I ordered some food With them, I had a voucher gift , when I passed the order I booked a slot everything went well, but they put me on subscription and I never received any email about that, they took another payment, did a delivery without organizing any date, a throw the parcel over the fence during the holidays , when I came back I had to put everything in the bin, I would not recommend this website

We used to order from cook years ago and it was fabulous, not so this Christmas. The dauphinois potatoes just turned to mush , the carrots, no matter how long you cooked them for were hard and tasteless and the beef bourguignon needed cooking far longer than the instructions and was ok but just not enough meat. We will not be buying from them anymore.

Bought the Fish Pie for 8 for Christmas Eve. Cooked exactly as per instructions. It was awful. Mash topping was like a solid slab of something that bore little resemblance to the "buttery mash" described on the website. We also had the Salmon En Croute with Beetroot which was bland, dry and tasteless. We all had indigestion overnight. We have bought from Cook regularly over the years and were early supporters but after a number of appalling experiences in the past year we will not be buying again and would not recommend. Even the tried and tested Dauphinoise is a poor relation of what was originally produced by Cook. Quality and quantity has gone down hill.

We purchased the Christmas dinner for two. So disappointed. The turkey was acceptable. The carrots and parsnips were rock hard even after extra cooking. The sprouts and leeks were a total mush. The pigs in blankets just fell apart (the bacon used was so fatty). Unfortunately we chose the spinach and horseradish stack as a starter. Just full of stringy spinach. We will not be shopping there again.

I went into Cook in Berkhampstead on Fri 12th Dec 24 only to be told when I went to pay for my items you don't accept cash . I won't be coming back, as we should have a choice .Lots of people still prefer to use cash !

Just had Moroccan chick harissa dish and couscous . Last time I had this was about 3 years ago when it was delicious . Today I am very disappointed. Watery, with no ‘body’. Won’t be getting it again.

As a new mum I finally tried a range of dishes when I didn’t have any time to cook and thought this would be my absolute saviour over the next few months. After being disappointed with the first few I gave it another go and bought a selection of different meals to try - I have to say I can’t believe how bad I found it. It’s incredibly pricey and most of my dishes were half empty and filled…supposed to serve two and we both were left hungry and having to cook a meal after quite a few of them! On top of that as a bit of a foodie I’d describe most of the dishes as terrible flavour wise and full of fat and salt to get that cheat hit of ‘yummy’ without any actual skill or flavour having to be involved. Can’t understand what the hype is about…I’ll save by money for most supermarket oven meals…I honestly think they are better valid, flavour and healthier!

£25 for monkfish wrapped in pancetta. I have bought many dishes from Cook - all of which have been 'cook from frozen' or 'microwave and so invited friends round for dinner, thinking the meal would be cooked from frozen only to find that the fish had to be defrosted for 36 hrs. Yes, maybe I should have read the instructions but as their slogan is 'cook from frozen' I assumed this would have also refered to the fish!!! Anyhow, cooked the meal the following evening - fish was tasteless!!! Pancetta was tasteless!!! If it wasn't for the sauce which my son had made, I would have thrown the fish into the bin - how sad as I have enjoyed do many other meals from cook!

I bought Cook believing they didn't use additives. Mac cheese ham and cauliflower has dextrose, diphosphate, sodium ascorbate, sodium nitrite, and stabiliser (xantham gum). Disgusted that they claim not to be ultra processed.

No cash ? ! ! Dovehouse Parade has i would estimate a row of 30 retail outlets selling designer clothes to artisan bakery's . All accept cash ! I went in last week to buy a Cake for a bday ,i tried online to click and collect but the only slot was the next day ? Why its never busy , i decided to drive and pick it up but when i came to pay the lady said no Cash ? And the card i tried to buy online withs Pin i had forgotten . Ridiculous ,i had to go back home and my wife went to pay on her card. Gets even odder , she literally went up 10 minutes after i was there and the lady was rude and denied i had been in the shop ? Cake was ok, i won't use cook again purely on principal of no Cash . Bad business guys .

My partner got me the chocolate brownie cheesecake for my birthday. It was very disappointing that it all crumbled when we cut it up. The base was an inch thick. We felt like eating a giant cookie instead of cheesecake.

Full of preservatives, looked at the back of the kids spaghetti and it’s full of emulsifiers, preservatives, acids and rapeseed oil etc, none of which I would put into the food I cook at home - so I feel it’s very misleading to say it’s home cooked food. If I wanted food with lots of preservatives, I can get it from the supermarket where it’s the same list of ingredients under processed food. Very disappointing

So we spent £150 on meals as we are trying to be healthy. But each meal is tiny…. The packaging is misleading as they're the same size as anywhere else but once the food is cooked, whats left is tiny. My mrs is 5 foot four and weighs 50kg. She would need a 2 person meal and a side to be full. I thought a £4 rice would give enough rice for a side, unfortunately not. You are guaranteed to need to spend £8 on rice to get a portion. What an absolute rip off. If you’re a 70+ year old their portion sizes might be sufficient but for anyone else I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for food…

Absolutely foul. Nothing tastes like it should. Way too many vegetables in everything. Overpriced and literally has no flavour whatsoever. I wouldn't even pay a quid for these. If you haven't already, don't bother. No where near worth the money. Bought for convenience, wish I'd never wasted my money.

Tried Cook nut roast, mouth burning, sweating, can’t taste anything but chilli. I do have an allergy, so should have checked I accept that, but as I am vegetarian and cooked thousands of nut roasts I have never felt the need to wreck it with chilli it didn’t occur to me it would have chilli in it. Why? Ruined a good nut roast
