“Strongly suspect fraud within the company as despite telling them someone was trying to pretend to be me and search for a loan a month or 2 later they allowed a fraudulent loan to go out (it was stopped) and again someone has tried again a hard search for another loan using this company. This is despite me having a cifas on the account and them putting one after the first attempt . I think they need to look more closely at their fraud prevention measures”

“Truly awful customer service and product.
Initially advised Creation that I was going abroad a few weeks ago and was advised to call back again within a few days of leaving the UK to go overseas as allegedly they cannot set my card to be used abroad until within the week prior of going overseas, although other credit card providers have no issues whatsoever doing this action well in advance.
During the second telephone conversation on the same subject, I was informed that there was already a note on my account to state I was going to Poland on 29/09/22 and returning home on 06/10/22, and that I could use my card whilst abroad.
Tried to make a purchase on my outbound flight but unsurprisingly thus was declined. Attempted again to use my card in Gdansk but again the transaction was declined.
Tried again on two occasions this morning to pay dental bill but again each attempt to pay was refused.
Now trying to get through to their work class customer service team (I have now been waiting over 26 minutes for an answer).
For a peaceful and stress-free life, do not use Creation Finance at all.”

“The absolute lowest of the low. I apply using a soft search, this was approved, it then asks you to do a full application for a line of credit to make purchases from Currys. I was then approved with an account number and an online portal to manage and log in to see the line of credit of £1500. So i go to buy an item and go through the laborious process of purchase using this credit to find i am declined!!.. i call them & thats like speaking to mannequins, they tell me to check my file, well i work in FCA line of business so I check my file weekly and there is nothing but “excellent” on everything so thats just a fob off by them, it boils down to i am a property investor buying, selling houses etc so my file is always searched by mortgage lenders but oh no try telling them that and instead all they use is some computer… so i have been encouraged to have a hard search, get offered a line of credit then boom… they turn you down.. seriously do not bother, they are a utter waste of breathing air.”
“Opened an account and realized the DDM had not been set up for the first payment, so made an online payment the day before due date. Have been pestered for an overdue payment whilst out of the country and charged £30 default fee. When spoke with Creation, I was advised they hadn’t received the DDM mandate from Currys in time (despite it all being completed online in store) and any payment made before the due date is classed as an overpayment and I was still in arrears! Had to make another payment to clear the supposed arrears so am now in advance, however, if the DDM is not set up for the 2nd payment and I don’t make a payment ON the due date, I will be in arrears again. Confused, I am, wouldn’t recommend as they seem to make up the rules as they go along!”

“Should be shut down by FCA They are law unto themselves! Ignorance is a polite way of explaining this bunch of thieves . Avoid this company at all costs ! I’m cancelled my DIRECT DEBIT as an attempt to get someone to take notice of me . I’ve also reported them to FCA and my personal Bank ,, in reference to others having money taken without an agreement. . Anyone with a CREATION account should be very careful as I believe they will be shut down soon ,, and they are taking people s money without permission or knowledge.”

“About 4 different login screens and not clear which one is for your finance agreement. Eventually got in after multiple password resets. Tried to pay the balance off in one, error with some code. Emailed them, the response was the address needs updating. Cant update address online they have to do it. They also gave bank transfer details in email which come up with a bank I have never heard of and my lloyds said they cannoy verify the recipient. The acc/sort code was completely different to the one listed on the website FAQs. They updated the address via email, still get the error when trying card payments. AVOID!!!!”
“Horrible service and their online portal is extremely faulty. I e-signed my agreement three weeks ago, only to find out today that this has not gone through. I was only notified by the company I made the purchase from that there was a document pending signature, even though I had signed for it. I had to try multiple times to sign again, the portal was showing errors, document downloaded as signed, but showing on my account as pending signature. Rude customer service, when I explained to them that I had signed three weeks ago, and that they should have notified me that something went wrong, they kept insisting that I only just signed, and not admitting that it was their faulty system, not taking any responsibility for not notifying me, and that my product will now be even more delayed because of them. DO NOT USE!!!!”
“Sarah was a brilliant advisor in customer care she was extremely knowledgable & very helpful with my problem I bought an AEG hob online from currys & found out there was a £20 price difference Sarah immediately emailed currys to ask for the authorisation to deduct the over amount of £20 charged on my creation IDPLAN Sarah also explained if my a/c does not show the correct balance within a few days I should ring creation back thank you Sarah
