“Not happy. Wanted the Ark wooden toy, found it, ordered it paid for it complete with carriage charge. Then was asked to sign up to get 10% off my first order AFTER I’d placed my first order! Wrong way round! I emailed pointing this out along with the “promotion” code but, as yet, over a week later, no one has bothered responding. I realise the 10% was worth than £4 (which would have covered most of the carriage charge) but it’s the fact that nobody was interested enough to answer my email that is just plain rude and not what I would consider good customer service.”

Our email system does not ask to sign up after placing an order to gain 10% off, this is currently provided when you sign up to our newsletter on the homepage, or if you have left something in your cart. “Team chased up on a late delivery and had another product on stand by to be dispatched if required. Great responsiveness. Opportunity to monitor deliveries and be proactive in the event a delivery is late but brilliant responsiveness when flagged.”

Hello Mike, I have just picked up your negative review you left this am. Sorry to see the parcel has not turned up, I have quickly checked our inbox and could not see any correspondance from yourself so we were unaware of any issues with your parcel. I have tracked your order and it was placed on Saturday 2nd and dispatched on Monday 4th, there is a tracking scan when it left us and then nothing further which unfortunately probably means the courier has lost the parcel. We will contact them on Monday to find out what has happened to it and if we can get it back. In the meantime we will get another back out to you on Monday. Someone from our team will be in contact Monday to arrange redelivery. Kind regards, James

“I was amazed when the dolls house i ordered arrived the next day. I haven't assembled the house yet as it is a present for my grandchildren but it looks very nice and i'm sure it will make them very happy. I would certainly order again from your company.”

“The product was absolutely gorgeous and recipient was delighted. Really special, not something they'd ever seen before and definitely no duplicates in the birthday gifts! Only thing that would make Cottage Toys better would be offering the option of a gift message and gift receipt.”

“Dolls house our little Granddaughter loves it we got it for her 2nd Birthday It was easy to assemble for the money was expecting more little details and roof wasn’t as secure as expecting but main thing our little Granddaughter loves it”

“I love the doll I bought for my daughter 2nd Birthday, but I’d have liked the box with the doll wrapped in a nicer package, not just the dhl bag. But otherwise, very happy with the shop, you have lots of beautiful toys!”

“The ordering and delivery of the digger was very efficient Unfortunately I can’t yet comment on the toy itself as it’s a present and his birthday isn’t until May. I’ve taken it out of the box and everything looked good but until he starts to play with it I can’t say any more”

“Loved my purchase from cottage toys. Delivery as a little misleading as I was told it was going to arrive on one day but came another. However, I still got my delivery in time for Christmas so no problem.”
