We have had a nightmare from day 1 , they are the most dishonest company we at our nursery have ever dealt with. They do not answer emails or phone , then you do get them and they are rude on the phone and then email after saying the staff won't tollerate complaints and staff being upset ? but it is ok for them to upset and lie and steal money and not empty bins for months. They need closing

Do not use these cowboys/conmen. They are a absoloute joke. Don't try and help resolve. Issue charge extra charges when then they shouldn't. Customer service is a joke cannot speak to manager at any point just get told they won't help you. Trying to cancel my contract and been waiting 10 days for a cancellation team numpty to call me.

Don't answer emails, don't answer the phone. Don't collect your waste. They only collect your direct debit. Avoid at all costs

Worst company ever to deal with stay clear!! Never collect bins but charge you a month in advance then due to them missing collections and our bins over flowing charge for extra waste...trying to end my contact but they say I have to give them six months notice! What a joke stay clear this company is a rip of and horrendous service and costs way more than your original Quotation...

This Company is despicable and I would be extremely careful about signing anything with them. They will quote you a price and then invoice you whatever they feel like and hide behind small print in a contract that you will do well to get out of. The owners are trying to set up a new trading name WASTEMANAGED.CO UK due to the massive volume of complaints and legal matters against them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

After my cancellation request, they are stalling on cancellation of a collection service we didn’t get, that we don’t now want, with a late payment penalty invoice for that service we didn’t get, plus an invoice for Duty of Care 2022 which we don’t need because we no longer require their service. I found it's dangerous to cancel the Direct Debit because the system is then designed to send out late payment penalties. So basically there is no way out. People beware ! It's very easy to set up a contract but after several years it's impossible to cancel it. I am told there is a procedure in Terms & Conditions but they are stalling. It's even proving difficult to get a copy of that ! On top of all that, they are not cheap by a long way. I can only describe the cost of service (and cancellation) as extortion !

I have only given Cheaper Waste one star as it is not possible to give no stars. First of all they did not collect my waste. I emailed and rang customer services to inform them and they came and emptied it. My bin then disappeared so I tried to ring and email to inform them, but no reply. However they still took money from my account. I emailed customer services again to inform them that I had no bin and was not prepared to pay for a bin I did not have and a service I was not receiving and if they did not reply to me within two weeks, I would cancel my standing order. Still no reply, so I cancelled my standing order. I then received an invoice of over £300 cancellation fee and when I informed them I was not willing to pay, I received a letter from their solicitor. The only reason I cancelled was because I was no longer willing to pay for a service I was not receiving. In all the time I was with Cheaperwaste they only ever emptied my bins twice. Please avoid this company. I ended up paying the cancellation fee so I could get rid of them and put the whole dreadful experience behind me. It cost me over £400 to have my waste emptied twice.

This company take random amounts of money out of your account without consent and subsequently I have been charged by my bank as they have taken 4 times more than they have been authorised! This has happened twice now in 12 months - looking at other reviews I am one of many unfortunately. Definitely Rogue Traders without a doutbt

Avoid this company unless you like being taken for an absolute fool! Missed bin pick ups & extra charges like you would never believe!! They have a contract that you can never leave (whatever the circumstances) without big penalty of payment & when your contract is up & you do all the termination of contract the right way that’s advised to you by them they will do anything they can to get extra money & when you challenge it will send a solicitor letter to frighten you! If you do agree to a contract be warned that if you ever have a query regarding the billing it is almost impossible to speak to someone & you are given every excuse as to why this problem can’t be resolved! They email saying we tried to ring you back but your phone will have no missed calls! I was charged for extra weight on nearly every bin pick up but no evidence of this was ever supplied to me & when I asked my bin man he said his weight machine was broken so how did that even work out!!! If you have a small business that’s trying to make a small profit in this world then definitely AVOID this company unless you like frustration & the extra headache of dealing with an absolutely useless company! If i had known 2 years ago about all the other unhappy customers of Cheaperwaste it would have been a god send so do your research on this company before you sign anything & if you do sign (god be with you) make sure you keep every single piece of paperwork & record every single telephone call as you will need it all in the future for helping yourself as they will deny & add things to help themselves! Money greedy company that are no good to anyone! EVEN IF YOUR BUSINESS IS CLOSED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR NOTHING!!

