“I had placed order on 26th July and after 11days of wait they r saying I can take refund and that to 10Aed less in the refund. I would recommend not to shop with them anymore. Customer service is so bad. They r so rude they keep repeating the script. It started happening since the company is taken over. Earlier they had amazing service and parcel use to rch within the timeline”

“The box came almost completely destroyed, with tags on it from the carrier saying it was received unsealed and damaged. Why they gave it to the carrier like that in the first place, or the carrier proceeded to ship is a mystery. On receipt, the contents had leaked and the spray nozzles had detached, and one was entirely missing ( and the one that was still in the box keeps falling off after being re-attached). I sent pics and they keep emailing demanding pics of the damage TO the product, as if dried up leaks, or loss of volume in a spray bottle even COULD be depicted. They have offered NO solution other than demand more proof. I am contesting the charge and expect a full refund from the Credit Card co.”

“What happened??? The orders used to arrived packed perfectly but the last 2 orders (worth in excess of £400) have been in crumpled boxes, damaged or missing. I'm sad to say this is now the end and I will not be using cult beauty again.”

“Absolutely terrible service. Cult refused to refund me for product I paid for but NEVER received. All they kept saying was "We've looked into it, there is no issue." I ordered 24 items, order value of £450. The package arrived incomplete, missing 7 items valued at £120. After submitting an enquiry for a refund, Cult indicated that according to their records they had shipped everything and that there was nothing else they could do. They also indicated that my web account was closed and I was no longer allowed to make purchases from Cult (as if I had done something wrong!!!!) This is the first time I have experienced customer service like this and am truly shocked.”

“I have ordered products worth 240 euro. They never arrived. When I asked for the status and a request to send the package again, they replied that they issue a refund in 4-5 workind days. I have written 5 more emails, the chatbots replied the same. Thankfully I paid via Paypal, so by raising the complaint, I will probably get back my money. But never again. What a s*tty company to treat their consumers like this.”

“They use the rubbish , cheap parcel delivery service to deliver the makeup, they charge for next day delivery service but fail to deliver next day , will never order from them again best to avoid this company , go to proper retailers as their prices are the same as other retailers”

“There was a mess up whereby I was charged via PayPal but order not pushed from my basket. No biggie it happens, but the way they treated me afterwards!! 5 msgs on their website acct msg channel, 2 DMs in the website, a Facebook post and a messenger DM and I got the same bland “oh we are SO sorry we shall look asap” and then they never do. Absolutely appalling customer service and they take your money without goods rendered. I used to be an active customer but I will be closing my account. They never gave any good deals anyway I’m not entirely sure why I stayed.”

“Unbelievably bad customer service...the store I opted for delivery to have kept my order (stating they don't accept Royal Mail deliveries, even though I have a tracking photo of him accepting it from the RM driver) I've spent the last week via email, chat and social media trying to get a missing item form...it takes them almost two days to reply on Facebook and always with another question so you wait another two days after answering that...since Cult Beaty was bought over in April they are a complete shambles.”

“Deleted my account for no reason. No one responding properly. Don’t know what’s going on. Their service has gone really bad. Used to love shopping here now it’s honestly a very useless site and service provided is really bad.”

“I never received my order that I ordered on the 19th of May they keep on saying it is going to come soon its been 6 weeks now still nothing, now they say is was lost in transit so now I have to request refund or replacement. After waiting six weeks and being told over and over it is coming now it is lost. I am honestly disappointed I will never attempt to order here again all you get is disappointment.”

“You DO have to PAY CUSTOMS TAXES IN THE EU! They are lying on their website. I had to pay almost 20EUR for customs and I raised the topic with customer services a week ago…no straight answer (5 different agents and 5 different “answers” Unless you want to pay almost half of your package worth in taxes (even tough they say cult beauty will cover the costs)…don’t buy here.”

“What a twisted company. Having spent hundreds of pounds on makeup they cant even be bothered to cover the cost of return postage. God forbid you end up wanting to return something and make an error...good luck to ya. no direct messaging, one is required to wait DAYS for a response if lucky. They are so backwards with communication, you'd think in this day and age they'd get their backsides in gear?!”

“Ordered 3 Kayali perfumes when they were on sale. Used a gift voucher gifted by my workmates. Did not show on my account but I was given an order number. When I tried to ask where my items are, they said order was cancelled and my account closed. Now I am chasing where my gift voucher was…they are not giving me the proper response. Been more than a week now and still no gift voucher back. Very atrocious beauty online store. Never buy from this scammer!!!!”

“Absolutely appalling service,the live chat is never live I have been fed lies about them sending out a replacement and was told I wld get next day delivery as I received an empty box with no product. They are a scam I’m still waiting and it’s day 4!!! Don’t buy from them they are a scam of a company!!”

“Simply terrible customer experience. I would not recommend buying anything from Cult Beauty. Purchased a £400+ LED mask which is broken and Cult Beauty will not help me to get it fixed. Appalling service.”

“First, they mislead in their shipping policy. You receive an e-mail that it will take 2 weeks, but upon inquiry they say it will take 21 days. Second, the customer service people will lie to you. On the website message, they said I still have to wait for the 21 days and that I will receive my order eventually, but upon Instagram inquiry, they said both of my 2 parcels (because I made the mistake of reordering when it was first misplaced) are classed as lost in post. They have no communication with the delivery team - after you receive the e-mail that your order has been shipped (which can be a lie, because my first package was never actually shipped), they don’t care at all about the status of your order. After one month, I was not able to receive my order or to get a refund. I could never use the link they sent for tracking my order , as it showed that FedEx had no reference of my order on file. If you check Instagram you’ll see that there are a lot of comments with people not being able to get their money back or their orders. I didn’t know this :( Do not order from them.”

“Awful customer service. I ordered 2 expensive eyeshadow pallets last week with next day delivery and unfortunate enough for me I only received 1. I escalated this immediately to the customer service team who promised a refund over their live chat and via email. 4 days later I received an email informing me that the warehouse team did pack both pallets and as they have cctv in the warehouse and ‘weight scanning technology’ they basically accused me of being a liar and that I will not receive a refund nor a replacement pallet. On top of this they shut my account down and denied me of any further orders, not that this is an issue as I would never order from this awful business again. They would not even chase with the courier to see if my item has gone missing in transit l.”
