“Cottage toys is a lovely website. Ordering was easy and the item arrived quickly and was well packaged. I’m a cranial osteopath & I wanted a rain maker that wouldn’t roll off the couch and startle the babies when it hits the floor. The rainmaker I ordered arrived promptly. It is flat which limits the amount of beads and therefore the white noise effect but I have found that very small babies and children with additional needs seem to like it more than the round plastic one we have. It’s very well constructed, the only reason I gave it four stars is that a couple of the beads get stuck quite often.”

“Cottage toys had the products I was looking for at the best price I could find. They delivered promptly, and, although the outer box was broken, the courier checked I was fine with the contents before leaving. Gifts have yet to be given and used, so I’ll comment on those after Christmas. Satisfied customer so far. Thank you”

“I bought the BigJigs My First Doll House from here and it arrived well packaged and in good time. Thank you. The roof of the house does have some slight paint damage which is a shame as it’s quite obvious on the roof. However this is not the fault of cottage toys, I feel it should have been picked up on by BigJigs when packing.”

“I rate cottage toys highly as a small company . However DHL delivery has been a problem. There was someone in the house at the time of delivery yet the package was taken to a drop off point. Then it was signed for by someone else and taken. So I never received the package and missed the toys which were a gift. So no toys and no refund. Currently awaiting DHL response”

“From ordering to delivery it all went very smoothly, it went a little quiet right after ordering and I was panicking a little about the delivery date,but I had no need to worry as the delivery arrived within about 9 days.”

Hi, thank you for your lovely review :) Just had to check the delivery of 9 days mentioned since we usually send out our items really fast..! Your order was placed on the 16.09 (Friday) and then we dispatched it on the 20.09 (19th was Queens Funeral) and it was delivered on Wednesday 21st according to DHL. There should have been numerous emails regarding the delivery, sometimes they may go into your spam. If there is anything else we can help with in the future please let us know. Kind regards CT&I

“Hi thank you for this opportunity to send a review..... I am really satisfied with my product it's just what I was expecting. Unfortunately I am not happy with DHL delivery service that was used to deliver your product. I have sent them a separate email of complaint and informed them I would also be contacting your company. My package was delayed time and time again. I had to phone them several times and was told it had been put on the delivery van, then it had been taken off the van.... then it was at the collection point? Then it was at the depot and not been delivered???? Yesterday I had to drive to the other side of the city to collect it myself!! I just felt your company should be aware of this unsatisfactory service.”

“Great store and delivery. I must remember to check sizes, as the Olli Ella Dozy Dinkum Doll is much smaller than anticipated. A gorgeous toy, which is why I'll keep for my baby but the size doesn't reflect the price. No fault of the shop though.”

“Very happy with the delivery time but disappointed that I didn’t receive the 10% off my first order that my sister did who placed an order a couple of days after me! Also the Birdie Tea Set box was squashed which didn’t look very nice and it was a present.”

Hi Joanne, Sorry to see you did not take advantage of your special discount, we will extend this for you on your next purchase. With regards to the squashed box, we really do our best to pack the boxes as safely as possible as we know many of our toys are intended for presents. Everything we ship goes in boxes with cardboard 'bubble' wrap so it is very unfortunate that that toy did not arrive in tip top condition. We will also investigate this further with our warehouse. Thank you
