Sorry to say although the meat was good, 3 packets of bacon, one packet of sausages and the burgers were all partly defrosted so I had to give most away to save throwing them away. At least the rib of beef had not defrosted.

I ordered two of these but only one arrived. I have no issues with the quality but my request for a refund has essentially not been responded to. Also I paid extra for a morning delivery but it only came in the afternoon and again no refund. No issues with quality and this is the first time I have had issues.

The product seems fine, but two deliveries have arrived partially defrosted which is not acceptable. We are perhaps beyond the limit of reliable delivery (Fife in Scotland) with the packaging used. So we won’t try again, sadly.

Hi Andrew, We are really sorry to hear that your orders arrived defrosted, we completely agree that this is not acceptable. We operate using a third party courier service, which means we sometimes face delivery issues that are out of our control. Unfortunately being in Scotland does mean that the delivery service is slightly longer. We are currently trialing several courier services to see which service is most reliable for our customers. Unfortunately the beef was with gristle and was really difficult to chew. Other produce on same order ok, but beef joints x 2 not

Service went above and beyond as you hand-delivered our Christmas duck when DPD let you down. Absolute top marks for that. Unfortunately, I'm not happy about the duck themselves. There were 4 of us at Christmas so I ordered 2 of the 1.5-1.9Kg 'serves 3' birds. In my over 20 years of cooking duck for Christmas, I don't think I've ever had such skinny little birds before. They were both just 1.5Kg and hardly had any breast meat at all. I was frankly struggling to get 4 plates of food out of them.

Very disappointed to have to write a negative review but, having so far consumed 2 of the 6 products we bought for Christmas, they were both poor. The smoked streaky bacon was overly smoked, really thick and tough and inedible for one of us. The unsmoked gammon joint had, unexpectedly, no fat on it and having cooked it in exactly the same way we usually do for such a piece of meat, we ended up with very dry and not especially tasty ham. Now somewhat concerned about what the remaining items are going to be like.

My order arrived soft and no longer frozen. This is obviously a great shame as the food was wasted. I received a full refund.

I wouldn't order again, had much better from other organic farmers. Not a fan everything us delivered frozen, I would not of ordered if I would have realised.

I was very disappointed with the amount of plastic packaging and plastic ice bags that came with the order. I felt very bad - I was hoping I am doing the right thing for the environment. Also, the driver didn’t ring the bell but thew the whole box over the fence.

Hi Barbara We are very sorry that the DPD driver did not deliver to your door, this should certainly not be happening - can you please contact hello@coombefarmorganic.co.uk so we can look into this for you? Regarding the plastic surrounding the meat, at present this is the only packaging we are allowed to use as recommended by the Food Standards Agency to keep the meat safe to eat. It is fully recyclable and we are exploring alternatives. Equally the plastic ice packs can be recycled, or they can be returned to us to use again. Many thanks Jemima

EVERYTHING we ordered.came frozen. Not vacuum packed. Two bags were split. Exceptionally heavy box with 24 separate ice packs.It was left two floors below, in the lobby, when it clearly stated deliver to flat door.

I wouldn’t buy these again, the two steaks that were delivered looked completely different from each other and didn’t cook uniformly.
