If I could give 0 stars I would. I contacted them multiple times in early December when i received the package with a damaged box and damaged products inside. I had to go through not on the high st to eventually get hold of them (after they ignored my 3 emails and 2 voicemails). They offered a replacement empty cardboard box for the packaging with no acknowledgement of terrible customer service or damaged product inside. Still arguing with them currently. Ridiculous. Terrible. Dont care about customers. Avoid at all costs

I agree with previous reviews. Terrible service. No response to emails and other forms of contact. Order dispatched after delivery date has passed. Avoid this company at all costs

Awful awful awful company … just use someone else as they have the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Quick to take your money, don’t deliver and then ignore every email, message and phone call. Have had to try and claim back my money via credit card company but really did not need this hassle. My advice…. AVOID AVOID AVOID !

Terrible customer service. You are sent around between phoning, using the chat, messaging but no replies. Present not received, no contact with the company. The Clicking cheese should NOT have taken so many orders if they could not deliver on. I have seen that I am not alone in not receiving my order. I truly think this company needs to rethink its ability to meet customers orders and expectations.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Ordered on 12th December, i checked to make sure it would be delivered before christmas, which it said promised date 22.12. Didnt arrive on that date so I have called about 16 times (no answer) left about 5 messages, sent messages on Instagram & Facebook and no reply! How can a company operate in this way. If they are having problems, put out a statement and explain they have no stock or issue with courier etc. I have raised a complaint with trading standards and am going to contact my bank to see if they can help at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give them 0 stars i would. I wish I lived closer as I would go into the shops and collect my goods that I have paid for. I urge everyone who has had this awful service from them to raise a complaint with trading standards. Oh and they also delete messages from all their social media platforms, then block you from commenting. SHOCKING

I ordered some cheeses and other items on December 6th, hoping to make a Christmas hamper for my daughter and son-in-law. It is now 21st December & I still have not received the delivery. I have tried phoning numerous times and emailing but get no response. I will now have to try & source the food items elsewhere. Please do not order from this company!

Terrible service. You don't get the items you ordered and I had a missing truckle. Constant unanswered phone calls, answer phone messages and FB messages ignored plus numerous emails sent. I finally received a basic email response today but no mention re my missing truckle! See image.

After placing my order, it took long time to be delivered. I ordered some pickled onions which had leaked and four bottles of beer. All of the labels looked like they had been stuck on by a toddler! I have tried emailing and phoning numerous times with no answer. I did get an answer from fb messenger but this was only to tell me that I had contacted a store and they didn't deal with online orders. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

My item was dispatched on Friday 2nd December and has been in the Peterborough Mail Center ever since. The Chuckling Cheese Company do not respond to emails at all, despite saying they will within 24 hours. I emailed as soon as I noticed this was not moving on Monday 5th December, 4 days later I am still waiting for a reply. The Chuckling Cheese Company do not answer the telephone. I made several attempts on the 6th & 7th December. The Chuckling Cheese Company do not respond to voice mails you leave when they do not answer the telephone. The complete and utter lack of service received here when trying to rescue a lost Christmas present was disappointing and unexpected. When things go wrong it is a good measure of a business as to how easily you can contact them and what they will do to help put things right and on this basis I would actively discourage people from using The Chuckling Cheese Company. You simply can not rely on them to help you should things go wrong. I appreciate it looks as though this is an issue with Royal Mail but a complete inability to engage with The Chuckling Cheese Company will ensure that I never ever use them again and that is a great shame. At this point I am down the money I spent on the item with little to no hope of recovering the siutation.

SCAM!!! Don't order from this company as you'll never receive your order!! Just read all of the bad reviews on Trustpilot which will show you how many angry customers they have.

Ordered & took money from PayPal. 5 days later, no correspondance or confirmation & no goods. No response & any negative comments removed from post. Terrible service!! It's no wonder people buy from large organisations.

Don't bother ordering From this company You will never receive the items you paid for. I ordered an advent calendar on the 16/10 to be delivered on the 23/11 On the 25th they told me they had problems offered me 10% refund which I never received. They apparently dispatched my item on the 28th .it never arrived and was told by the courier that it was never dispatched Now it's a fight to get a full refund as its almost impossible to contact them

There seems to be a common theme here!!! I ordered two virtual pub gifts, I had an email saying it had been dispatched followed by another a few days later saying it would be late. I finally received an email saying sorry, item maybe lost, apply for a refund. This is where the fun started!!!! I contacted this company to first be told, refer to card put through your door? What card? Phoned again to be told, forward all emails regarding this which I duly did. They then sent me an email pic of my front door in October, no card present, (gets better) with another pic of a box in a warehouse in November in Lincoln which supposedly I’d collected at 7.52 on a Saturday with a completely different name!!! Also, I live in berkshire… do the geographical chuckling cheeses… No one but the poor assistant on the phone would talk to me.., shocking customer service, I am livid

Do NOT order from this company unless you want to be disappointed. Ordered goods and arranged a deliver, it appears that they allow you to order even if they don’t have the goods in stock. Awaited my delivery, didn’t turn up called and asked where my goods were, to be told they didn’t have 1 item. Would have been nice for you to call and advise that…. 3 calles later and still no goods

Nothing to Chuckle about when dealing with this company. After a poor experience with the company in December (ordered birthday present to be delivered on 19th December, it didn't turn up until 23rd December) I thought I'd give them another go. On 3rd February I placed an order to be delivered on 12th February, again for a present. I received no notification from them to say it had been dispatched so on 11th February I logged in to my account to find the order was still 'in progress' I tried to get an answer from the 'live chat' and was met with we aim to deliver as close as possible to the date requested - clearly not when it hasn't been dispatched the day before it was due for delivery. After emailing customer services i received an email to say it had been dispatched - it had at 17.37pm on a Friday evening, clearly no chance of it being delivered for the 12th. No surprise it wasn't and here we are on the 14th, still no sign of it. I won't be using you again, and I'll leave this review on every review platform to warn other people that they may well be disappointed with your service!

Wouldn't recommend if you want your order by a certain date. I asked for my order to be delivered Friday 17th which the company said they would dispatch a few days beforehand so it arrived by friday. But instead they dispatched it ON the friday so it's been sat in the postal depot from Friday all over the weekend and won't be delivered until Monday. I ordered my cheeses in plenty of time on the 1st Dec and the communication has been disappointing... I guess it's busy in the week up to Christmas and with Covid it's been hard. I did have this last year aswell but gave them the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately it is the same problem this year.