This is genuinely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Terrible communication, impossible to contact and extremely poor service. My bins arrived in October with no issues, minus the bags required to store the clinical waste. I emailed Cheaperwaste to make them aware of this immediately, to which they responded to, but still the bags did not arrive until almost 2 months later in December. My first invoice arrived, totalling over double the amount discussed during the initial sales call. I was also charged £96 for a duty of care certificate which I am yet to receive. My second invoice arrived, charging me again for the two bins Cheaperwaste delivered shortly after I agreed to their service. At this point I had still received no collections, so chose to cancel my direct debit to avoid further incorrect amounts of money being taken from my bank account. My third invoice arrived with a late payment fee of £40, despite my multiple attempts to contact Cheaperwaste to resolve the issues. The fourth invoice included a termination fee and container uplift fee totalling £1,323. I had received no communication from Cheaperwaste notifying me that they were terminating their services, and had still received no response to my emails detailing the problems with the service (or lack of service) provided. I then received a debt collection letter dated 6th January from a law firm acting on behalf of Cheaperwaste. The letter claimed that no disputes in relation to the service provided had been raised previously, which is false. Cheaperwaste unlawfully instructed the law firm to obtain over £1,600 on their behalf 2 days prior to the due date stated on their own invoice, 8th January. Whilst I am on the subject of Cheaperwastes inability to abide by the law, I again mention the fact that Cheaperwaste, still to this day, have failed to provide me with a duty of care certificate as required under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. This has left me with no choice but to immediately terminate all services and seek a different waste removal provider. I recently received a negative invoice, deducting the incorrect charges on my previous invoices and showing that Cheaperwaste are aware of their errors. I received an email shortly afterwards demanding that I pay immediately and reinstate my direct debit or legal action will be taken against me. I have received no invoice showing the amount I am expected to pay, only the negative invoice mentioned above. In total I have received one waste collection in December, 2 months after agreeing to their services. I have been left with an overflowing clinical waste bin causing a huge health and safety issue. Please stay away from this awful company! They are robbing and causing huge amounts of stress to small businesses during a pandemic. Search Facebook for ‘Cheaperwaste Unhappy Customers’ and you will find hundreds of people with similar or worse experiences.

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. It’s a complete con. Do not sign up with this company. Read reviews first. I have had issues with the following. Missed Collections False excess weight charges Random charges Additional Charges Bad customer services. I think it would be easier to get hold of the queen than this company. Run a mile and stay away.

The review that the heading states the TRUTH. You would not know the truth if it jumped up and bit you. All the 1 star reviews are from genuine businesses. Any 5 star reviews must be from CW staff, family members and friends. You state they are fake reviews. Who broke the contract terms? You did cheaperwaste by not fulfilling your duty of emptying our bins. You expect people to pay for a non service. Ermmmm no thats not how it works. Let me educate yourselves. We pay you money to empty our bins on the day of agreement. You dont empty them or change the day of collection without prior notice. Well that a breach of contract. You are contracted to take our rubbish, you dont take it you dont get paid. Simplest.

Absolutely appalling company. They mislead you into a scam. Being a retailer is difficult enough in this current economic climate. Then they have the audacity to issue a court summons. My advice is, stay well away from this company. If only I had read their reviews beforehand..

Beware of Cheaper Waste, they have over 1,000 complaints online and an extremely poor service, ie not picking up bins for 6 months, billing, giving excuses and then tripling charges when you withdraw from the contract due to their negligence. Stay well clear...
