“Poor customer service...I ordered a half rack of Lamb that is pictured And described as having 4 chops to it ...the one I received had 3 ...this was ordered to serve my self and my husband for our anniversary meal ...call me picky but if the picture shows 4 chops to it and the description says that then I consider it reasonable to expect that this is what I would receive ..I emailed to share my disappointment at only getting 1 chop whilst my husband gets 2 and the company sent their apologies that this had 'slipped past quality control' and confirmed that yes the description and photo shows 4 ribs and by way of an apology gave me a code for 10% off my next order ....well gee whizz!.. I'm a not certain how the the company comes to the conclusion that agreeing that the product does not match the picture or the description equals 10% off a further order taking a pot luck chance of receiving something that does match what you order ....well I'm afraid it's a no from me ...this was only my second order and my faith in the goods has taken a blow so I shall return to shopping in store where I can see what I am getting .....note...I work in a customer environment and if as a company you want to grow your customer base and retain your customers you need to Resolve any problems that arise not feed back transparent apologies and future discounts ...I did not want money off my next order all I wanted was the product I ordered in good faith to be correct or be replaced Julie”

Hi Julie, You have raised an interesting issue here that we will look to address. Lambs (Organic or conventional) are born with 7 ribs. Which means that creating half racks leaves us with a conundrum. Whilst the weight of meat that we guarantee with the half rack is always the same, the number of ribs in the rack will differ between 4 and 3. You are quite right to draw this discrepancy on the site to our attention, and we will amend the site accordingly. Customer Service is very important to us. So we will call you again today to see if we can resolve this differently. I hope you enjoyed the taste of the half rack? “Happy with the Gurnard I received but very disappointed with the half rack of lamb ..clearly pictured as having 4 chops to it but arrived with 3 this was ordered for an anniversary meal with my husband and although the weight was correct the size was not when I emailed to point this out I got an email back apologising and offering me 10% off my next order as the product was not as described and had slipped past quality control...call me picky but if you are going sell things that do not match your advertised description the least I would expect is that it would be replaced with a correct one.... Shame as this has spoilt my experience and I shall return to shopping in store where I can see what I am getting.. Beware when ordering as descriptions and photos it would appear may not match what you receive!”

“Very tasty and great that they are free able. You need a full pouch, half is not enough so does make the product expensive. I am not sure adding water would work as a soup but maybe for stock. I am taking these on the advice of a nutritionist along with Kefir to tackle a long standing bacteria issue - leaky gut so worth the cost to reverse the problem and improve symptoms.”

“Although it takes a little longer to cook,the flavour of the meat is amazing.Good value for money....you would pay a lot more in a supermarket.Very well packaged and driver messages you in the morning to give you an hour delivery slot.We will be trying the lamb next,it's already on order.”

“Quality of meat excellent, but consistency of stock not good. Ordered bacon via website on two separate occasions only to be told on delivery that it is out of stock. The website seems to think there is stock ?!?”
