My order was partly de-frosted and the bottom of the outer cardboard box had collapsed due to water leaking from the contents. This is the second time that this has happened.

I was looking forward to this. However the courier left the box on the doorstep in blazing hot sun. When we found it the meat had begun to defrost. I was helpfully told that the defrosted meat would be good for up to five days. That was a lot of meat to get through in five days - which the two of us did not manage. The offer of £10 off next order was useless as won't be buying again from a company using a useless courier. The meat - of what we managed to eat - some was good and tasty some, not so much.

I won't write a review because the meat was tough. It was well beaten and thinned (for Saltimbocca) and properly cooked. I have been cooking Italian food for over sixty years. I was delighted you are into rose veal but this was a disappointment. In my opinion it was offered too early. The minute steaks were better but not hugely so. I have not tried the rest. If you want anything more call me 01507 328463.

I wanted a fresh organic duck but found minimum order was £40 so topped it up with sausages and burgers and a can of sardines. The Sardines did not arrive, I called and spoke to a woman 8 days ago that didn't apologise, just said " this seems to happen a lot" and promised to mail them to me, nothing yet. The duck was mediocre, as if it had been frozen rather than fresh as described. Meat had a dry texture, little fat. The sausages were not much better. I have yet to try the burgers. Underwhelmed, I will not be a return customer.

My order arrived with 17 double freezer packs.What a job getting rid of them! I have only tried the rabbit, so far, which bizarrely had only 3 legs.

So far I have tried the streaky dry cured back bacon- sorry this was actually unpleasant, far too fatty and left the pan with a great deal of residue. The back bacon was ok but no better than M&S. The pork chop disappointing. The DR rib-eye steak again disappointing - not as good as Sainsburys finest. Overall I am extremely disappointed as the duck we had at Christmas was fabulous and I had high hopes. .

Unfortunately, the turkey had frozen in parts then defrosted. The overall flavour tasted a bit off. The rest of the meat was good.

My interaction with CF was marred by a poor performance by the Courier. My initial shipment was "damaged and dumped". The company then offered me a refund, I had to decline this so close to 24/12 and push for a replacement order. Looking for an organic crown of turkey, so near the close for Christmas is not my idea of fun. This in turn had two side effects, awaiting the second delivery was anxiety-producing and as the side of salmon, ordered for a guest with dietary restrictions was to be absent from the replacement shipping, I had to drive 80 miles to source from a "local" seller. The shipping charges were high and for a before 1200hrs delivery, so were incorrect anyway. I was led to believe the delivery miss was a rare occurrence, however, when I checked the reviews it is evident the Company needs to change its Delivery service. Shame on me, if I had checked beforehand I would have chosen another supplier. The turkey crown itself was ok, but not startling, nicely shaped crown, moist and with some flavour but overpriced at £100. My other 5 online food deliveries were all on time and delivered intact.

This mince is delicious.. of course cooked 'my way'! However, I had to cook all 6 packets at once as they had started to defrost. The box they came in was spit open and the tape that the courier had used to keep it together hadn't kept it airtight... I have just seen that my complaint went to DPD and they didn't reply.

Bought two 1kg gammons - both were already 11 months old - please see attached images - old stock - only 1 month to eat it or bin it - also both had already started to defrost on arrival - customer services argue they are totally within their right's legally to sell 11 months old produce so don't care but imagine buying 10 to stock up your freezer + getting stock already 11 months old with only 1 month left on them !! - make your own mind up - I have.

We are sorry you were unhappy with the use-by date on your product, legally we can place twenty-four months on our product, but to help with our stock rotation we only place twelve months. We know the quality of our organic meat will still be exceptional once defrosted because we are swiftly freezing our products straight after they are butchered.

I enjoyed the leg of lamb. However, the 17 ice packs that occumpanyedb it left a serious sour taste and until you change packaging I will not be returning. The ice packs are also full of this expanding jelly and roll some twenty minutes to clean up and dispose of? Jan Norton

Ordered three porterhouse steaks (nearly £60), found them to be really thin, so impossible to cook rare - will not order from Coombe again.

This meat cost a lot of money and wasn't worth the expense. I ordered beef sausages - okay - salt beef - awful - and a very expensive chateaubriand, which I haven't tried yet. £62.00 and nothing to recommend it. I am sorry, Coomb Farms, but you need to do something about your flavours.

Quick delivery, good choice of foods. I ordered four different items, so far cooked salmon fish heads - they were smelly, very much not fresh, I bought them to make soup but had to discard the stock. We really struggled to eat those heads, only because I’m very thrifty I did eat them and felt rather unwell. I really hope other items will be better, but apprehensive to cook anything else yet. Sadly, I’ll not order again.

The bacon wasn't very crispy & my husband gave at least half of it to the compost bin. It reminded me more of lardons than bacon. I do thank you though, for being organic, it means a lot to the environment.

i SENT YOU AN EMAIL AFTER MY ORDER WAS DELIVERED AND NO ONE HAS HAD THE COURTESY TO REPLY TO IT - NOT IMPRESSED ONCE AGAIN THE BOX WAS LEFT ON MY DOORSTEP 2 METRES FROM THE STREET AND IN FULL VIEW - NOT IN A SAFE PLACE - THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE BEFORE AND EACH TIME I COMPLAIN - EVEN LESS IMPRESSED i WAS IN - NO ONE RANG THE BELL - MY NEIGHBOUR TEXTED ME TO SAY IT WAS ON THE DOORSTEP BOTTOM OF BOX WAS DAMAGED AND OPEN AND WHEN I UNPACKED IT SOME OF THE FOOD HAS STARTED TO THAW - SO UNIMPRESSED I LOVE YOUR FOOD HOWEVER NOT OK WITH YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE
