Generally our experience was good at Huddersfield however we feel let down by discovering that they had MOT'd the car 3 months earlier than required after saying they would contact us when it needed doing. The promised follow up call was not received and we suspect that the mpg reading on the car may have been achieved on a rolling road and not the open highway.

Hi Trish, I'm sorry your experience at Colin Appleyard didn't meet your expectations. We take all comments & criticisms seriously, so I have passed your message on to our Sales Manager at Huddersfield who will give you a call in due course. We believe the sales person who dealt with you and your Suzuki Splash didn't explain the situation with the MOT clearly as we were trying to save you a trip back in 3 months time to MOT it, so Ali will call you to go through that With regards to the vehicle MPG, this is something stated by Suzuki and as such, we have no control over I'm afraid. Suzuki state on their website & marketing materials that "Fuel consumption figures are based on an EU test for comparative purposes only and may not reflect the real driving results". Weather conditions, driving style, journey type etc. are all factors that affect MPG, which is why they state that the figure is for comparative purposes only. Again, I can only apologise for us having not met your expectations with your vehicle purchase. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to get back in touch.

Very pleased with Colin Appleyard in Ashton, I couldn't have asked for any better! Excellent service from Dean who was extremely polite, patient and reliable. I felt very relaxed and informed throughout the whole process, which was especially appreciated as this was my first purchase. I am drawn to going back in future and would definitely recommend to anyone! Massive thank you to Dean and the whole team who are very friendly and helpful overall.

I have used Colin Appleyard in Keighley for several years now, with no cause for complaint whatsoever. My car recently developed a minor problem which they sorted out within minutes and at minimal cost. Their service is always cheerful and efficient, and I can unconditionally recommend them.

Very happy with the Suzuki Swift , we would recommend one to anyone wanting a small economical car. However we are very dissatisfied that agreed repairs haven't been dealt with as the dealership promised. (Still ongoing) Missing MOT certificate. The dealership also promised to post on to us.(Still ongoing) Unfortunately our experience has fallen little short of expectations! That said , I do understand things can & do go wrong! It's how there dealt with that makes the difference.

The whole experience was so easy and professional. Karl the sales man was very professional and straight forward. I told him what i wanted and i got it. I love my suzuki swift.

I bought my used GL1500, Barry was very friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bike. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. They did everything they said they would and even delivered the bike to York. I would definitely recommend Appleyards. Allan, York

i have just bought a new car - part exchange - and wish to record an excellent service from Colin Appleyard and in particular Jack Appleyard the sales person with whom, I dealt, for his courteous, efficient, positive and helpful style. The whole experience could not have been bettered..

From start to finish the Customer Service experience was very professional and the staff very competent. A big shout out to Dave (the Manager) who found the best deal for myself, and Andy who was friendly and very helpful. They really look after you and have made my experience an enjoyable one. I highly recommend Colin Appleyards at keighley.

just had my service and 'free' MOT. I paid £9.14 for my free MOT? I haven't taken advantage of the weekly wash and vac service I'm entitled to (being a service plan customer) before this service, so a little disappointed my boot hadn't been vacuumed. Nice friendly staff, but they should know the price of a tyre? And when I'm rung to say the car is ready to collect they should know how much my bill will be?

Dear Mrs Horn, I believe Colin, our service advisor, has spoken to you already to go through your comments here. You were not charged for the MOT and we're sorry about any confusion this may have caused, it is just the way it is displayed on the invoice because of the VAT element. We apologise that your boot hadn't been vacuumed - but Colin has assured me that we will valet your car the next time you're in the area, and if you give him a call the day before he will arrange that for you. Mr Ali has been most helpful in the aftersales service and has ensured that all our problems have been dealt with and has proven to be an honest and assuring man of his word! Cannon fault the aftersales service at all. Highly recommended. Mr Darren Bullas has also been very helpful when I have had any queries. Very prompt with his replies.

My husband and I have dealt with Suzuki and Colin Appleyard for many a year. We wouldn't buy any other cars. Your staff are so helpful and friendly. We like Brian the best. We have a laugh with him.

David was helpful, not pushy. He gave me a great, fair price for my car in part exchange and when he knew I was without a car for my journey home and might get a taxi (which he offered to organise) he sorted out a loan car for me for 24hrs.
