Literally the worst experience throughout the entire wedding process. Firstly the company did not want to honour the quote they had given us. The upon negotiating the owner told me to shop around and if a company can do it for cheaper, he'll match the price. When I did that and the owner did not want to match the price, he told me that I "won't be seeing a penny of my deposit back". He was unbelievably rude throughout several phone calls, ended calls abruptly, wouldn't return calls, lied when I confronted him about shopping for a better quote - he said that never happened. Overall a completely untrustworthy, awful, horrific service with an arrogant, pompous, condescending owner. Im amazed the business has been running for nearly two decades because the service from head to toe absolutely stunk. I cannot speak lowly enough about this company. AVOID. Even if they're the last wedding car company on earth, find the nearest astroid to take you to your big day.

DO NOT USE!!!!! SCAM COMPANY, DIDN'T TURN UP TO TAKE ME AND MY BRIDAL COMPANY RO MY WEDDING, CAUSED ME SO MUCH STRESS AND I WAS LATE TO MY CEREMONY AFTER STRUGGLING TO FIND LIFTS FOR MTSELF AND ALL MT BRIDAL PARTY.

Avoid avoid avoid !!! I had an email on Wednesday for a limousine I had booked on Saturday to say there going into liquidation, since then I’ve spoken to numerous other companies who have said they have done this loads of times and are always taking peoples money!!

So disappointed. Ordered a rolls Royce got a converted London Cab. Dad is disabled and couldn’t get in the car sent as we had not practised (like we had the Rolls). No partial refund for receiving a converted cab instead of the £400+ Rolls Royce we had ordered 11 months before. Customer service shocking, was told they got me there so fulfilled the contract despite the driver watching my dad get into a taxi instead of the wedding car with his daughter.

28th of May booked and payed for Champaign brandworth car A car arrived to pick the groom up The wrong car my partner had to tell the driver it was the car (he replied are you sure) that was the first thing that went wrong He took him to the registry office around 15.50 Got a call from cupid saying our car had Broken down He then came to pick me up less than a Mile away from the Crown Plaza Hotel Took him 30 min was already late for my Wedding getting married at 16.15 Got to the registry office at 16.30 I was in tears as I didn't know if I had missed the time slot Luckly my partner had begged them to wait and they did Came out of the registy office the right car was there He took us to the reception and I said where is the champagne the driver said at the side of me We should have had it as we drove to the reception Got to the reception Had photos around the car went into the reception to meet our guests Came out later the car had left We had it booked till 19.30 He left an hour later Put a complaint in we got offered £50 as, a good will gesture We had a very stressful wedding day due to this

They managed to arrive to my wife's home with the booked rolls Royce however they failed to drive her to the wedding venue as the car stalled and wouldn't start. Luckily due to it failing to move my wife in her wedding dress was able to jump in her dad's car and get to the wedding Problems happen but when "Simon" attempts to Avoid refunding due to it being an old car I disagree

Do not use this company! They are rude and can not get in touch with them when you need to. The cars are old, the staff and director are rude. Ruined my wedding and now they won’t answer the phone to deal with there poor services!

Be very cautious of their deposit policy and don’t fall into the same trap we did. They ask for a large 50% deposit upfront that’s non-refundable. Generally non-refundable deposits should be small and not reflective of the total sum so this goes against best practise. Best practises also state that they should only keep an amount sufficient to cover any costs that resulted from your cancellation. We booked with them for our wedding. Our plan was to have our ceremony and reception at two different venues and use the car to transport us between those locations. However, we had to move our wedding to 2021 due to the pandemic. When we moved it we made the decision to hold the entire event at the same venue to make it easier to move it again if the pandemic continues into next year. American Pie did offer to move it for us free of charge but because we were holding the event at a single venue that meant we no longer needed the car so we cancelled with them. I asked for the deposit money back, they refused. I then said that I don’t think it’s fair for them to keep the full amount but offered to work with them to find a fair compromise. I suggested they give me a breakdown of all the costs they’ve incurred as a result of our cancellation and keep an amount sufficient to cover that. Or they keep half of the deposit as reimbursement and send me the other half. They had no interest in reaching a compromise and were unsympathetic. In the end, they rather arrogantly said our choice was to either move the booking or lose the money. So we lost the money. It’s partly our fault for not scrutinising the terms and conditions more when we purchased (lesson learned!) but I just wanted to highlight this for awareness to other people booking in future.

They sent the wrong car while ours was parked on the forecourt according to the owner. No champagne was offered even though it was included on the booking. We got married in August and are still awaiting a response (23rd November) despite emailing and calling a number of times. Only the owner who is never on site or conveniently in the forecourt at the time of phoning can deal with complaints. The only positive was that they turned up on time and arrived at the venue on time.

If your looking for a limo for your wedding day then !!!STAY AWAY!!! from Cupid Carriages. First of all the driver didn't know where to go even though it was a 5 min drive from the hotel to where the ceremony was held (he had a month to do a little recon on pickup and drop off). The driver had to ask the bride constantly for directions, and the driver looked like he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. Then there was supposed to be a red carpet and 2 bottles of bubbly(didn't get any at all) when I emailed them asking to be refunded for the bubbly they replied saying it was supposed be be complimentary and wasnt included in the price of £250 i paid. Then the baby phantom limo was in a state as the paint on the outer roof was peeling the sills had a massive dint in it. To expect things to go wrong on your big day is a given, but everything on our day went perfect no problems we was only let down by the limo service received. I could have Paid for a taxi to drive the 1 mile that we had to go there and back(at least he wouldn't have had to ask for directions and he wouldn't have charged £250 for the pleasure. All in all a very third rate service so look elsewhere for a limo. Ps you pay through another limo company called American Pie limos so seems a bit shady but thought I'd let you be aware of them as well.

AVOID!! Cupid Carriages changed my car the day before my wedding. It was getting wrapped (for some odd reason at the start of the wedding season) and came back damaged so I had no choice but to go with an alternative. I booked my wedding car around 2 years in advance! My car I booked was a Rolls Royce Ghost and I chose a Rolls Royce Phantom as the alternative (it was that or a Bentley) I did complain the day before my wedding and asked for compensation to which my complaint was disregarded. They said on Facebook that a Rolls Royce is what I ordered and a Rolls Royce is what I got. Completely different models! I left an honest and truthful review on Facebook which I stand by as I believe this really helps the public find their perfect wedding car and I was accused of slander, bribery (asked for compensation as I did not receive the car I chose) and threatened by text and email to remove my comment off Facebook or legal proceedings would commence due to ‘damage caused to their business’ because I chose to leave a recommendation that was based on my experience. This was all by the manager Simon who is extremely unpleasant and caused me great upset. I would recommend anyone to avoid this company!
