“Wonderful range and so good to know meat is farmed with ethics and respect to animals. Just wish we lived nearer and could pick up the order, as the delivery company always seems to mess up in some way.”

“Box arrived on the correct day, however, whilst still cold the ice-packs had defrosted. One item was missing. I got an email about it, but it would have been better if it had not been "orderable". I don't understand how stock control is so hard on e-shopping, to mark an item sold out and not allow you to order it. Meat is well packaged, but you do need to "air it" as when first opened it all smells strong. The quality was good, although the chicken had less meat on it than other organic ones of the same weight.”

“The chicken thighs were delicious, have not tried the lamb yet but looking forward to that. Service was quick and efficient, I was kept informed of the delivery date and time, it was delivered exactly then they said it would be.”

“hi the salmon i recieved on wenesday is great however it was all defrosted i know i can freeze again but i dont like doing it. my order was sent in two lots a week apart . and was not informed till i rang and asked where my salmon was and was told you were short on salmon. I should have been informed before to try and get some from somewhere else.but thank you for nice meat and fish.”

“Tasty but a little bit of a kick from cayenne. Possibly should be made clear in the product name and have a lesser heated chicken burger option. Not for those who prefer milder tastes. Will definitely continue to buy but would prefer a "regular" chicken burger.”

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your honest feedback, we're pleased you enjoyed the taste, however apologise that you were disappointed with our portion sizes. As we are an Organic Farm, rearing our own meat, we don't actively breed all of our livestock nor do we use conventional feeding methods; allowing our animals to grow at their own rate. Often, this can mean we have limited stock and have to portion our meat accordingly. All weights are presented on our website - I hope this explains your concerns a little better, and we are once again sorry for any disappointment. The Coombe Farm Team

“Tasty bacon not too salty considering it's nitrate free . My only concern with buying organic,for health reasons, is that it's wrapped in plastic such a shame.”

“The meat is always excellent, however, sometimes it is on the way to being defrosted when it arrives.... But I would never go anywhere else for my meat, I know the meat is of a high quality and that the animals have been well cared for whilst alive. Can't ask for anything more.”

“Great service, I have only bought a few products so can't comment on them all I really like the venison haunch steak. Really lovely. Not keen on the venison sausages so I won't be ordering them again. Apart from a black pepper heat at the back of the throat there's not actually any flavour in them. I was very disappointed. I didn't get any hint at all of the cranberry that was supposedly in them. I haven't tried the neck rings yet but I'm looking forward to trying them in my slow cooker. One more thing, I know you have to pack everything in ice to stay fresh eh route but I really don't like the excessive plastic waste from single use ice packs. Can you find alternatives to these?”

Hi Lin, Thank you for your honest feedback - it is appreciated. We're pleased you enjoyed the haunch steak, however are sorry you were disappointed with the sausages, your comments will be passed on to our butcher team. At present we haven't found the right, sustainable alternative to ice packs for us - we have just updated our insulation to 100% sheeps wool. However, we do offer a packaging returns service which includes ice packs, so often we reuse ice packs that are sent back to us by our customers. The Coombe Farm Team

“I ordered two lamb shoulders. I slow cooked them on my smoker bbq for 7 hours. My friends were so happy with the results. The Lamb tasted amazing and went well im pitta bread abd a yoghurt and mint dressing.. Well done!”

“All of the meat & mince we ordered was absolutely fantastic, did a blind taste test against supermarket mince and it wasn't even close! Sardines were excellent also. Sadly the pies had either rapeseed oil or sunflower oil in I can't quite remember which so we didn't end up having those.”
