“Excellent quality. But bear in mind the meat arrives frozen not chilled. Also 24hrs in transit my last box was broken and wet underneath from defrosting. Make sure you are there to take it in straight away.”

“Lovely turkeys. Delivered on time. But I wish you would offer a jointing service. It was a very tiring job jointing, boning and packing three birds for the freezer and I am not skilled at the job. I know you sell joints but I like the whole bird, legs, wings, breasts, giblets and carcass. I freeze the joints for use throughout the year. The carcass makes wonderful stock and the odd bits of meat make rissoles, stews or curries.”

“The delivery was actually sent to some friends of mine. It arrived on the day arranged and they were very pleased to receive it. The only problem I had was that the order had to be £40 for a delivery to be made. As it was a Christmas present I had not anticipated having to spend quite so much money, but they will only have organic produce and yours has been the only place where I could order some Chrismas goodies.”

“I have tasted any yet since arriving frozen it all went straight into the freezer for the holiday. The delivery was on time and I was emailed once the things I wanted came into stock - very helpful.”

“Everything was very good. The reason I gave 4stars and not five was because I did not receive the mini soaps I had ordered. I received replacements of two larger soaps instead. I did write but no reply.”

“All meat was deeply frozen on arrival. Most of the weight of the box was ice blocks. Some of those burst making the inside wet, but no water made it to the box due to the lining. So far the products taste great. Not sure what to do with the box and ice blocks. Do you reuse/recycle them like some other farms do?”

“Coombs Farm Organic : great produce - especially the lamb - well packaged and delivered promptly . Would be great if there was an option to specific very lean beef mince I.e. 3% fat or less which is available from other organic suppliers in the market place . Prices are somewhere in the middle of suppliers that I use - quality is very good as expected at this price point and provenance . Would recommend and I would order again from CFO .”

“My box arrived on the specified day and at the time sent through, that day. Some of the items (at the ends of the box) arrived partially defrosted. We put them in the fridge and subsequently ate them. Turkey breast steaks and diced turkey were both very tasty, tender and not dry. Just a shame we had to have turkey 2 days in a row. I contacted them and they fully refunded the items. 4/5 because when it's the first order I think they should have gone a bit over the refund (goodwill gesture such as a discount voucher for the next order or a free gift with the next order. It's good marketing, because now all they have done is give me some free turkey with nothing to entice me to re-order.”

“Received a Yeo Valley box out of my tokens. When it arrived the bacon and the burgers were both already defrosted which was really disappointing as it stated that everything would be delivered frozen. Had to use them both really quickly which was a bit annoying as I had already meal planned for the week, and had a food shop delivered that day. Would have been better to have delivered fresh so I could have then frozen everything when it arrived as I have done in the past from another organic farm. Both the items tasted really nice but probably wouldn't order again due to the delivery arrangement. If you were able to deliver fresh burgers and bacon that I could then freeze, I wouldnt hesitate in ordering again.”

“hi i am happy with all the produse the only thing is the samon i had on last order was starting to thaw out.Its not a problem if i onley have a couple of packs but if i have a large order i carnt eat them up fast enough .also the liver maybe you cud place them in the centre of the ice packs delivery is great”

“we are very much enjoying the meat/fish we ordered but were upset about the amount of plastic freezer 'blobs' needed to keep food iced. We now live in a retirement flat (2 bed) space so limited. The thought of all that plastic being added to the already mountains was upsetting. I know that is a difficult problem for you but not sure how it can be resolved. Felicity”
