The item arrived broken. I have emailed and left an answerphone message but still haven’t heard back. I wish to return the goods and receive a refund. I do not expect to be charged for postage. Your early reply would be appreciated. Anne Purdon

Hello Anne, sorry to read your review. Since this is not the way we treat customers I have checked our emails right away. I can see we got your email on the 30.11 to which we replied on the 2.12 apologising for the damaged toy (couriers issue) stating we are going to replace your toy, therefore your review stating you have not heard back is misleading. We are in the process of arranging a replacement toy for you as advised. Kind regards CT&I.

Never got the items . Stated that delivery company attempts delivery twice but I received no card to advise . Offered resend but with a delivery fee again even though I explained the situation. Not happy with them at all

Hello Donna, sorry to read your review. After checking your order and correspondence we can confirm that your order was dispatched the next day and delivery was attempted 2 times and then held at the depot for 5 days before being returned to us. When any of our orders are dispatched customers receive dispatch emails as well as email notifications on every step of the delivery, also via SMS with an option to change or amend your delivery. Couriers don't tend to leave cards any more as deliveries are managed online. As the order came back to us we are also charged by DHL for this and therefore if an order has to be resent due to the customer not able to receive or rearrange delivery, we have to charge our standard delivery fee. I haven't received my order and I'm trying to understand why. It has been a week since I made it. I tried with the chat online but no one is answering. There are no e-mail directions to complain. The sending company just says the package is delayed. They wouldn't give me more information. What's happening?

Hi, thank you for your feedback. As discussed we called the land line supplied with your order but had no answer. We also got your chat message from our site, but this was on a Sunday where our team are not always available, however, our website contact page has our email and full contact details on it for any future reference. Unfortunately, as we could not get in contact with you to discuss your order with regards to a payment error it has been delayed. We have now managed to get hold of you and are processing your order. Ordered weeks ago and the item didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. Terrible service and very disappointing for my little girl who specifically asked Santa for that item

The mirror I ordered arrived with a massive scratch. Unfortunately I can’t return as I am moving from the country. Very poor packaging!

Good afternoon, Sorry to hear that you are not happy with your customs charge. Unfortunately this is due to Brexit and something completely out of our hands. We have been in contact with you and always replied to your emails. As adivsed your order was shipped with TNT last week. Frustratingly there are delays with these deliveries into Europe at the moment, so things are not arriving as quickly as we would hope. Recalled my order due to another persons damaged order as my order had to be the replacement for the damaged item. Poor.

Hello, looking at your order details we are sorry that this occured, we had an existing order with a customer who's toy arrived damaged and of course we had to treat them as a priority. We had offered an alternative which was not acceptable to you and your refund was processed within 24 hours. We apologise we could not help further on this occassion.

Hello Tom, As per our email correspondence last week your parcel was unfortunately lost. Your dolls house was dispatched as scheduled on the 6th November as It was a pre order item, as shown on the product page. We then received an email on the 18th November saying it was not received. We looked into it immediately and advised that there is no scan history and most likely it has been unfortunately lost. Since your order, the dolls house has sold out and we are expecting more stock on the 26th November (this information was provided to you last week) which you told us you were happy to wait. We will contact you by email to discuss a refund.

Item arrived over a month from order / payment went through. I had to continually chase up with cottage toys.

Hi Paul, I are very sorry that there was a delay with your order. The item that you ordered is one of our few non stock items which are made by a small company in Latvia. Normal shipping is around 10 working days, however in this instance there was sadly a longer delay. We did try to keep you as updated as possible but I do understand your frustration and I am genuinely very sorry for the upset caused. Product still hasn’t arrived. Showing as in delay at shipping company. Have sent 2 emails to ask for help and no reply. Very poor customer service, would not recommend.

Hello, I am very sorry for the confusion. I have just checked back through my emails and we did reply to your message on the 7th August to inform you of the situation and that the courier is trying to locate your parcel in one of their depots. Unfortunately this mean a 24 hour wait for any update I also asked if you wanted us to send out another one to avoid any further delays. Upon further correspondance with yourself via email this morning you advised you never got this email. I made an order for a conversion kit in december, received on the end of june! I think you should have been a little commercial and offer a discount or a little gift to apologize!
