“We have just returned from our holiday. We spent approximately one hour and came straight home. It’s an unsafe, rickety mess. The lawn was being cut when we got there obviously not been rented since last bad review. It was dirty. Sockets were loose. The bathroom tap was loose. The cooker was filthy and rusty. Fridge freezer didn’t work. The garden was a tip. The handle on the lounge door came away in our hand. The windows were stiff and could not be opened. It’s a disgrace. The owner swore at us and put the phone down. I have spoken to the helpline who do not appear to know the names of management, do not hold records of previous emails or phone calls. The properties are inspected “every couple of years”. How can inspecting properties every two years be any good? No refund has been offered and when I asked was told “you won’t be getting one”. Horrendous experience.”
