Don’t deliver to Cornwall despite it being part of the UK mainland but it’s still too ‘remote’! 😡 absolutely shocking in this day and age!

Can confirm ALL of the terrible reviews. It is more or less a scam company geared toward getting you to cancel or return items and then charging a crazy amount for "return" and "restocking". Please be advised.

Terrible Quality and Even Worse Customer Service - Avoid Daals at All Costs! I am beyond frustrated with my experience with Daals. I purchased a bed from them, and within a week, it became clear that the product was of shockingly poor quality. The bed headboard shakes with the slightest touch of one finger, which is completely unacceptable for something that’s supposed to provide stability and comfort. We are scared to sit in the bed and lean against the headboard in case the whole thing collapses and we hurt ourselves. To make matters worse, when I reached out to Daals on July 21st—just 7 days after delivery—to express my concerns and request a refund, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. Despite clearly explaining that the bed is unfit for purpose, Daals had the audacity to claim that the bed is in perfect condition and refused to collect the item for a refund. According to their so-called quality control team, there are "no confirmed faults" with the product. Really? Since when is it acceptable for a bed to wobble with the slightest movement? This kind of response shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and basic product quality. It’s infuriating that Daals refuses to honor the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which clearly states that goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. Daals is in blatant breach of contract, and their refusal to issue a refund despite these clear violations is unacceptable. I am stuck with a substandard product that I no longer want, and Daals has shown absolutely no willingness to rectify the situation. Their customer service is non-existent, and I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from them to think twice. I will never be buying from Daals again, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

I ordered a garden furniture cover costing £90 to cover the furniture that cost me £1k the cover completely disintegrated they agreed that the product was faulty and would exchange I had to send photos of item packaged explained that I would do this once I could uncover furniture once warmer weather arrived now they won’t exchange and a lady called dimple was rude and told me to take it to small claims court. Won’t let me speak to a manager. Don’t order from them their customer service is appalling they are rude and unhelpful.

🚨 Terrible Experience with DAALS🚨 I’m beyond frustrated with the absolutely appalling service I’ve received from Daals. I purchased a bed that arrived with missing parts and poor quality. Despite my immediate communication about these issues, their customer service has been nothing short of a nightmare. After weeks of back-and-forth, they’ve refused to issue a refund, claiming that modifications I had to make due to the missing parts invalidate any assistance. To add insult to injury, they’ve dragged this out so long that they’re now saying it’s outside their 30-day return period – which only happened because of their delays! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I’ve dealt with many lovely, responsive businesses, but this one is shockingly bad. I’ve been left out of pocket with a defective product and no resolution in sight. If you’re considering buying from Daals, think twice! I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. 😡

Do not purchase on this website, the quality, delivery and customer service are disastrous. My customer experience has been very draining. Daals fails to meet customer's needs and expectations in terms of service quality and overall customer experience causing further inconvenience. Wrong items being sent, replacement and refunds take ages and product quality is extremely poor. The customer service is totally inflexible and does not accommodate to clients' needs.

Can’t give zero stars. Ordered my items 3 weeks ago. Items were meant to be and told several times before the 25th July. ( if I go to website now to order it say delivery in a week so u due influence to purchase) on the 18th it said items were eith my Scottish courier. No tracking no contact. On the 23rd I contacted and was told items were given to Scotland on the 22nd on the 24th I said if I hadn’t received order by the 25th as last date given by daals then I’d be looking for refund and contacting bank, on the 25th I was emailed saying items will be delivered today. Still no tracking no evidence. No items came. I called and was told items had only been given to Scotland on the 24th! So a few lies by this point, do as explained I said items have failed to be delivered or evidence of any kind and so I do not want order and our contract has been breached. They have charged me £75 for cancelling the order!!! Despite my only reason for wanting refund is because I’ve never received. I have not cancelled order! I did not receive it on any day they said it would come. Do not go near this company. Absolute nonsense and customer service just make it up to fulfill the enquiry

Ordered my bed frame July 12 and it’s the 24th with no delivery updates. Still don’t have our order. Most companies have a CS number but it’s just an AI chat box and an email for 48hr response. I’m livid. We paid almost $1000 for our bed frame for our moving date July 21 and still no shipping date. Appalled. Will report to BBB. DO NOT SHOP WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They require you to email them a picture of your drivers license to confirm that you are the owner of your credit card, and then they will still proceed with canceling your order and not refunding your money that they were so eager to take out of your account when you placed the order

Do not order from this company An absolutely terrible experience with Daals. I needed to return the item, and I have been told I need to fund and source a courier myself!! It's costing me nearly £400 just to return a product. Secondly, the delivery men would only leave the boxes in my hallway, leaving me to carry them up two flights of stairs myself. Then had the gall to ask me to leave them a review! Terrible customer service, and the quality of the item wasn't good. Avoid at all costs!

We bought 2 nightstands and a closet that has a rattan look. After assembly, we found the closet flimsy and weak, especially the cheaply made drawer. The material on the finish is cheap-looking as well. This was a big mistake on our part.

