stipulated and they refuse to refund him for the game he can't play because we can't afford to buy a laptop with more storage!!! Customer service at its finest. Well done you a*rse*oles. Wish I had researched them and looked at other reviews beforehand.

Do not safe yourself a few dollars by buying from this site, it's a 50/50 if the keys work. They are selling used keys, and they state that customer support has a 2 hours response time, that is simply not true, they do not respond to emails, and will do nothing to resolve your issue, i'm on week 2 trying to get my money back, without a reply from them. Will have to trust that Paypal will resolve this in my favour. Scammy company with no regard for their customers

As with many now I'm starting to have serious issues with cdkeys. Purchased key appears to have been already used and after an initial reply from support requesting I supply further information I've been ignored. Avoid until they get their act together

This website it’s a scammer I brought a game from them they send me a key isn’t working when i contact them they’ll not trying to fix it or give me my money back avoid this website well scam you in bad way

I ordered a PS+ card and I immediately went to claim it when the email arrived. I put it in on the playstation app and was informed that it was used. CD said all its keys are new and I must have received it without knowing... My purchase history says otherwise. I was then brushed off saying that I had to fight sony and I would not be getting a replacement. Bizzarly enough, Pay pal sided with them because they could "prove delivery". Delivery of a used code!!!! Anyway check the Better business Bureau page. Many customers have the same issue.

Regarding CDKeys.com… COMPLETE SCAM!!! Do not purchase from this company!!! I purchased a 12 month PlayStation Plus Membership from them on 4/30/22. Tried to redeem the code on 5/12/2022. Got an error stating the code I entered was inactive. Contacted customer service. They told me to contact PlayStation Network since it was an issue on their end. Spoke with PSN, they confirmed the CDKeys code is valid but could not get it to work because “the merchant has not activated the code at the point of sale.” Contacted CDKeys again and they asked for a bunch of info like the code (already gave to them), transaction and subscription history with PSN, region, and if I had rebooted the PS5. I responded with all info. They said it would be 72 hours for an update. I told them I wanted a refund and will buy a membership through PSN instead. They said nope - my purchase was not eligible for a refund. THEY SENT ME A NON-WORKING CODE BUT TOOK MY PAYMENT RIGHT AWAY!!! They again blamed PSN! Then said that they hope I can redeem my code soon. 😳 I asked if it would be active and redeemable in a year after my new membership expired. No response until today when I received this: Hello, Our system shows that the code for your order has now been successfully redeemed. We hope this means that you're now enjoying your purchase! If there's anything else that we can help with, please let us know. Kind Regards, Jessica L Support Ace | CDKeys Customer Support I checked my account and only the full price membership is there. I DID NOT REDEEM THE CDKEYS CODE!!! They are taking no responsibility for their error and have stolen my money!!!

As you will see many others complain, this company will not make it right when they sell you a code that doesn't work in your region. I bought a world wide copy of RE7 gold, along with 3 other games. The other 3 games worked fine, but RE7 code was not valid in US. I submitted a support ticket and was asked to provide screen shots of my Steam library, code being entered, and error generated with system time visible in each screen shot. I provided said screen shots clearly showing that the code was rejected for wrong region. The reply was dead silence. No reply ever. A sure sign of guilt if I ever saw one. I was then forced to submit a PayPal claim, which was also somehow rejected for lack of documentation. I had provided the same screen shots to PayPal, and no further documentation was ever asked of me. Thankfully, when I called PayPal to discuss the closure of my case the rep agreed that I had provided sufficient proof of my claim and refunded my $11.99 more than 3 weeks after the initial support ticket. Hardest $11.99 I ever earned, but it was the principal of the matter I was fighting for. Be prepared to fight for your refund if you get a dud code, and make sure you use PayPal for protection.

Bought a "worldwide" key 10 days ago and it said it wasn't valid in my country (U.S.). Sent in a support ticket, got a response an hour later. They said to send pictures of the problem so I did. after that I have gotten no response. I have emailed them, messaged their social media, and called them to no avail. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS OUT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. At this point I'm sure all their positive reviews are fake. Wish I didn't trust the stupid trustpilot rating. If you want a key just go to instant gaming. They've never let me down except when they don't have something

Ordered FIFA 22, my son had saved up for two months but still wasn't anywhere near the money he needed to buy it from mainstream shops. Reviews on here made me very cautious but they all relate to the same game. Trust pilot had higher reviews so risked it. Well worth it. Other reviews talk about emails not being received. The code is on my cdkeys online account. I screen shotted everything but didn't need to as it went on fine. Tip to get around the predictive text on the Xbox start with the numbers first then go back and put the numbers in

Don't buy from them. Paid for dying light and they claim they sent it, then claimed they sent it to another email and I never got the game.

I bought a game key for a title that's really glitchy/performs terribly. I did my due diligence - made sure everything was updated, double-checked settings, contacted the game creator's customer support, and even did a full reinstall. That particular game just works horribly when using multiple monitors. This was certainly something I couldn't have guessed would be the case prior to purchase/install (it's 2022 why would a game not work with multiple displays?!), and it definitely wasn't disclosed in the game's description. Instead of CDKeys issuing a refund or even a store credit for the broken product so I could buy a game from them that actually works, they basically just said, "tough luck." You can't always know it's a broken, glitchy game until you install it and, once you do, you're screwed - CDKeys keeps your money & walks away. I essentially got punished for making an effort/spending my own time to get a defective game working. They're just in it for a quick buck. They don't care if they're selling you poo and, when they do, there's no service whatsoever. Don't buy from them. Get it somewhere that stands behind what they sell.
