“++ Ordered SS1-DX on a Tuesday, receiving delivery in Wisconsin on Friday. ++ Assembled unit without problem in less than 1-hour. ~ Sharp edges in some areas present cut hazard but this is not a huge issue. -- Had to drill a hole because manufacturer made error in placement. These last 2-issues lowered my scoring to 4/5. Rotisserie is adjustable to 3.5-, 7.5-, 11- and 15-inches above grates. I've been using my current rotisserie for 30 years and I'm looking forward to taking this one through a couple of test runs starting with a 30-lb. pig this weekend. Will NOT comment on quality until I've given this one a try. Report on outcome/learning to follow. AGCKahuna”

“Awesome peice of equipment. Couple with the meator Bluetooth prob. This is perfect even cooking machine. I bought the chicken basket which I call the Farris Wheel. Is cooking made easy as hell. I need to talk to the engineers about bushings instead of lock nuts. But the lock nuts work too. Buy it Buy it Folks. If you serious about smoking and grilling food. This is for you!”

“The product itself is ok but substandard. Edges are razor sharp and the finish quality is poor. The item is made in china, so if you’re ok with that do yourself a favour and save $$ and buy directly from China instead. You’re likely to get the same product and better service On top of everything else the owner/operator Mark is an unhelpful jackass. When I had an issue with delivery, he yelled at me in the phone and blamed me and suggested that I should have bought elsewhere.”

“The grill itself is well-made but the baskets are flimsy they twisted on the first use I just put 40 pounds of meat in the rotisserie just with the forks they twisted as well When I contacted the company they just sent me a manual and no replacement parts The customer service is terrible ignore what you tell them”

“I've had my spit roaster for 4 years now. Love it. No problems putting it together. Spins 70 pound pigs easily. I got tired of renting roasters, mine has paid for itself. Now I'm getting ready to roast a lamb for Christmas.”

“So far I haven't been able to use it yet. Third trip to the hardware store to buy nuts and bolts that wasn't included. And no instructions for the rotisserie basket either.”

“I had a very good experience, I forgot to order chicken forks and when I called I was able to work it out with Mark. He is a bit blunt in his tone, comes across a bit of an attitude but it worked out. He ended up giving me 2 for 1 on the order and it worked out. I got their TS1 system that sits over a pit, its very solid and heavy and the motor was strong. roaster out 60lb whole hog with ease.”

“This looks lovely and shiny and sounds great but don't try to cook a pig on it, the system to attach the pig does not work, you cannot fit a pig of 40lb or bigger - there are constant flare ups and fires it is dangerous to use. It shakes and screws fall out during cooking. I would not recommend this to my enemies alone my friends.”

“Mark the manager of the company do not help customers at all.. To sell is easier but when a customer has a problem..he doesn't help at all.. Bad customer service..we bought to machine last year and the delivery was incomplete and the motor wasn't working...when we call him...mark .. That is his name he said he won't replace it ..dont buy from that company.. Thanks”

“I purchased spit roaster model SS1-DX I tried contacting the manager Mark a lot of times so he could replace the parts that were having problems and every time he had a different excuse for not sending them. This happened since December, and after a lot of back and forward he sent incorrect pieces and told me that he wasn’t going to pay for another shipment even though it was his mistake. Really bad customer service.”