Terrible experience with Daal’s customer service. I purchased a £320 mirror with an estimated delivery time of two weeks. I received a text at 2:30 PM during my workday, while I was in meetings and unable to check my phone, informing me that the delivery was scheduled for the following day. The message provided no specific delivery time and stated I needed to call before 4 PM to reschedule if necessary. I called at 4:30 PM, as soon as I saw the message, to request a different delivery day when I would be home. The customer service representative was extremely rude and informed me that I would be charged £30 for missing the delivery and that there was nothing I could do about it. The reason he gave was for ‘petrol costs’. This system is a complete scam; bought a luxury item to be given 1.5 hours notice to accept delivery to then be charged. Then wouldn’t confirm when the second delivery attempt will be made Avoid at all costs.

Cheaply made product that showed up damaged and they refused to replace! They made me video myself trying to fix their crappy product and then tried to give me $60 to go away. I spent over $400 on this crappy velvet chair with a huge tear in it. After a week of dealing with their customer service, still no offer to fix it. It’s cheaply made - stay away!

I ordered in bulk from Daals but the return process is outrageous. They would outrightly refuse to refund with random reasons. If you order from them just pray that its exactly what you want, else its equivalent to money stolen from you.

Same issue as others. Defective product. Very quick to take your money, not so quick to rectify the issue. Up to 10 days to review and then a further 10 days to refund.

Oh my god, I just got ripped off. I purchase two end tables and the parts that came with the table were wrong and unable to put together the product. There is no way of contacting this company, only form of communication is by Chat or email. They said that they would get back with me in 24 hours. Thank god I didn't order anything else and will report them to the Better Business Bureau if they don't resolve this. What a disappointment.

Poorly finished chest of drawers. After several emails and photographs they offered me £35 discount, when I said not sufficient they advised it was the finish and withdrew the discount - never heard of this before! Rough wood underneath and not painted properly. I decided, after reading reviews of people who returned things not worth the hassle and stress to try and return. I didn't like their attitude. I wouldn't use them again.

Every aspect of my experience with Daals has been incredibly stressful: Delivery: Daals claim to give you 24 hours notice of delivery. What they actually do is send you a text in the middle of the day before they are planning to send you your order giving you 1.5 hours to cancel in the middle of the working day and threaten you with charging for delivery if you're not in. I called them as soon as I was able to within the working day - an hour and 20 minutes after they text - as I had a long-standing hospital appointment and wouldn't be in. They said it was too late (they'd given me less that two hours to reschedule ) and that I would be charged if I wasn't in. We ended up having to have family members rearrange their plans to sit in our house to accept delivery so we could attend our hospital appointment because of how unreasonably inflexible Daals were. Returns: We ordered what we thought was some new dark wood furniture for our living room - when it arrived and we opened the box, it was cheap MDF wood with a dark wood plastic lacquer that was scratched and poorly glued together. We requested a refund on the basis that the items were defective. What ensued was a week of backwarding and forwarding from an array of different customer service representatives, none of whom would confirm that we could return the defective goods or would book a collection for us. We called repeatedly and not a single person would give us a straightforward answer about their returns process. At least five different customer representatives asked me to send photos, which I did, and then claimed they couldn't view them when, in their reply to me, forwarded back to me all the photos that I'd sent them in my previous email which they claimed they couldn't see! I had another Daals' employee email me with a product spec and asked me to unpack all the boxes again and specify - using their coding system - exactly which parts of each product were defective, in spite of another Daals' employee (eventually) confirming that the photos I'd sent were sufficient. It took a whole week for someone to confirm that our defective items would be collected and gave us a ten day window for collection - which they failed to meet. Three weeks later and we are still awaiting collection - we have emailed and called Daals almost daily requesting our money back and at every turn their responses have been deliberately obstructive and intentionally designed to prevent us exercising our legal rights to return faulty goods. Today, my husband asked to speak to a manager and requested a copy of the recording of the call - the Daals' adviser put him on hold for 35 minutes before coming back on to say that there was no manager he could talk to. When my husband said that he was happy to wait, the Daals' representative said that she was terminating the call and hung up on him!! I honestly cannot stress enough that you should NEVER order from these crooks. Their products are low quality and their customer service is corrupt and unlawful. Their behaviour has caused us a month of totally unnecessary stress and we are still no closer in getting our £500 back from them, in spite of our best efforts and willingness to return the goods to them. They also seem to be operating illegally on Trustpilot as they are currently trading under daals.co.uk and daals.com - please do yourself a favour and read the customer experiences on the daals.com Trustpilot profile from UK customers, you will see a pattern of treatment of customers that reads exactly like what I've described above. I really hope this review spares someone else having to go through what we have experienced.

I wish I had taken the time to read some of the reviews here before making an order with this company. We ordered a sofa in October 2023 which arrived faulty (the back on one side collapses and does not click with the other being a sofa bed) plus the sofa is ROCK hard to sit on. Firstly the delivery company left it in my hallway and refused to bring it in any further leaving me no choice but to hire a handyman to lift it with me as it was too heavy. The sofa arrived tightly packaged so we had to cut the box open in order to unpack. Once assembled and realising the faults I contacted Daals (within the 14 day requirement to return) I had an email back requesting I return the sofa which has to be in its original packaging however - the original box was no longer useable. I emailed back to ask for another way to box/wrap the item and never heard back. I continued calling the company and no response. The sofa remains currently boxed and packaged waiting for collection however Daals are now saying because it’s outside of the 14 days return period they can only exchange the item?! So because they don’t respond that is somehow my fault?? Months later and I am still back and forth having to explain the situation to several different advisors as my complaint is passed around. Stay away from this company it is not worth it!!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
