“Have used Cook meals for years, but recently, not only have prices risen like everything now, but the quantity in the trays seems less and quality not quite as good, have had chewy grisly chicken on occasions. Shame as this suited my husband and myself.”

Heard back from their HO with a patronising answer that it wasn’t their food and was I aware I could have been ill from lots of things, but not their food. I question the integrity of their food protocol and safety.”

“We used to be regular customers of Cook meals but the price has escalated and the quality has diminished. The meat in many dishes has now become almost extinct and with prices around the £11 mark it has become very expensive

“Bought Meat balls in rustic sauce. Don't know what you mean by rustic, it was just a thick tomato sauce hiding the fact that there're only 4 meat balls in the container for £6.25. Daylight robbery. I have been a customer of ours through our local Cp-Op but will not be. buying again. Your price increases are eye . watering and the quality is fast disappearing”
“Very low meat content for a premium pie at only 15% compared with 30% in most premium pie (Charlie Bingham, Waitrose etc) and the gravy was overwhelmingly oniony. Wouldn't buy again.”

“Cook meals were tasty ,varied and convenient as I had just finished surgery. We had 4 different meals. I found them a bit too salty and would urge you to reduce unhealthy levels of salt in otherwise excellent dishes.”
“I decided not to buy from CFook over 2 years ago after deciding their food had really declined in tase, quality and amount of 'fill in' over meat quantity. My husband came home with a large fish pie 2 days ago and it was absolutely disgusting. It tasted processed, w thought the was was made from dry potato and there was very little fish but a lot of sauce. It cost over £40 so my 20 year old daughter decided to try to salvage it with additives and real mash. however it still needed up in the bin. Even our greedy dog would not eat it. SO NOT BUYING FROM COOK AGAIN, which is a shame because when they started out they were brilliant.”
